I must say thys have upgraded their money a whole lot… enjoyed my meal very much. I would definitely start making future trips over here… it’s been a long time since I visited this establishment. And am glad I did. Loving this very much… keep up the good work Kellys!!!

The food quality is Okay. But there is something bad about how little the portions are for the high price. So its up to you if you want to spend a lot of money for good quality food but only have small portions, when there are better alternatives.

Like the corned beef sandwich and the burgers are pretty good. Prices in general are rather high(except for burgers) but it’s okay and is open late(the only very late night place in Medford) but to me, it’s just an expensive fast food/greasy spoon – and I have to be really hungry & have no other options late at night.

I had a bbq pulled beef and my boyfriend had a lobster roll. They were far beyond my expectation. The most tasty bbq pulled beef I’v ever had! My boyfriend said his lobster roll is also good. Even the sides, the corn bread and coleslaw were full of surprise, they were so yummy! It was a late raining night, this meal really brightened my night!

1lb of lobster on a small piece of bread. Need I say more? It’s a great local place right by the beach. Everything on the mine looks delicious and I’m sure it is!

Great place for lobster rolls, seafood(all kinds of fish, clams, scallops) and roast beef sandwiches. All prepared to order. Excellent quality but 4 stars not 5 as my only complaint is I will get a fatty/grisly roast beef occasionally.

Great for late night food! I have loved the fact that Kellys is open late many time! Absolutely a life safe after a late shift!

Kelly’s has great sandwiches and my husband really enjoyed the fried shrimp. It was a great lunch type place. A little on the pricy side for fast food but it is pretty delicious.

I came here for a special request from another Unilocaler. I have been hearing great things about his place. I was a bit overwhelmed by the menu as there were tons of stuff on it that looked enticing. I ended up getting the roast beef sandwich as that was the special request(it must be good, right?). It was good… But the cheese fries were much better. I think I will try a burger or cheese steak next time. Service was good, and fairly quick. There was ample parking. Three stars for now with potential for more later depending on other items I try.

I dread the day I’m pregnant and the hormones kick in and cause me to crave a lobster roll at 2am bcz heaven knows I’ll be driving over to Kelly’s to satisfy the hunger thanks to their drive-thru staying open until 3am. The service is always speedy and the food is pretty good. I almost always order a lobster roll since I first introduced myself to the place and recently I’ve discovered a new favorite: ice cream! A scoop of strawberry and coffee will run you about $ 2+ and it’s SOOO worth it. After the first time I tried their ice cream I called and asked if it was homemade bcz it’s creamy and has a very old-fashioned/homemade texture! Yummmmm! I’ve seen the reviews saying the lobster rolls are watery, fortunately I’ve never had to experience one. My most recent visit had a few bits of shells but that was ONE out of the FIVE I’ve eaten so far this season. Pretty good odds, considering. It’ll set you back $ 20 but once you taste those lumps of lobster claw with a hint of VERY little mayo you forget about price! My 2 gripes: The lobster roll portions have been shrinking lately and the onion rings are a bit oily, so I’m not fan. But for the most part this place is a-ok in my book!

In just a few years the food has gone down hill and up in price The fish sandwich today was awesome, but the forgot my pickle and they ruined the fries! I used to just order a bag of fried they were so good… now they look egg dipped and awful! Why? Go back to Original recipe! Or i am done as a customer… Medford Kellys! I will see i Saugus and Revere have stayed true and let younall know

The worst clam chowder I have ever had! Sure it had clams and some potato but it was served in white water. What was supposed to be a creamy and flavorful broth was super watery and flavorless. I found their prices for the clam plates to be way to expensive-$ 22. The chicken sandwich wasn’t terrible, but was less than impressive.

Contrary to other reviews, my roast beef was cooked perfectly. I ordered the surf n turf with onion rings. While I enjoyed the savory roast beef sandwich and the buttery lobster roll, I was put off by the flakiness of the onion rings. They tasted like batter.

Late night grub with hubby. Kelly’s is open till 3 am so it was a perfect choice to get some fried clams. The line wasn’t very long and the cashiers were friendly enough. We ordered a large roast sandwich, tuna melt(this isn’t in the menu but they offer it) fried clam bellies, and a side of cheese fries. Everything was so good. But I have a weakness for toasted buttered rolls. The roast beef sandwich was juicy and the meat was a nice pink. Not overcooked. The tuna melt was thick and piled on. We really enjoyed the sandwiches. The bellies were medium sized and were fried just right. Not greasy at all. They also offer free refills on their sodas. When we were ready to leave, the guy that wipes the tables and trays offered to clear off our table for us. Overall a great dining in experience. They also have a drive thru if you don’t want to eat there. Next time I’ll try the lobster roll but the roast beef sandwiches are what will get us to keep going back.

This is some good comfort food. It’s pretty basic stuff, nice and greasy but not so much that it makes you feel icky. They give you a ton of fries, I usually get the kids size because otherwise I am stuck with more fries than I know what to do with. Burgers, hot dogs, chili in the winter, yes yes yes. I tried the fried shrimp once and it was too heavy for me, too greasy. Somehow haven’t tried the roast beef yet, but someday. Parking is ok, there is enough here or nearby if their lot is full. Seating is basic, seems like enough.

Been going to Kelly’s Roast Beef since… I think I was 5? Maybe before? On this visit, just needed a quick roast beef hit before heading back to Texas. Service and food were top notch! Pricing? well… it’s not a cheap roast beef sandwich anymore, but it’s still better than anything at one of those fast food burger places. This was my first check in here in Medford, but I’d been to this location several times before. It’s great that Kelly’s keeps their quality in food, and service and people across all their stores!

I have been to Kelly’s Roast Beef in Revere in the past and thoroughly enjoyed the food there, so yesterday while passing through Medford we stopped at this Kelly’s location. When we entered this restaurant we were excited to see all the memorabilia commemorating the original Kelly’s Roast Beef and Wonderland Park. The smell pumping out if this restaurant was incredible, and the dining room clean and comfortable. The staff here was a little rude when it came to us ordering, but once we did order we got our food quickly. When it came time to eat our roast beef sandwiches, we couldn’t have been any happier. The roast beef was prepared perfectly and the rolls were delicious. It was everything we hoped to have in a sandwich. This location would have received 5 stars, hands down, if the staff was a little more present and a little more personable.
