New salad bar ingredients. They are more contemporary. Meals remain passable. I had a pork chop which was cooked correctly so I have no complaint. Server was outstanding and manager seemed to care. Over all a nice experience.

Okay, so walked into the place yesterday to find a totally new salad bar and menu. Although three staff is still excellent and the bar is great, I doubt my friends and I will be back. The menu had changed to attract one specific group, women, between the ages of say 40 to 60. I am not in that group. The sales bar was horrid. They gladly boosted about adding 70 items to the sales bar. When 10 to 12 of those items are variations in vinaigrette dressing, well, I do not consider that much of an improvement. The chicken Sonora was blah. It was essentially a cheese soup with some chicken(5 pieces) and noodles which had not been completely cooked. The shrimp and grits had 5 shrimp in the plate, the grits had solidified and the whole fish was covered in some tasteless, oily gravy which contained unreadable sausages. BLUF: Sorry ruby tuesdays, I won’t be back.

I honestly do not understand why there could be less than three stars for this place. Let me give you a clear warning, I am far from a «chain restaurant enthusiast» but one thing I do enjoy is people getting the basics right and this is definitely what they do for me. Okay, so this looks like another Applebee’s or Chillis inside, so what! Okay, maybe their drinks are watered down unless you’re getting a Long Island ice tea, so what! Lol I come here for three things and three things only: 1. Their salad bar! I can always count on it to be fresh and have an endless amount of toppings and somehow I’m not sold on why I can’t substitute it for a side when I order my ribs but nonetheless the extra $ 3 is worth it. 2. THERIBS, do I need to continue? they’re tender, they’re saucy, they’re delicious, and all you really need is a half a rack. 3. The loaded mashed potatoes or fries. Now that would seem pretty simple, but when you stick all three of these things together and I get to unbuckle that top button in my pants and leave feeling mighty satisfied this place has an me over time and time again. Sure everything else is sub par but as long as their ribs, salad bar, and potatoes aren’t going anyway I’ll continually show up.

I was staying at a hotel next to the restaurant so I decided to stop in for a drink and a late night appetizer. The place was not real busy. The bartender was immediately attentive but the pour on the drink was really weak. The 4 way sampler was served hot and tasted good. Overall a good experience. Just seems if the drinks were a little stronger the business crowd that stays in the area hotels may stay longer.

I went to this particular restaurant a few weeks ago, because I received a few coupons for this location. The salad bar was amazing and they constantly changed out the greens(to be fresh). The waitress offered us biscuits, which were very sweet.(too sweet) I ordered the crabcakes which were terrible.(I am from Maryland so maybe I have high standards) Overall, the customer service was amazing and so were the drinks!

Decided to have ‘date night’ with husband of 25+ years here. BIG mistake! This was the absolute WORST service that I’ve ever had anywhere! Seated immediately but took 15 minutes for the waiter to take our order. Appetizer showed up after almost 30 minutes and 30 seconds later the entrees arrived. Our waiter said the kitchen messed up and he would have them refire our meals. It wasn’t the kitchen’s fault because the appetizer was stone cold(who knows how long they sat before he served them). Finally got our meals — ‘loaded grits’ were ice cold and hard and husband’s steak was raw! We never could get these problems fixed since we didn’t see our waiter again until he brought the check! We will NOT be going back. For better service I suggest you go to Hardee’s across the street!

I just ate there and watched some NCAA basketball at the bar this past week. I was a bit skeptical after reading the reviews; however, i had pretty good food and a big brew($ 1off after 9pm). The salad bar is excellent and I had it with the Coastal Trio seafood platter and a side of spaghetti squash. Great service and no complaints here. I stayed at the Drury Inn which is almost attached. Also go online for discount coupons before you go. I saved $ 5 off $ 15 purchase. Try it out!

Great customer service. The food is good and the bar tenders are on point. I just wish they had later business hours. Also wish they had a location in my hometown Macon Ga.

Super Bowl Sunday arrival(who does that?! my boss apparently) and the other restaurant we wanted was PACKED due to a meetup. Got bar seating and some drinks. Wait staff was pretty attentive and was able to turn up the volume on the game. Salad bar was standard. Got the ribs and chicken — oh MY, those ribs were TENDER. My only complaint was that there was a half inch thick layer of sauce on the meat. Scraped most of it off to enjoy the super tender meat. Chicken tenders were good. Standard. Average. If you need a place to eat — come by.

When here tonight, Sunday, around 6:30. Parking lot was slightly full, but got a close spot near the door. Greeted right away by 2 hostess as we opened the door. We sat in less than 1 minute about 5 ft from the bar. All seemed okay so far. Looked over nasty, sticky menus and just waited. I checked in on Swarm as soon as we sat, so I checked the time that happened. 9 minutes had gone by and no waiter or waitress came over. Waited another 3 minutes and still nothing. Within the 12 minutes we sat there, I saw 4 servers walk right but, smile at us and keep walking. Even the bad staff looked over. We literally sat another 2 to 3 minutes. Put our coats on and left. Hostess watched us walk out. Said nothing. We won’t be going to this Ruby Tuesdays anymore.

people skills badly needed. I recently visited this resturant a week ago with a friend and i gotta say… i was not at all pleased. first off, after being seated we waited at least about 10 mins before any server showed up, and after arriving, the bartender who was doubling as a server failed to introduce himself or say anything at all, and after being asked(by my friend) if he was taking our orders, he replied i got you while leaning in too close for comfort. In short, they forgot our drinks twice, my friend’s silverware was dirty and the resturant was cold. I will think twice or thrice about visiting this establishment again. :^(

The atmosphere is very dull but the people who work here are very cool. The food is decent and filling. They have very few drink specials and no food specials at all. The lunch & dinner menu are exactly the same! They must make their money off the salad bar because that’s the main item I’ve noticed people ordering. Stop in if you’re hungry but not for anything else. Ruby Tuesday has to do a better job at getting people in the door. They have nothing special to offer and the restaurant is too dark,

Do not stop here! Very clean, but wait staff and management need major help! Waited ten minutes to place drink order, waited five more still no drinks got up and left. Staff just standing around playing on their phones. 7÷28÷2014850pm

This place looks alright and Ruby Tuesdays are OK in general. WEAREEXTREMELYHUNGRY from a 12 hoir work day. But the server We have tonight is horrible I just Unilocaled what’s near and found cosmopolitan. Were on business staying at Drury Inn. And wanted to be able to walk over to a restaurant and walk back after a couple drinks. First greeted and sat down by the hostess but after she looks to be a manager due to her nice dress collared shirt. After being sat down We had to ask the same lady again who our server was after not being helped for 7 minutes. So once she told the server she Finally came out and got drinks and appetizers. We had questions wanted to order more drinks but she simply walked past us and so this point I went outside to see where exactly cosmopolitan was located. I guess during I was out she came by to drop the appetizer off and get ask about orders but I wasn’t there so my friend told her I’ll be back. When I came back she didn’t even come to the table at all. We had in our mind to order a shot and walk to the next restaurant after asking for the bill of course. We finished our appetizer and We didn’t even have the chance to order anything. Ebony as states on the receipt had the audacity to give us our check and We didn’t even ask! I was really heated!!! I never leave 1 star reviews I know it’s a business killer but for this occasion it was deserved. I have been in food service many years and know how hard it is and always take care of good service. After your manager tells you that you made a table wait that’s your que to make up ground and give that table exceptions service… this experience was such a joke I’m disappointed We didn’t get stopped on the way out telling us We were on a TVs show! Horrible out of town experience can’t wait to get back home… thanks Unilocalers for finding me a place near by!

My gut instinct told me that this place would disappoint me and I should’ve listened to my gut. One thing that strikes a nerve with me is that after waiting for close to 25 minutes without any type of verbiage indicating my food will be coming out shortly; another patron enters the restaurant and after a few seconds of perusing the menu and placing her to-go order, her food is ready in 10 minutes. Was it the fact that the owner practically knocked the bartender over to assist this blond woman from no where? Well shoot, next time remind me to wear a low cut dress so I can treated just as nice. The bartender’s personality was flat up until I asked her about the New Orleans Tilapia. She was lying when she said it’s the best and most popular in the restaurant. The only thing worth bragging about was the side order of rice pilaf. The tilapia was nothing more than a substance drowned in Cajun pepper. Now don’t get me wrong, I LOVE spicy food(see my review on Cajun Meat Company) but when all you taste is cayenne pepper and no food, uh… that’s a problem. I really wanted to order another drink but after I saw the bartender put a shot glass that was used for measuring drinks back on the bar after it had fallen on the floor, I changed my mind.

I was sleeping on this place. I think I found some cheddar biscuits that rivals Red Lobster. The truth right there, I tell you! However, the salad bar is aightttt, It may be the main attraction but for some sides, their mashed potatoes and asparagus was very good. They will cheat you on the entrée, meats. Some people feel they do not get their money’s worth. A good place to get a cool lunch(above McDonalds). It’s a notch above Applebees. I think on this level, no place rivals TGIF’s. Grade: B–

Whenever my coworkers and I are looking for something simple and easy for lunch, we oftentimes end up at Ruby Tuesday on Delk Rd. The main draw: Ruby Tuesday’s «Endless Fresh Garden Bar»(glorified name for their salad bar). At a chain like Ruby Tuesday, you know what you’re going to get. Their lunch menu is actually quite big with all sorts of classic American foods: soups, salads, burgers, sandwiches, pastas, steaks, seafood, chicken, ribs, and more. I’ve tried the ribs at another Ruby Tuesday location in Georgia and they’re not bad. At lunch with my office mates, I usually skip reading the menu and almost always order the salad bar plus turkey minis($ 8.99). The salad bar by itself($ 7.99) is filling enough, but for just one dollar more, you can add soup or minis(two sliders) and a side(fries, onion rings, etc.) to your order. It’s a better value by adding that extra food and if you can’t finish it, you can just take it home. The salad bar is stocked with generic items that are typically replenished regularly so the ingredients stay crisp and fresh. Salad bar items include lettuce, spinach, assorted field greens, olives, tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, sliced mushrooms, broccoli, shredded carrots, chopped bacon, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, broccoli salad, pasta salad, several dressings(including oil and vinegar), dark brown croutons, and sunflower seeds. It’s a good option for a quick, healthy meal. The beef and turkey minis are okay. Not much to them. Relatively new are Ruby Tuesday’s complimentary biscuits. These are small biscuits that come out hot from the kitchen and have garlic, butter, and other good stuff in them. You can ask for more, free of charge, if your table runs out. They’re good. Debra S.(«Debbie»), who has been working here for years, is a great server.

Yeah Ruby’s is a chain. It was one of the original«brass and fern» restaurants, and I am thankful to see the brass and ferns have gone the way of the dinosaur. Item to disclose: I once worked for this chain. In grad school, I made ends meet waiting tables Friday to Monday at Ruby’s in Greenville, SC while taking and teaching classes at Clemson Monday to Thursday. Waiting tables is back breaking work that makes you appreciate the value of teamwork and a hard day’s work. Having worked at Ruby’s for a couple of years, I would gladly dine at one. But one thing I learned waiting tables: don’t piss off your waitron. He or she sees your food before you do. I’ll leave it at that. It’s been several years since I’ve been to a Ruby’s. This one on Delk is the closest to us but is still several miles away, but we are not often near by, and it’s just easier to stay closer to home. However, we had to run by Team Ford to pick up the Wagon Queen Family Truckster after getting the airbag light fixed, so we were right in the area and opted to stop by. Additionally, we happened to have a coupon as well! The décor has changed from the brass and ferns of years ago. The place is open, airy, and decorated tastefully. The bar is in the center of the restaurant, but you run into the salad bar upon entering. Might not be the best spot for it, but I guess that’s how they want to run it. Although we didn’t get the salad bar, it appeared to have plenty of items to choose from. The menu has changed as well. Gone is one of my favorites: the teriyaki marinated sirloin. That item was a real pleaser! The menu has a nice mix of fish, chicken, and steak, but I will admit that the steak choices seemed rather slim. But there were plenty of fix items to choose from. I picked the Creole-seasoned tilapia with sautéed shrimp. It was one of the best fish dishes I’d had in a long time! My wife choose a chicken dish and was pleased but wished she’d gotten the fish. You get your choice of two sides with a dinner entrée, and the there are plenty of sides to choose from. I got sugar snap peas and mashed ‘taters. The kids chose the mini-burgers and the chicken fingers, both of which came with ample fries. Refills arrived quickly, and they even refilled my younger son’s chocolate milk at no extra charge. Most places charge for each chocolate milk refill. Maybe they normally do here, and we got off, but it was a nice perk either way. So yes, this is a chain, but I don’t think you’ll be disappointed if you attend. We went on a week night, and it wasn’t busy at all, but I cannot speak to what it’s like on weekends. It is a tad off the beaten path being on Delk Road, but at least it’s convenient to East Cobb.
