I’m not much of a golfer, but I came here for my high school’s 10 year reunion and had no idea that the Mather Golf Course had a café with a full bar. Friendly staff, cheap drinks, clean, and it was the perfect venue for our reunion.
If you’re here to golf what’s not to like? Come here and grab a beer after (or before) golfing with your buddies. There is also a TV so seems like the perfect spot for guys day out. Golf, booze, food, then end the day relaxing and watching sports on their TV.

So can we talk? I like cheap lunches. I like reasonably good, respectful and polite service.
I like retired military people. So, I like this place.
In fact, it makes me miss the Cold War. What a happy and simple time it was ;-)
You can get a burger or basic sandwich for under $ 5. And for me, that’s perfect. With the extra cash, go pick up a Mather baseball cap at the pro shop in the same building. Cheapest lunch around!

If you find yourself playing a round at Mather GC you will find good food at a good price. They have sandwiches, burgers and breakfast. Ordered a fried egg, bacon and cheddar on sourdough breakfast sandwich at the turn and was delighted with the taste and price. $ 3.25 was a steal.
