My 5yr old daughter and I came strolling on a hot Martinez afternoon. She had wanted pizza and we had never been there before, but decided to give it a try. I asked if they had pizzas by the slice but they didn’t, so we ordered a small cheese pizza. We took a seat and waited. During that time, the lone worker who was there received an unsatisfactory call but she handled it like a champ. Next up was a disgruntled«regular» who gave her a hard time about sodas. Never once did she flash attitude. She was gracious and continued on with the tasks at hand. Two burnt cheese pizzas later, her co-worker and delivery guy came in and helped her out. They were both so apologetic towards us with the burnt pizzas and gave my daughter some cold water, made her a cheese pizza the next size up, and sent us on our way… with ANAMAZINGPIZZA. Having been in food service at a her age, I totally get it. Stuff happens. You can’t please everyone but she did her best to make things right. I also saw it as a lesson for my little one. Yes, I could have been angry, asked for my money back, and stormed out and gave them a super bad Unilocal review. But you know, what would I have shown my daughter? Besides, they owned up to their mistakes and did what they could to make things right.(Sorry if I butcher your name) Maisy – you are awesome. We have our good days and our bad days, but we move on and learn. I hope your day got better and that in the future, you remember that a smile and owning up to your mistakes goes a long way.

Pacifica pizza is not welcoming towards service teams. My service dog and I have been refused service. The receipt for my pick up order was already printed when CAROLTHEOWNER requested I take my service dog outside. She stated he wasn’t properly identified but was unwilling to allow me to provide her with his certification. She proceeded to say that she was allowed to refuse service. Seeing as the OWNER doesn’t know her rights OR mine… I will take the time to educate her and insist she do the same to ensure she does not cause the heart ache and embarrassment I was forced to encounter. Carol, I hope knowing this will ensure no one ever has to deal with discrimination in YOURPLACEOFBUSINESS going forward. I’ve ordered from here several times over the last few months and it just seems to have gotten worse and worse. Ordering for pickup might be a better idea as the one time I’ve done this everything was«ok». Ordering for delivery totally another story… they always say it will arrive between 45 mins to a hour but that’s never the case, the last time taking a hour and 30 minutes when I stay less then 3 miles away and frequently brought to my door cold and not even inside a pizza warmer that you see delivery guys use. I’ve ordered there wings on 3 different occasions and there good when there not burnt to a crisp. The only time they weren’t burnt was the first time when I ordered for pickup. 2nd time they were dark as night but I didn’t call and complain I hoped it was just a fluke. 3rd time again they were burnt and this was the last time I ordered from them when they took a hour and a half to get it here. So I did call and complain and asked the employee or whoever it was for some type of compensation. They offered me half off my next order of wings which is laughable(your saying you’ll give me half off a order of burnt wings). I haggled them into giving me a free order of wings which I’ll prolly never use as I won’t be ordering from them again. Teenage kids run the store and I’m sure the owner pays them very poorly

My ordered from this place on a wet and windy Saturday night. The pizza was GREAT! Big hunks of roasted marinated artichoke hearts and tomatoes. And they delivered! I ordered from them again and the pizza wasn’t as great as the first time, it was still good though. Chicken wings were good also. Delivery person and person who took my order were nice. I’ll order from them again.

I’ve ordered pizza from Pacifica multiple times, great pizza BUT the cooks or pizza makers can’t seem to understand the word LITE cheese, not that difficult guys, excuses every time, last 4 – 5 times I’ve ordered I’ve asked for LITE cheese cause my stomach can’t handle it, and as always I get the yes I’ll let them know or I’ll put it in the computer, and yet again it come swamped in cheese, last time I’m ordering from Pacifica pizza, sucks cause it seems like this is the only decent pizza in the area, oh well Simple LITECHEESELITECHEESELITECHEESELITECHEESELITECHEESE Thank you

I ordered a pepperoni & pineapple pizza as I do at most pizza places. The pizza was really tasty, but unfortunately the pizza crust was completely burnt and harder than a rock! I will try this place out again, but if I get burnt pizza then it will be a wrap.

Honestly, the best veggie pizza I’ve ever had!!! Ordered the gourmet veggie without tomatoes. Holy crap. I’m so impressed and hoping it was not just a «good day» for them.

Horrible over priced pizza. I am from Ohio and Little Caesars pizza for $ 5 has a better crust, more toppings, better sauce and better quality cheese. I ordered 2 medium one topping pizzas and cost me $ 36.99 plus driver tip. SAVEYOURMONEY! As a chef I Didn’t even want to give them 1 star and should be ashamed of themselves for overcharging…

Well… It was pizza, kind of. The toppings seemed to be fresh and that’s were the food complements stop. We got the cheese bread witch was not really cheesy or bread. The dough was not even close to being done. Also there was about 1⁄3 of the cheesy bread that had little to no cheese on it. On to the pizza… Same as the cheese bread not cooked all the way, you couldn’t even pick the piazza it just went limp. As for the staff and the delivery service, it was excellent but honestly who cares when the food is not good. Shouldn’t have been lazy and just went and picked up pizza at the front room for less money and way better food.

Chicken Wings, Pizza, and Lasagna, along with Fast Friendly Service! Oh and outdoor seating means pet friendly! Bottom line, this is my go to in Martinez! Oh and did I mention their Lasagna is super bomb?

Excellent pizza! Great crust, chewy cheese and rich toppings! I’m a harsh critic being from NYC, so while Melo’s gets my sit down biz, PP is delivering next time!

Best Pizza, Best Prices in town! Staff is always kind and courteous. Delivery is usually quick, even when there’s a game on or a big event in town. Greatest thing about this place? The owner’s actually work there! A small-town biz in a small-town! Love it!

I grew up on this place. I’ve known many people who’ve worked there over the years and it was never really great but a good pizza that was consistent. About 6 years ago(2008) I moved to Pittsburg and had to find a new local pizza spot. Every time I was back in town every so often we’d at least get some of the famous Pacifica breadsticks. If you’ve been around Martinez for a while you know the ones. The foil t brick of garlic parmesan sticks you could only get from Pacifica. Side note tho, a couple times we DID get pizza and sometimes it was really good, and sometimes it was really undercooked and doughy. But this review is about bread sticks. About a year and half ago I moved to Eureka Ca. and had almost forgotten all about Pacifica and their bread sticks. Recently I was back home in Martinez and thought he bread sticks! So I called down the street and ordered a large breadstick order. 15 minutes later I go down there to pick them up and they give me a pizza box. I was like WTF is this? There’s two pimply teenagers working there and they say this is what I ordered. cheesy bread sticks. I went on to explain to him what they’re supposed to be. Little sticks of dough coated in garlic butter and sprinkled with parmesan cheese then wrapped in big bundle in foil. He didn’t know what the fuck I was talking about but the other kid was like«Oh yea Chucky or whoever(who is an older employee that remembers the old bread sticks. I made up the name Chucky) made them once» Apparently this place has changed owners a bazillion times since I went there last and some moron thought that making bread sticks like every other pizza place in the world would be better than actually having a good and unique product. The kid was like«these are good I promise» and I replied«I’m sure they are, that’s why every other pizza place makes them this way» and left disappointed. They were good, but totally not what I wanted. Every bite tasted like lack of nostalgia. Maybe Marty O’s Pizzeria can put them on their«Martinez Classics» menu with the empanadas.

Pacifica Pizza makes a decent take-out pie for the hungry manufacturing plant crowd. I’ve enjoyed many a work-related lunch from here, with pizza boxes stacked all around to accommodate our crowd of hungry, yet picky fellow travelers. Do I remember favorite combinations? No. Would I pick up another piece when offered? Of course.
