Dia De los Tacos

Hired Dia Del Los Tacos for my company party today (Hewlett Packard Enterprise) and turned out really great. Food was awesome and everyone gave really great feedback. Guys were on time, organized, professional. Thanks so much to you guys for handling this for us and we will look forward to having you at our next event. Awesome Job!

Very tasty tacos and truly superior this far north. Especially good use of poblanos. The tortillas did have a tendency to fall apart. A great affordable lunch if you’re passing through.

we recently had Ray and Dia De Los Tacos cater my son’s 2^nd birthday party. Let me tell you, I am glad my homie recommended them. Professional, efficient, well priced, delicious! Ray and his crew arrived at my home the exact time he quoted. A quick walk thru of my backyard and they went to work. Set up, food prep, and delivery… all seamless. About 30mins before leaving, Ray and his crew gave last call, packed up all the leftovers, brought them into the house and clean up with quick. Thank you so much for the exact experience my homie told me about. We will be hiring Ray and Dia De Los Tacos again, as well as recommending to all my friends. YEE!

I never write reviews but Mike’s truck is top notch and has become one of my must eats when I come home to Marquette. Easily some of the best bites in town.

Any trip to Marquette without a stop at Dia de los Tacos is a missed opportunity. Easily the best tacos in town for both quality and quantity. Recommend the Little Miss Piggy (take all of the great individual tacos… and then combine them), as well as the Teri Lynn.

Awesome, gluten-​free fabulous food. We check their Facebook page to see where they’re parked. The worst thing about them is I have to order three different tacos, because I want three different kinds of their tacos. They’re all good. I haven’t tried a dessert taco yet, because I always want too many of the others.

The tacos from the brothers of Dia De Los Tacos were really good. They had a variety of seasoned meats served on toasted tortillas made fresh off a hot grill. The various salsas enhanced the flavors of each taco. I enjoyed every bite. The grilled jalapenos satisfied my craving for additional heat. The staff was very friendly and were very happy to serve everyone until they were satisfied. I’d refer this taco caterer to all my friends for all their outdoor summer events.

Amazing tacos. We found these in a bar the other night and they were absolutely delicious. Strongly recommend the Lola the Little Miss Piggy and the Carmen. These are served from a truck but they are delicious and are in par with any big city trucks.

Delicious. A bulk deal would be nice though as I could eat a ton of these things and it would get expensive, lol.

A Marquette Must! The best is when you find them at the breweries. The Salma is my personal fav. Made with chorizo. Just take a very close look at the menu before ordering and do not ask for substitutions or plain anything. Just try it, you’re going to like it!

Pulled pork tacos to die for. Only complaint I feel they are quite expensive for their size. I ordered 2 could have had another. So yummy!

Corn tortillas, pulled pork seasoned with cinnamon, abundant fresh cilantro and jicama slaw. A great find.

Awesome food. Everything is Gluten free and a vegan option is available. I eat here weekly, these guys are great. Go visit them and try some tacos! I am in love with all tacos on their menu but the Lola (chicken and beans) is probably my favorite.

The best tasting tacos I’ve ever had, by far. Much better than your typical food truck taco.
The Little Miss Piggy is highly recommended.

DDLT is the best of truck food. Not only is the food absolutely top shelf, but the people who work there are extra cool, super friendly, and all around great. There is a nice mix of veggie and non-​veggie options and the shells are gluten free (which is not a thing for me, but it’s great for folks who *need* that).
And their outpost at Ore Dock on the weekend evenings is pretty awesome too. If you want tacos, find this truck!

Mike and Terilynn have created such amazing food. I’ve tried both the pork and vegan tacos, and they were both out of this world. Now that they’ve got their truck running, you can find them in convenient spots all over town (especially after bar time!). The prices are super reasonable, and everything is made fresh.

Delicious pork tacos! I hear the vegan tacos are even tastier but that’s not my thing. I can’t wait until the truck gets on the road and they roll out the full menu. If only I can talk them into creating a pizza taco.
Best of all, it is a local business ran by some friendly and passionate people.
I have now tried the chicken and chorizo and they are tasty, too. Up next is the pupusa.

Marquette is becoming a great foodie town with a lot of old time staples as draws to the community. Dia de los Tacos will become a fast favorite for locals and tourists alike. As of now, you can find them at various locations for lunch (check their facebook or twitter for location updates) but it looks like the BP station, McCarty’s Cove, and Valle’s corner may become standard for lunches — with the Oar Dock Brewery on select evenings for that late night craving.
On to the food!
Four tacos are offered and are all very good. I was partial to The Colleen (a very flavorful pulled chicken). My wife leaned towards The Carmen — a spicey pulled porked pork which reminded her of porketta.
The other tacos available are a vegetarian (The TerriLynn) which had an excellent explosion of flavor w/​every bite — The poblano pepper made this taco-​and the Salma with handmade chorizo. All four tacos were great and very satisfying.
What made these tacos was the fresh additions. It was very clear that the vegetable toppings (radishes, onions, cilantro, etc) were freshly cut in the morning or even sooner. You didn’t bite in to a soft onion, they CRUNCHED! This was great.
I have traveled around the world and spent a lot of time in Mexico and would rate these tacos as good or even better as anything I’ve had in Mexico City, Veracruz, Monterrey, Chiuahuahua, or Saltillo.

Great tacos with meat (including pork!), vegetarian and vegan options. Their pupsas, a new menu addition, are light and flavorful. All-​around great food with quality ingredients and friendly, competent service. I can’t get enough of this place’s food. It’s a very welcomed addition to the community.
