Parkers Water Ice

We came here to try out their famous water ice and it was so good! I had a cherry and black cherry mix and my husband had a orange cream and raspberry mix. The texture is so soft and unlike a sno cone, it won’t melt while you’re eating it.
The place was so wide open. I believe it’s because they just opened but there a few stools along the wall and a bit of a seating area against the wall.
I found that the ladies were friendly when questioned, but didn’t really converse too much. I even went as far as to offer my opinion about the ice, recounting my previous experience from another place, not as good as this place, and ended w an awkward silence afterwards. Yikes! So we just hurried up and ate our ice and left. We said goodbye walking out the door, w no response.
Otherwise, the favors were pretty good. They’re not natural favors but it’s still a refreshing treat.
I’d come back, but next time I’ll take my ice to go.

Water ice is one of my favorite things in Memphis. I love that they moved to a much more convenient location. It’s amazing, soft, flavorful blended flavored ice magical goodness.

Oh wow… I really liked this place. Growing up in NYC, you know it was summer when you saw someone coming down your block selling water ices from their vendor carts. So I was thrilled when I came across Parkers today. Obviously I have never been to Parkers before so I stopped in to check it out. As I walked in, I was promptly greeted and asked what I would like to order. I asked the worker what the most popular flavors were and she kindly told me that they were Strawberry Lemonade and Blue Raspberry. I was also told that I could try two samples, so I tried the strawberry lemonade and blue raspberry. I liked the strawberry lemonade a lot so I ordered a medium size water ice which was $ 3.99. Not a bad deal as a medium water ice comes with your choice of three flavors. However, I only chose two because I just wanted the strawberry lemonade mixed with coconut and it was so yummy!!! Perfect treat for a hot day like today. All in all, I really enjoyed my water ice. The place was clean, had good customer service and great water ices that reminded me of my childhood in NYC. What more could I ask for?
