An adolescent Texas Longhorn once said to me, «Brian, What is better than a restaurant chain that encourages cattle to stand up for their rights and not back down?» I thought long and hard, but could not find a response to her question. «A restaurant chain that disenfranchises the rights of birds of course!» She told me. This heifer was a little bit psychotic. The other boys and girls would laugh and make fun of her. «A restaurant chain that stands up for the freedoms that Americans possess. Of course the right to have beliefs and opinions without having to back down in order to appease the public. The right of a man to be named Cathy. The right of a man named Cathy to operate his business the best way he knows how. And finally, the right of a man named Cathy to name his son Truett.» Chickens are smarter than one would think. They know how to search for food. Most know how to avoid humans. The roosters know how to protect their hens when in danger. You’ve got to give chickens some credit. They also know that the rooster has to fertilize the hen’s eggs and the hen must sit on them if there’s any chance of survival. There is a natural order to things and some ways work better than others. Chick-fil-a knows this and has found the best way to make a chicken sandwich. Of course a meat bird will never live long enough to lay an egg. In this case the rooster and hen serve the same purpose equally well. Let’s have a look at what rights are granted to us and see what you think. I was trying to explain this to a Rhode island red, but it went over his head. New Englanders. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.(Used with permission of the first congress of the United States)(That’s a 9th amendment right) History lessons aside, this store especially is a well lubricated, well maintained, and well run machine. It is amazing how well they serve their customers and how efficient they are while doing so. All the employees here love their jobs and most have been here several years. The volume that they produce is mind boggling. People come here and stay in droves. The drive through is the number one in the city. No other drive through can keep the line moving this quickly. The dining room wait service is phenomenal. The quality is so much above other restaurants. That’s because they use poor defenseless chickens. That’s fine as long as the cattle are ok with it. I certainly am! I have spent many hours here and eaten many a meal. I plan on bringing a live chicken to have freshly prepared for me. They do that here on special request. Thank you for the hard work you do day in and day out! I just realized, chickens don’t have any rights. I eat chicken. You should too! Thank you Marc and Sharon!

The food was good. The service was friendly and prompt. Chick-fil-a just seems a little overpriced for what you get.

Maybe the worst chick fil a experience I’ve ever had. We go out of our way on road trips to stop at CFA and this one was a huge disappointment. Rude staff, especially those behind the counter. I think the man who checked us out said maybe 3 words to us. Not up to the chick fil a standard at all. Luckily though, the food still tasted great!

Every time I go here they some how mess something up. Twice I have gone through the drive thru and been giving my food and drink with out being given a straw. The last time I was here, I ordered food, was given my drink and the girl at the window stared at me, went up to another person and said to them«this guy is creepily staring at me» when they gentleman came up to the window and asked what the problem was. I told them that I wasn’t given my food yet. No apology, a bag was just thrusted at me. Terrible service at this location.

The food is fantastic. The service is personal and very friendly. So what is not to like about Chik-Fil-A? Well, the organization of everything is HORRIBLE. Just getting from the parking lot to the door requires taking your life in your hands. Once you get in, if it’s a busy time, EVERYBODY is gathered at the counter. While you eat, you constantly hear names being called 3 to 5 times for completed orders. They do free refills but the machines are all behind the counter requiring customers who aren’t placing orders to gather at the counter mingled into the crowd. I suggest a dining room about twice as large with a dedicated drink station in the dining room. Then, give customers a numbered receipt and dedicate one end of the counter to delivering orders to customers by a number displayed on the wall. Keep ¾ of the counter dedicated to taking orders. Really, the problem here is a nice one to have — so many people love Chik-Fil-A. The stores all just seem like they are design to serve small numbers of people even though crowds show up regularly. As I said, the food is out of this world and healthy for the most part. The service is the best of all fast food restaurants«My pleasure» is a phrase I commonly hear here and it’s awesome to see that kind of politeness. It’s just a shame that all of that quality food and service are overshadowed by an experience that leaves one feeling quite literally lost in the crowd. Still — you can’t go wrong at Chik-Fil-A and that’s why the restaurant gets 4 stars why the designers cost it a star. As I write this cars are wrapped around the building waiting for drive-thru — yet another testament to a great restaurant poorly designed.

I stopped by earlier this morning for breakfast before my long drive back to East Tennessee. The drive through line was long but it seemed to be moving quick! Regardless, I always walk in to order to go and Chik-fil-a. The line inside wasn’t too bad and I was able to place my order quick. You could tell there was a «rushed» feeling during the peak breakfast time and the staff was trying to be efficient and get people in and out. So no stars taken away from the service as I received my small cup of coffee quick and my to go order as well — combo spicy chicken biscuit and a 3-count chicken minis. As I walked back to the car, organized the food so I can safely eat it on the go, and left the parking lot, this is where the two stars were taken away. Firstly, my hashbrown bites were more on the soggy side than crispy. Ehh, they were busy so must have rushed a bit. My spicy chicken biscuit was quickly thrown together and wrapped, so it was a tad sloppy, but the chicken was not crispy and the biscuit was not as fluffy as the usual chik-fil-a biscuits. Lastly, the chicken minis were sloppily packaged with the buns flat and hard(not fluffy) and the chicken not fully golden crisp and falling apart. I literally had to peel the bread off the package in order to eat the minis. By no means will this stop me from going to Chik-fil-a, but I do expect quality and respect with their food in any location. I’m sure it was just bad timing with t being busy and rushed, and maybe I was just the unlucky one who had these detailed problems.

We are very happy with this location. They handle a crowd efficiently and almost everyone I’ve encountered on their staff offers a cheery disposition! While this place can be extremely swamped at prime meal times, it’s not as bad on off peak hours! I wish the company would invest in expanding this location both for the inside, parking lot, and drive-thru! I can bet this location brings in enough money to justify the changes.

Absolutely love the chicken sandwich. I have gone to almost every chick fila in memphis but today service was a bit rude. Cashier did not acknowledge us and we just waited. I waited in line for sauce again and was not acknowledge.

I have never been a fan of JUST chicken places, but WOW these little chickens must smoke a little crack cocaine before they die. This chicken is flavorful, juicy and the crust is just-right crispy. And I have tried a few in town and out of town, no difference. And you just can’t beat someone smiling and calling out your name personally for your food. Love that personal touch. The price is comparable and the selection is not as typical with lots of healthy alternatives. I will be back.

You can’t complain much about any Chick Fil a. You get great customer most of the time, because«it is their pleasure» to help you. This chick fil a is good, clean and even when it is very crowded they still give you good service. Only 4 stars well lets keep it real it is a fast food restaurant.

Best fast food chicken period. My favorite is the chicken biscuit for breakfast. Light, fluffy, and crunchy! Goes great with tater-tot hash browns and coffee. Their chicken nuggets are the best. Just the right texture. And I love the chicken sandwich with lemonade. The only negative thing I can say is that this place is super-busy. The line usually winds around the building even though they have two places for to-go orders. They do a lot of good in the community and it’s nice that their employees get Sundays off.

This was my first Chick-Fil-A experience. I tried many years ago in Louisville, but alas, it was a Sunday and i didn’t know these religious folk were closed. Gays, politics, etc. whatevs… i dont care about their views, i’m here for the chicken, and good it was! Service was fast & friendly, albeit a bit ditzy. The blonde at the counter seemed new and she couldn’t figure out how to work the register. The chicken sandwich was tasty, fresh, and not greasy at all. The pickle added just the right amount of crunch and acidity to a sandwich that was savory and filling. I anticipated having to buy a 2nd sandwich to fill me up before a day of road tripping, but I was stuffed and barely finished 1. Great chicken sandwiches, and 20 times better then McDonalds copy-cat version.
