Zales Jewelers

This was our second purchase with Aida, the last one last winter we had to return due to unforeseen circumstances. At that time, we met her for the first time, she was so very gracious, warm hearted and acted with the utmost professional courtesy, making us not feel bad the slightest for needing to return the item, which was much appreciated.
We then saw her on and off whenever we’d visit Tyson’s and would often say «hello» or wave at her when in a rush. She is consistently one of the nicest, most pleasant ladies one could ever meet.
Yesterday we bought a beautiful pendant after comparing prices and pieces at other stores. Again, she delivered consistently excellent customer service, and coming from a customer service background, consistency matters big time. Aida was so lovely as usual, is obviously a jewelry expert with great experience and a wonderful sales professional. We also consider her a cherished friend by now. Shopping at Zales in Tyson’s Corner is a sheer delight not because of the beautiful items but even more so, because of her. It’s the people that really matter. When I wear my lovely pink pendant, I shall think of her and send good wishes her way as I always do when encountering her, even in passing. As a previous reviewer mentioned, never, ever any pressure to buy, no pushiness, just a warm, welcoming atmosphere which makes one want to return again and again. Hats off and many thanks, Aida!

My fiancée and I bought our wedding rings here and Aida could not have been easier to work with. She invests time into each customer and is not pushy or impatient. For my order, she called me regularly with any updates or detail– something that made the last few weeks a bit less stressful! Highly recommend working with Aida!

I was in the store the morning of Valentine’s Day and Salesperson Aida Martinez was wonderful trying to help me find a charm for my bracelet my fiancée had bought that we had not put on (I could not find it and was trying to buy a replacement). She tried to help me find one and although there was not one in stock, she found his file, printed out the purchase information so I could find it and gave me suggestions. Although someone had come in, she offered to call a store for me, I finally said no and told her to go make a REAL sale since it Valentine’s Day. She was GREAT!

zales are the most fraud jewelers on the market. They made me sign up for zales card saying its interest free blah blah. I overpaid $ 1000 more at the end. Guys dont listen to these people. zales credit card is utterly pathetic credit card with high interest rate. They add insurance for me which is merely waste and charge $ 20 for which i never signed up for. The insurance company is fraud. Over all my review would be please dont buy from zales you dont get the value for what you paid.

First of all, the man who always helped me (long hair in braids, pretty eyes) is super nice and friendly. He was great. However, the chain broke on a necklace my boyfriend got me for Christmas — which by the way happened a week after I got it, but that’s not the store’s fault.
It took a month to fix the chain, which I thought would be a quick and easy fix. When I went back to pick it up, they couldn’t find it. They searched everywhere, even after my showing them the receipt, pictures, etc. I had to call my boyfriend and have him go through his old messages to figure out the exact time they finished fixing it. He was absolutely livid about the whole thing. It took me about 30 minutes of standing there waiting and watching them fail to find my necklace over and over again. Next time, I’m not buying from Zales, and I’m definitely not going back there again.

I have purchased various types of jewelry from Zales for myself and for other people. Mostly rings which I have always been happy with. Recently, actually last week I purchased a necklace. 14k white gold chain with an emerald pendent. I literally wore this necklace a total of 3 times before the chain broke in the middle, so in a non-​fixable way. There was no extra pressure or pulling on the necklace, I was simply laying down watching tv when it wasn’t on my neck any longer. I took it to another jewelry store since I was out of town and the owner told me fixing it would not last and suggested another chain since mine was «worn». Yea well it was worn for less than a week. I didn’t not purchase the $ 75 insurance on the necklace thinking it would last longer than a week. Zales generally has good prices but a lot of their stones are «lab-​created» meaning fake basically you get what you pay for.

I enjoy indulging myself once in a while and it’s hard to avoid stopping at Zales when those urges come. Their product selection is delightful and I’ve acquired several items throughout the years. Earrings are usually my jewelry of choice and they are beautiful here HOWEVER I will never buy them again from Zales and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I’ve never had problems with pieces from other similar jewelers such as Jareds.
PLEASE don’t ever buy earrings from Zales!
They are truly beautiful but the design of their earrings have a central flaw:
The EARRING BACKS SLIP slip off way too easily, especially on «thoughtfully» heavy (aka expensive earrings).
ZALES please please please fix this!
