I made an emergency stop at the store for the first time yesterday after my shovel broke and I had to stop what I was doing halfway through. At first I thought about driving over to Home Depot, but the 20 minute drive compounded with the 20 minute walk just to find what I was looking for did not appeal to me. Then I remembered that Ace is just right down the street! When I walked in, I was greeted by two very nice associates, who asked if they could help with anything. When I told them what I was looking for, one of them (I wish I got his name, but he had an awesome white beard!) took me over to the shovels, and asked me some questions to make sure I got the right one. He made sure I wasn’t wasting my money on something I would never use, and that I also got a product that would last. I headed up to the counter to check out, and the young lady who helped me was just as nice. I wish I wasn’t in a hurry when I went, as they had lots of really great products for all of the parts of my house! I will definitely go back soon to decorate my backyard, and for plants come spring time!

Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Reasonably priced although slightly higher than big box home improvement stores. But you can buy a single blot, nut or washer you need rather than a big box or package.

We recently bought a home just down the road from the new Ace Hardware on Delk rd. For the first few weeks I was back and forth to the store 3 – 4 times a day. The whole staff is friendly and eager to help. I bought a green egg from them too and they offer free delivery for bigger items if you live close. I am very pleased with them and happy to have them just down the street.

The prices are slightly higher then other places but they make up for it with customer service. The workers are always nice and respectful. So much better then the big box corporate owned stores when you need something small or need help.
