If I could give no star I would. It’s not the girls that work there they r the best. It’s the manager he definitely could use some customer service class. Don’t expect military discount at this subway.

Wow, worst service ever in a Subway. I really could not get over how bad it really was. The sandwich itself was typical subway, but be prepared to get some attitude from someone you cannot even understand. Lots of mumbling and dirty looks. STAYAWAY!

DONOTEATHERE!!! worst service ever! I went in for breakfast on April 14,2012. I asked the young man behind the counter if they were only serving breakfast he said«duh» and laughed at me. Then I asked for 3 flatbread breakfast sandwiches. He said«well which ones» and I repeated myself. He said«u didn’t say what kind of bread» and I said«yes I did-flatbread» and he said«no u just said flat» then he said«what cheese» and I said“I already told u yellow” and he said«I didn’t even asked u» which he did. I said«u r being very rude» and he called me rude and said that I was trying to start an argument. I said«I m the customer and have never been treated so poorly in a restaraunt before. I went to the manager and told her and she did nothing about it. My biggest mistake was that I did not walk out immediately and call the owner of the Subway.(which I still will) When u offend a customer ii usually results in a loss of 50 customers. Here’s the kicker-I am a speaker who gives seminars to thousands of people. I promptly walked to the Memphis convention center and spoke to a crowd and told them NOT to patronize that place. Dear owner if u want to keep that place open please clean house and fire that morning crew. Ps the one star is because u can’t do zero stars.

This review isn’t for the food, because I’m pretty sure that(in my opinion at least) all subway food is the same. But I am a subway lover, so there is the reason for the star. I’m on spring break from college/work in Kansas so my dad and I decided to get in the car and drive wherever. We decided to stop in Memphis for the week and stayed at a hotel just a block and a half away from subway. While I try not to eat anywhere on vacation that I can eat back home, my dad decided to go to the Grizzlies vs Lakers game tonight and I had no desire to go. So while he was gone, I went down to subway so that I didn’t have to to a restaurant all by myself. Again, the food was fine. I am not one to complain or be picky, I’m usually at places like subway to just get my shit and get out, but I had a major issue… The guy making my sub made it just fine. Everything was going great until I went to pay for my food. I put the water and bag of chips on the counter and reached into my pocket to pull out money when I heard REALLY loud music start to play. It was rap and the only words that I could hear were ones that were really vulgar. Now, to each his own on music choice, but why am I hearing it at a public restaurant? I then realize that it is coming from behind the register. The guy is typing the food onto the screen and then goes«Sh**, I have to take this.» He picks up his personal cell phone and answers like this«Hey, can you hang on for a sec my ni***?» 0. o that’s right, the short version for the n-word. He was African-American(I am not), but I still find that word to be so offensive just like the r-word, even though I am not mentally handicapped. Anyways, he then continues to hold the phone between his shoulder and ear as he requests that I hand over $ 8.95. Still in a state of shock, I pick my jaw up off of the floor and hand him my cash, not saying a word. While he is getting my change he continues to say«hello? hello? hello!!!» into the phone, his voice getting louder and louder. He hands me my change without another word and walks out from behind the counter, finding a seat in the restaurant and continuing to talk on his phone, still using a host of offensive words and slurs. Wow. I know this review is really long for a review of subway, but I have honestly never felt so icky about service in the 19 years I have walked this planet. I’m pretty easy to please, really, I just hate the fact that he not only answered his phone while cashing me out but also spoke the way that he did.

This subway just re-opened after a remodel– I was excited since I was staying right across the street at the Courtyard Marriott and thoroughly sick of their crappy food. So the rating isn’t really for the food– Subway is the same s#@t everywhere of course– minus one star for communication(the guy at the counter had the thickest drawl ever, had to ask to repeat everything he said) and another for their hours– really crappy. They close at 7 during the week and at 4(!) on Sundays. Do people in Memphis not eat dinner after 7?
