Very below average… First, it took about ten minutes just to place the order. The cashier was answering calls and taking orders along with helping anyone who would walk to the counter(rather than just saying if u could please hold so I can get these guys’ order). We picked this place strictly due to it being breakfast 24⁄7. This was the first of many bad things as the breakfast was subpar at best. I felt like after the 20+m wait(eggs and sausage) that it would ATLEAST be decent. The biscuit was rubbery(how they managed that shit, I don’t know) and the eggs were super bland. My wife got eggs that were over cooked and a burnt hash brown. She is preggers and almost had an emo cry over this, which was weird but thats another story. Good luck eating here, maybe you will have a better experience.

I think I might have came at the wrong time. I really wanted to try some of their vegetables they cook daily, but don’t cook on the weekends. I was limited with my menu options because of this. Anyhow, I went for the Veggie Quesadilla, and a side of fries. My nephew had the fried chicken sandwich served with fries. My veggie quesadilla was better than I thought it would be, it had some onions, green peppers and diced veggie patty pressed in a burrito sized tortilla with plenty of cheese. I was skeptical when I first read it, but it turned out pretty tasty for a midday lunch. My nephew complained about his fried chicken sandwich being a chicken strip thrown on a big bun. I think that was because the bun was so big in comparison to the actual chicken, and the amount of lettuce and tomato on it. The fries were a plain olé steak house style fry that get the job done. I was expecting a little more out of the food, but for a economical lunch spot, go for it.

Just visiting Memphis for a day or two but stopped here for coffee. Great coffee and better conversation with Carol. Pointed my friend and I in so many great directions. Also can’t forget about the cinnamon rolls! Perfect start to a Saturday.

This place is open everyday for lunch and breakfast on North Main in downtown. It’s a small but cute interior. The prices for lunch are under $ 10. It is the kind of place that you order at the counter. They have a hot food bar that you can choose from or you can order from the menu with items cooked to order. If you order from the hot bar, you take the food with you. If you order from the menu, then they will bring it to you. I had the fried pork chop with brussels sprouts and greens with a fried corn bread. Everything was really good. The brussels sprouts were amazing, though. They were perfectly seasoned. G had the catfish. My food came from the hot bar, so unfortunately my food was not piping hot. The catfish is cooked to order, so it was piping hot. The staff is very friendly. I would like to try the breakfast. Also, their menu items change regularly, so you never know what they will have.
