Best Buy

I was in Richmond VA for a TurboTax business trip and took a camera I had just bought the day before from BestBuy. Unfortunately, my camera flash piece was malfunctioning and I needed to exchange it. I went to this location and I had one of the best experiences at BestBuy with the customer service representative. Not only was he extremely helpful, but he went beyond his job to tell me more about the surround sites in Richmond VA!

Top quality! I was very impressed my the spend of my malfunctioning camera exchange. The professionalism of the customer service rep was excellent. He did a great job explaining the process for an exchange and did the exchange quickly!

Price:
There must be a difference in tax between CA and CA, but had to pay $ 1.06 more for my exchange. This wasn’t the stores fault in anyway. The price of the camera I felt was fair!

I was blown away by the customer service here. I have never had someone this friendly in a CA store. Very impressed and will be using BestBuy for more purchases!

Walking into this store is like a crapshoot. You have a 50 – 50 chance of actually finding an employee who were actually talk to you without having to hunt them down. Apparently they profile their customers and if you do not dress to a certain standard they act like you don’t have money to spend. Highly suggest bringing your smart phone so you can do your own product research as most employees have no clue about product specifications.

Consistently friendly and helpful employees make this Best Buy stand out from the rest. The store is clean, organized, priced, and well stocked. I routinely take advantage of their price match policy (usually matching Amazon) and have never had a problem. I only take off one star for the receipt checking at the front door. Just say «no» and keep walking.
Tip: It can be very difficult to get out of this Best Buy and back onto Bell Creek Rd headed toward Rt 360. Instead of turning out at either end of the shopping center, drive around behind Noodles & Company, hang a left, go behind Cracker Barrel, and then you have a traffic light to get you across the non-​stop traffic on Bell Creek.

Went into Best Buy extremely annoyed because I had to make an extra trip to get a coax cable to connect my new modem after a really long day. As soon as I stepped into the vast TV department accessory area, Gavin was extremely quick to offer me some help (despite my probable under-​the-​breath raging while stalking into the department). He directed me to the correct location of cables, patiently looked at my modem diagram, and then reassured me that the cable that I had in my hand was the appropriate one. I went home set up my modem and it worked perfectly.

I can’t believe that this Best Buy doesn’t have a review, yet! It really goes to show you the state of social networking in and around Richmond. This Best Buy isn’t all that great, but it doesn’t exactly suck, either. Depending on which department you are walking into will determine whether or not you will be helped in a timely fashion. Sometimes, you might even have to walk around and just look for someone in a blue shirt and then walk them back to the section that you are actually looking for help. If you see a bald guy in a yellow shirt, he will most likely be absolutely useless to you. Even if you are walking around looking lost, HE WILL NOT COME TO YOUR AID. It was a sad fact that I had to learn, and now that I’ve learned it, I’ve come to terms with it. If it weren’t for the fact that this Best Buy weren’t so close, I would probably go to the one at Virginia Center Commons. actually I probably will go there next time.
Also, the website shows in-​store specials that are sometimes inaccurate because someone has already purchased the last specially-​priced item.
