This place is great. The food was awesome, people are friendly. All you can eat. Plus an ice cream cone.

A local favorite! My wife and I need a Mongolian fix at least once a week. This place is clean and comfortable. Always well stocked with a variety of meat and vegetables. The staff is kind! Make a visit here a priority. You will be glad you did!

This is so much better than the Mountain View spot because of better parking and more room in the restraunt. Great for the family — we have four kids and this is economic choice for dinning out. All you can eat.

Fairly standard Mongolian american. Frozen meat, average veg, very minimal in terms of décor. Certainly the cheapest all you can eat in greater palo alto.

My husband told me about a place similar to this in Arizona, so when I found this place he wanted to go. He was like a kid in the candy store! I wasn’t too impressed and just sucked it up and ate the food. Maybe it was the different sauces I used? I wouldn’t drive all the way to Menlo Park just to eat this though, my husband would. lol

I like buffets, I like Mongolian BBQ. Check it out, they combined the two together! Varieties of meat, veges, and sauces. You get to experiment and try different combination. There are also some hot food such as egg rolls, fried wonton. If you are hungry and craving for mongolian bbq, this is the spot!

Excellent! Only been here for lunch but always reliably fresh and delicious and FAST. Here are some tips: 1. If coming for lunch, try to beat the noon rush by coming EARLY. 2. Use as much liquid sauces as you can so that you get a nice rich flavor… otherwise they might pour water on your food on the stone and that can dampen the flavor. 3. The egg drop soup is not my favorite — watery. 4. The little sesame cakes are good… the big one can use more salt(I know, picky picky but I have had better). Their service is fantastic… try the soft serve ice cream in coke for an impromptu float! YUMMM!!!

Great place to get stir fry noodles without waiting too long. A little pricey, yes. But it’s all you can eat. There is also a buffet of sweet and sour chicken, wontons, fried rice, spring roll, and sesame balls, as well as steamed rice and soup(miso? Egg flower?) We’ve come here several times, and our experiences have always been good. So glad they are close to home!

Meh. Service is still really nice, but since my rave initial reaction, the price has gone up a couple dollars and the shrimp are gone. Also my cook on the meal itself has been incomplete my last several visits — I’m almost guaranteed a bite of raw onion every time. It’s still the closest place to me, but now I continue to visit with a tinge of disappointment since I know it used to be better. It’s no longer great, but just good Mongolian BBQ.

Standard AYCE Mongolian BBQ. It’s pretty comparable to every other place I’ve tried. Nothing special, but still very satisfying. I would load up two bowls(one with meat/sauce, one with veggies). Once they cook it down, it’s about one bowl’s worth.

The best all you can eat Mongolian bbq I’ve had. They have a large selection of ingredients and very fresh. They even have a large selection of sauces and seasonings. Only $ 15 for dinner, I wouldn’t go anywhere else for ayce Mongolian bbq. The restaurant is clean and looks quite nice. Definitely a lot fancier then other places. The staff is friendly and service is quick. I drive from Sunnyvale to eat here even though there are plenty of Mongolian bbq places around Sunnyvale.

Great lunch spot, especially if you are hungry and in a relative hurry! I had not had AYCE Mongolian BBQ since high school, and I’m so glad that I decided to try this place. It’s not a classy establishment and the line is long but moves very quickly and efficiently. You assemble your own bowl from a huge selection of meats, veggies, and sauces, and they cook it right in front of you. I’ll be back!

This place will now be my go-to lunch place. Pretty good price for all-you-can-eat with $ 13 bucks plus tax for lunch. There’s vegetarian options and meats of all sorts. Come hungry! Cannot wait to go back!

When I lived in NorCal, MP Mongolian BBQ was my most visited restaurant. Any way you cut it, it’s a great deal for AYCE. If you don’t eat a lot, MBBQ is probably not your thing. Buffet-style, you add meat, vegetables, and sauces to your bowl then pass it off to the grill master. The meats are frozen, but honestly, I’d rather have them be frozen for food safety purposes(never got food poisoning here in 15+ trips). The vegetables are always fresh. It makes for a good combo! There’s also some filler food — soft serve, sesame balls, spring rolls, egg drop soup — when you need a break from the MBBQ. The service is as good as you can expect at any buffet and they have no problems with you trying to eat everything in sight.

This place is not located facing the road, so maybe that explains the low number of reviews, but I loved the food/service here. It’s $ 15 for the buffet. They have a variety of meats to choose from and mix with your noodles, as well as vegetarian options. The chefs are very friendly and you don’t have to wait too long for your food. Awesome place!

One time I broke my glasses and had to visit LensCrafters to get a replacement pair. Since I had three hours to kill, I decided to start off with getting lunch here. For a Mongolian BBQ restaurant, I would say this place does an adequate job with the noodles, meats, and sauces. I’ve tried better Mongolian BBQ places that have more options, but this was fine. I tried the recommended sauces and mine turned out a bit too salty. I did enjoy the complementary fried strips with sweet and sour sauce. The orange chicken was very Americanized, but what can I say, I still enjoyed it. Overall, I would rate the food here a 3, but because the service was great, I’ll give this place a 3.5 and round it to a 4 for the whole number rating system on Unilocal

MP Mongolian BBQ — a lot of good food for a fairly low price, hardly any waiting, good for vegetarians, and also good for groups. — There is a pretty good variety of food for the Mongolian BBQ line. The meats and veggies are fresh, with a good combination of sauces to customize the flavor. Also the time to cook the food on the wok is amazingly fast. — The times I’ve gone, I’ve never had to wait for a table, even with a larger group. Sometimes there is a dinner rush, but even then the time to wait in the Mongolian BBQ line is not that bad. — There is also a side buffet with a small selection. There is some katsu, sesame balls, egg rolls, rice, soup, orange chicken, fried wontons, and a soft-serve ice cream machine. The selection could be bigger(a reason I am docking a star), but what they do have is pretty solid. I definitely try to make my way here whenever I’m in the area.

I am not an expert in dining Mongolian-style meals. But for $ 11.99, you get to be creative and choose any raw Asian pasta, meat(s), vegetable(s), and any combination of sauce(s) and condiment(s) to have your dish grilled in a(give or take) 2,500 degree heated round stove cooked thoroughly by the professional chef. Of note: Raw pasta and some of the raw items are expanded in size and may require more than one bowl. But once the chef cooks all the raw ingredients, the items will shrink. In addition to the pasta buffet, you can also get a choice of appetizers; such as pot stickers, egg rolls, fried won ton skins and white and fried rice. There is also a frozen yogurt machine too for dessert!\ The pasta dish was indeed cooked completely well to my liking. The restaurant also sells a few bottle beers. Beers and Chow Mein… mmm!
