I was lucky enough to find this nail place after moving across the bridge to Melbourne. I am so glad to have found a place that will make you and appointment and actually be ready at the correct time. She has been very helpful and I look forward to my mani and pedi combo now instead of going in and waiting on others to finish up in the nail mills around the beach. I am so thankful to have found Teresa and will use her as long as she is open for business. A client that is proud to say so and would tell anyone to try her out!

I have had Teresa do my nail since 1990 when I had nail tips and weekly manicures before leaving the working scene to become a stay at home mom. I had received gift certificates for other salons for mani-pedis but the idea of some of the foot baths being made into the chair scares me… how do they sanitize and drain?(Give me the Wal-Mart kind I have at home). Plus some of the tecs don’t speak very good english and carry on a conversation with each other in a different language while you are in the chair. I have requested from people that PLEASEGETME A CERTIFICATEFROMTHENAILHUT. Teresa has them available! I’ve now been seeing Teresa for Mani-Pedis for 10 years now and enjoy the pampering… the foot massage is always the best! For those who don’t like the chatter while Teresa pays attention to every nail… please go to the Walk in Salon’s, leaving more appointments for those who request her expertise!

I am sorry, after reading these reviews — I thought this place would be a diamond in the rough. But not so… To begin with I am a demure 29 year old, and I was not sure about the«salon’s» location as it is smack dab in a shady neighborhood. Theresa is not a professional or relaxing person to be around. She talked loud, fast, and with personal inappropriate stories for 3 hours straight! She even talked trash about every client that came and left while I was there! Yeah you get your feet scrubbed to the softness of a baby’s bottom… But that’s while the foot-tub-you-can-buy-at-Walmart ‘s water gets cold, and the«desk chair» you are sitting in does not have a decent massager. I didn’t even get a leg massage. So my legs and feet were getting cold… while she yammered on and on. She argued with me over getting acrylics, when I said I needed them on only a few nails to even things out for my anniversary Cruise… she wasted time painting my regular nails in French manicure just to show my how«hot» they looked(she kept saying that). I am not a confrontational person, so it took a lot for me to ask her«Do you just not want to do the acrylics?» She assured me she could, and proceeded to clean off all the wasted polish she just did. Then she began chopping ALL my nails — and I Unilocaled! I only wanted acrylics on a few to match other lengths… now I would have to get ALL of them done. I was furious — but as my Cruise was the next day, I had no choice. She whispered to herself incessantly, saying things like ‘That’s it… Here we gooooo… Oh you’re good…” All under her breath while trying to paint a straight white line for French tips. It was freaky, especially because she did it on EVERY nail, and when she would keep messing up(happened over and over) she would curse at herself. I am sorry, but that is not normal behavior! As the 3rd hour started rolling around, and it’s dark outside — a skinny, questionable looking guy wandered in and started conversing with her. Since the only light she has on in the whole place is her nail desk lamp — I was exceedingly uncomfortable. He hit her up for money, and she helped him out. She proceeded to tell me a story about him being her neighbor, suspicious activities, so and and so forth. I didn’t even wait for the paint to fully dry — I was out of there so fast. I would rather have a less personal, more serene, well lit environment — then this hole in the wall, overly-personal, unprofessional salon and it’s proprietor.

I’ve returned many times, but for the first time I had a pedicure. O M F G. I’m 100 and have been to salons around the world, not to sound hooty-hoo(she’s rubbing off on me, excuse the pun), but Ms. Teresa gives the best pedicure in the world. The last time my feet were that smooth, the doc was slapping my butt. Drop what you’re doing and get a pedicure. You won’t regret. She doesn’t charge enough as far as I’m concerned.

WOW. I was visiting a girlfriend in Florida this past weekend and instead of going for my usual biweekly pedicure before going down, she booked an appt for me with Teresa down there. She kept raving about it, so I figure why not? It was an experience unlike any other. Coming from the hustle and bustle of the ‘burbs of DC, theres plenty of nail shops with screaming signs of cheap spa pedicures and their fancy equipment with massaging chairs. This place was called nail hut, and the décor matched the theme accordingly. Had a great beachy/tiki feel and I loved it as soon as I walked in. Teresa, the owner and tech really cares about every foot and hand that comes through that door, and shows it. If you are looking for a quick in and out this is NOT it. She took her time, kept me entertained with her stories, and taught me a few things. She even custom designed a color for me. She is very clean and meticulous, and now I am scared to go anywhere else… too bad I can’t fly down every two weeks! Definitely going there every time I visit.

I sent my husband to teresa last week… his frankenfeet are a thing of the past. We’re talking baby-soft and smooth. My out of town guest just visited her yesterday(after I raved about her mad skills) and Teresa sat there and custom-blended her a color for her fingers. You can’t get service like that at a strip mall! The mani-pedi is a complete indulgence; you have all of Teresa’s attention and skill while working on you. I truly believe there is no one better in Brevard. Teresa is a gem and I almost hate to rave about her because I’m afraid she’s going to be completely booked the next time i need a mani-pedi.
