So when I think about a Candy Store. I think Candyland LOL yes! I loved that game as a kid. I mean who doesn’t. Candy equals happiness. At least in my world it does. For a candy/goodies store, Sweet Noshings has a decent selection of candy. Plus, my friend told me that they make their own flavored popcorn, which I thought was pretty cool. They also sell fudge and ice cream. However, although they may have a lot of goodies, Sweet Noshings did not equal happiness and I left not wanting to go back! First off, the customer service is lacking. I have been to Sweet Noshings twice and I expect(especially in the south) to be greeted when I enter a store and we were not. The workers were behind the counter or in the back talking amongst themselves. Mind you both times the store was empty, they were not attending to customers. The first time I figured maybe it was just one of those days but nope it happened twice. Second, although they may have a decent selection of different candies and goods. I feel like this place is kind of pricy and I am not cheap. I understand it is midtown, but $ 4.50 for a peanut butter cup that wasn’t even worth the price. Like really! Overall, I hate to be harsh, because honestly, I love the idea of the store but for me the biggest let down was the customer service.

Ah the nostalgia when you step foot into this cute store. I solely come here for milkshakes. If you haven’t had one yet, I don’t know why you’re still reading this and not making your way here to get one! They have alllllll the candy you could possibly dream of and even some you never knew could exist!

Their popcorn is insane. I’ve loved every kind I’ve tried. I gave my dad some of the Memphis mix(BBQ and caramel) and he finished the bag in no time flat. Definitely give it a shot. Oh! And they have the harry potter jelly beans that have gross flavors. My friends and I have played Russian Roulette with them at the bar many times. While it never gets less disgusting, it’s always entertaining.

So I discovered this place through the eyes of my child. I don’t know where to begin… the popcorn is awesome the candy selection is overwhelming. The variety of popcorn flavors are endless. As if that wasn’t enough, they even offer ice cream! Several of the popcorn flavors were suggestions from customers! If you have an idea let them know. They will try it out. If it works you’ll see it as an offering. I have utilized Sweet Noshings to create gift bags on various occasions and for corporate events. Leena will work with you at various price points to cater to the needs of your budget and/or event. My personal favorite is the chocolate covered gummy bears. Don’t knock it until you try it! But please-oh-please do not blame me for your new addiction.

Sweet Noshing, this is by far the most amazing candy store I’ve ever experienced. I remember the first time I went their I bought cookies; for three weeks straight I purchased cookies every day! They don’t know it yet but I’m their brand ambassador

Located in a great area next door to some fabulous restaurants! They had a very extensive selection(my personal favorites were all of the espresso flavored candies!) and friendly staff. I also love that they are open so late. My only complaint… that you have to use a different bag of you goose candies that cost different prices. It was kind of a pain having to switch every time I wanted a different candy.

The ice cream sandwich was delicious. Two fresh homemade chocolate chip cookies holding a scoop each of chocolate chip cookie dough and caramel praline pecan ice cream was more than enough for two to share. The spicy cheddar and jalapeño popcorn were also tasty! Return visit– I had the Key Lime Pie ice cream today made in house. The texture was perfect and the flavor was delicious! I’ll definitely be back for this treat!!!

A great place to go after dining at any of the area restaurants for an ice cream or candy sweet treat. Big selection of gummies, chocolates, espresso beans, and jelly beans. Can’t wait to dig into my goodie bags once the little ones go to bed!

My wife is 7 months pregnant; they closed at 930 pm on Saturday. Tonight, with customers in the store, they locked the door in our face at 932 pm. I said, «my wife is pregnant, can we come in?» The employee, «No, We are closed.» Three customers shopping at that time, not even at register.

CANDYCANDYCANDYCANDYCANDY!!! I’m actually excited to review this place! Willie Wonka has nothing on Sweet Noshings!!! The set up is even sweet!!! There are candy jars throughout the store, with scoopers to retrieve the goodies inside. Popcorn, homemade ice cream & gelato are also apart of the tasty treats you can munch on! My favorite flavor of the ice cream is banana pudding! Every time I visit this place, I leave with a bag full of Jelly Bellies! Great place for all ages!

Just go! Cool place to take the family and fill up on candy candy candy! They also have local stuff like coffee and homemade candles. Popcorn is made in house and ice cream comes from Memphis Creamery! This isn’t chocolatier or candy making place but where they buy in bulk and resale — they have everything under the sun including the old school candies like lemon heads and boston beans.

Cute place, with tons of popcorn, candy and ice cream. I have enjoyed a few of the flavors of popcorn they carry and the ice cream is fine. I just wished they actually made there stuff or could tell me where they get it. I have visited a number of times and I know that once I asked about the fudge and the girl told me they don’t have time to make their own fudge and that they get it out of Mid TN. Well being from middle TN area I asked where do they get it, thinking that I may know it, but she couldn’t tell me. The same happened with some other item like popcorn or ice cream. I do believe they locally source the gelato that they now carry. I understand every place cannot be a craft or artisan establishment, but at least know where your product comes from.

I am addicted to their popcorn. Vanilla + sea salt caramel was just perfect. Today, they didn’t have vanilla, but now they have toffee flavor. I think I can adjust to this flavor. This place also have gellato and lots of candies. Make sure your kids are watched or you can end up with sugar-addled version in short order.

This place is a cute, hipstery looking dive that I walked into while I was waiting for my food to cook at Golden India down the street. When I stepped in I thought I’d walked into Sweets Heaven. There are jars all over this giant middle table and along the walls filled with goodies. There’s also gelato! I got some gelato and fudge. The fudge was super strong and I couldn’t finish it. It’s so strong I eat it a few bites at a time. Oddly enough it went really well with the gelato(and the ice cream I had at home the next day). The gelato was awesome! I enjoyed the atmosphere and the experience. I’m not fond of candy so I’m not sure when I’ll be back, but it was a fun experience just walking around inside. I forgot to ask them if they sell Ugly Mug Hot Chocolate! But I bet the Ugly Mug place nearby sells it! Loved: — Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Gelato(all time FAV!) — Mint Chocolate Chip Gelato — Orange Sherbert Gelato Ok: — Chocolate Fudge — S’mores Gelato Disliked: — Chocolate cone

When they first opened, everything was super! This past Saturday, maybe it was the unruly crowd disregarding personal space, but it seems to have affected the staff, as they seemed complacent mixed with nonchalant. The goods are sweet, but it’s not worth the trouble. Come on guys, step your game up!

This cute little shop offers about every candy you can imagine. But be careful: most is priced by the pound, which can get out of hand really quickly! My favorite is the dark chocolate covered sea salt caramels. They’re savory and sweet, a perfect combo for my salt-loving tastebuds. They also brew tasty coffee and have some gelato and ice cream to choose from, too. I’ve yet to have any ice cream, but I’ve been eyeing the pretzel cones… I’ve gotta try that. I’ve found the service is weirdly hit-or-miss. Sometimes I get a warm welcome from the staff, other times I get the cold shoulder. No one has ever been outright rude, just indifferent. But it’s a great place to stop for a little sweet treat after a big Overton Square meal, so I’ll be back.

Stopped by here this past Thursday scouting places for my aunt that specialize in candies that can be tailored to a specific color theme. Not only do they have different candy, but ice cream and gourmet popcorn as well. I chose chocolate covered s’mores for me, chocolate turtle for my hubby, and a peanut butter cup to share. Let me tell you, this is not your run of the mill I can by this at the store type of candy. I only needed that one piece and I was set. Very rich, mixed with the crunch of the graham cracker and the squishy texture of marshmallow, I loved all of that going on in my mouth. The Popcorn OMG! I can’t name all the flavors, but plenty of which to choose. I chose Dill from a past experience so I wanted to try theirs. I was not disappointed. I almost killed myself eating this stuff and I didn’t want to share but I did eventually. So if you’re looking to quench that sweet tooth or the munchies, this would be a great little nook to visit. You won’t be disappointed. Almost forgot, as far as pricing goes each item was purchased at approx. $ 3.99.

Let me start by saying that the owner, Leene, is one of the nicest people in Memphis. Every time we could in she always says hello, asks how we’re doing and tells us about any new items they have in stock. Their selection of candy is awesome. Want a pound of only blue M&Ms, beer flavored jelly beans or chocolate covered pretzels? They have you covered. I really don’t think there is a candy item that they don’t have. This is by far my kids’ favorite part and my wife is addicted to their mini gummy bears, she swears they taste better then the regular sized ones. My big draw is their flavored popcorn. They are constantly trying out new flavors and are happy to give you a sample of anyone of their custom creations. I usually go with the taco, jalapeño cheddar or garlic. They also have a selection of sweeter options if that is more you thing. In addition to all of these things, they serve great coffee, fudge and have a new ice cream bar.

A visit to Sweet Noshings is my favorite place to treat myself after work or completing a project. This place is great and you smell the aroma of chocolate and coffee as soon as you open the door. I’m a super big fan of the praline pecans-thanks for always being willing to order more for me. They have everything from jelly beans, fudge, lollipops, licorice, old fashioned candy, sour straws, and every chocolate covered concoction you can imagine. Chocolate treats relax and de-stress me after a stressful day or situation and Sweet Noshings delivers. Today I purchased chocolate covered cherries, strawberries, cranberries, blueberries, orange peel, and cayenne pepper. I also got a few yogurt covered treats-I can pretend these were my healthy options :). They also have over 20 flavors of popcorn, ice cream, and gourmet coffee drinks. Be sure to stop by on your next trip to Overton Square.

I am not one who is crazy about candy. In fact, I rarely eat it. So, if that is the case why did I find myself so inclined to step into this cute gem in Overton Square? Well, it could have been all the locally made stuff they had promoting Memphis, or it could have been the bag of flavored popcorn I saw another customer roll out with right as I approached the door. Either way it goes, this place is adorable! A fellow Memphis Tigers grad and her husband opened the joint. She provided me wonderful samples of their various popcorn flavors that they make in house. I tried the salt and vinegar flavor, white cheddar, and other flavors before settling on buying the two together. In here the have a huge variety of candy from some of my old favorites like gummy worms and gummy bears to candy canes to chocolate almonds. They had a little bit of everything. In here they also sell locally made soy candles that smelled amazing and ice cream. I think this would be a special treat for kids to stop in and check it out or for adults with a strong sweet tooth.
