Every time I go here is order one of two things, the Grandpa’s Country Fried Steak breakfast or the Mama’s Pancake Breakfast. Every time they come out perfect and my server is always attentive and friendly. Just what I expect from this place.

I came here for a weekday lunch. Despite there being no crowd and being promptly seated, it took quite a while for anyone to come to our table. We watched several servers move about the dining room but no one even glanced our way. After my husband made a comment to that even, finally a server turned around and commented that she’d be with us shortly. Finally someone that appeared to be the manager asked if we had been helped and took our drink order. After a few more minutes, our server finally arrived to take our food order. When I asked what the soup of the day was, she wasn’t sure and had to go back to the kitchen to ask. It took a while for her to return but we were finally able to place our orders. The food came out in a decent amount of time but she brought mine before she brought my husband’s which was a bit odd, especially since I had only ordered soup. I don’t know why she didn’t just wait until both orders were ready. The food tasted good but the service left me less than impressed.

Worst service. We did not go during a rush will not be returning to this place. I travel a lot and the Crackle Barrel is one of my constant stops for vegetables but will not stop here again ever

When visiting the south, I thought what better place to go. Cracker Barrel. When in Rome, right? First thought upon arrival, all the rocking chairs on the front porch of the restaurant, love them! If I lived here I would definitely get a few rockers! They were around $ 100 each. To me nothing says country like a rocking chair on a porch! Walked in to a huge gift shop. Lots of cute & kitschy things. From clothing, to classic candy bars with the original logos… Hershey’s bars, tootsie rolls etc. The host was a nice young man, he was so nice. In fact everyone was. Southern hospitality is no lie! We were sat and given menus. Breakfast served all day, as well as other home cooked faves. I ordered breakfast and regret it. I’ve had better breakfasts, for sure. From what I hear their home cooked dinners are where it’s at. Darn it. One thing that’s for sure, you eat cheap at CB! I got pancakes, hashbrowns, sausage, eggs and milk for under $ 10. That’s a steal. I didn’t love that the milk was served in cartons(and they give you 2 of them.) Felt like I was in school. Bizarre. Anyways, most of my stars go for the friendliness and the gift shop. If I had a CB I would try an old fashioned dinner and probably rate them higher. But for now, 3 stars. It’s too much hype, I wasn’t wowed like I thought I’d be! Disappointed to say the least.

I like Cracker Barrel. Despite it’s racist history and undertones. It’s typically a friendly place but sometimes you get death stares by people who wish the South had won. Anyways, this one is one of those types. I have found some nice little trinkets in their country store side but the food is sub-par. Expect to wait 30 – 35 minutes for a table on a Sunday. I waited 35 minutes for a table of 1. The waiter was super nice. The coffee was not good, it was very weak. Not sure what happened this time because their coffee is usually very good. I ordered the old timer’s breakfast. It comes with two eggs, grits, biscuits, hash brown casserole, and a meat(turkey sausage). The hash brown casserole is one of my favorites but it was hard and not very warm. The eggs were fried super hard. The sausage was pretty good and so were the grits. I usually go to CB about once per year and unfortunately it wasn’t a good experience this year. Oh well.

Well, what can I say… I love my occasional trip to the olé Cracker Barrel and whilst here in Atlanta on business several colleagues of mine and I went over to the local Barrel for lunch. Generally my experience is pretty good, this time… eh. We sat down immediately and were greeted by a lovely server as we waited for the #4 of our party to arrive. Once he arrived we ordered. I, of course, asked for a basket of biscuits and cornbread to come to the table prior to our orders. One of my colleagues decided against a salad and instead ordered the Buttermilk Oven Fried Chicken breast and was told that it would take about 20min… We were all fine with that. Another colleague ordered the Country fried Steak, and I along with #4 ordered the chicken pot pie. Now, my first instinct was… since my colleague’s chicken will take 20 minutes, all of our food will come out at the same time– WRONG. All of the entrée’s came out except for hers. So, because we are gentlemen, we waited. First strike– bring out everyone’s food together people… seriously??? Well, once her food arrived we dug in. NOW– I sure likes me some chicken pot pie and I was surely excited to dig in until I dug in. I swear a puff of smoke rose from the driest chicken pot pie on the planet. There was no sauce? Did I let it sit too long??? YIKES. So, I sent it back and ordered the country friend steak, which of course arrived nearly as my guests were finishing. They enjoyed their meals though colleague #4 noted that his pot pie was very dry, he proceeded to eat it. NOPE– not me, if the food isn’t right it goes back. It’s my hard earned money and sorry folks– but I want it right. All in all, the experience was ok. The server was attentive and the refills on the drinks just kept coming. I can’t give it less than 3 stars because my friends did enjoy their food for the most part and most all of my visits have been better than this particular one when it comes to the food!

Dirty coffee cup Cold food Started out with one star but now they get one more star because the server handled the situation with the upmost professionalism and the manager came by to apologize. I still will not be able to return to this location ever again.

Nice country breakfast. Now already come up with calories count on some of the breakfast menu. Nice breakfast as usual. Good experience for those who like the taste of real American country breakfast

Service was poor. I was with a group of people and we decided to go to Cracker Barrel. We sat down and ordered quickly. Server was friendly. We waited for a while and after our food came to the table the server brought out bread. One in our party did not get his meal until we were all done eating ours. We asked a couple times about his food and were told they were working on it. We were surprised the server charged him for his meal since he had them box it up to take it home(everyone else was all done and we were getting ready to leave by the time his food arrived). We flagged the manager down and he corrected the problem but if we hadn’t, no one would have addressed the issue. The same individual did not get his drink refilled until we specifically asked. Really surprised by the service. As for the food, it was just okay.

Horrible experience. Won’t be going to Cracker Barrel for a while. Greeting by our server was very delayed. Temperature and quality of food was very bad. My daughter couldn’t even eat her breakfast due to the taste. I informed server everything was cold and gave back part of my meal because it was cold, and she«graciously» removed $ 1 from our bill. I paid for my meal and informed the manager about our experience and all he did was apologize. We also over heard another table complaining about cold food. This is the 2nd bad experience at this location. Very disappointing«customer service» has come to this.

Service was too bad. I guess when they swept the floor the broom straw and trash is stored under the table I was sitting at. One side of my peach topped pancakes were perfect the other said had a onion taste to it. I guess the grill wasn’t cleaned or the spatula was used in onions. Waitress finally refilled my water after I was almost done eating. Small things they need to work on

Just visited Cracker Barrel and I asked Lavette twice to give me soft biscuts. She brought me hard biscuits and my corn was so cold. Pls managers help them improve with giving customers fresh biscuits. I always visit this place but I am so disappointed for my experience today. My trout was delicious but the corn, biscuits, and beans bad experience

Once again I came to this ghetto, unprofessional and horrible cracker barrel of all time! To go order pancakes greasy as a container of Cisco! Looked as tho someone took a piece of my ham ams the eggs weren’t done over hard as I asked! The togo person is constantly asking for you to repeat your order because the workers are always yelling on the background… worst place ever! !!

Got to try their country fried steak dinner with fried okra, collard greens and mashed potato. Split the entrée with my boss and it was the perfect size for me. Everything was decently flavorful and my boss likes to come back when in the area. I love wandering around the front store though, so many little things to check out! Takes card. Always parking available. Service is usually pretty good.

So we are an hour early for a work-related meeting. What to do? What to do? Hey let’s go make fun of country people at Cracker Barrel. Wow, was I wrong. What country people? It’s been at least fifteen years since my lardy-self has graced one of these roadside attractions, and maybe it will be fifteen more, but the restaurant isn’t why. If you’ve been to one Cracker Barrel, you’ve been to all of them, and by that I mean consistent in style and service. The food was never anything to write home about, but who writes home about anything anymore? We complain on the intArwebZ because we didn’t like the server’s hair-style. I fully expected to see Marietta’s finest perusing the stereotypical menu, and what do I find? A bunch of hard-working dudes just like me, all looking for a consistent breakfast to fill our tummies. Yeah, the food isn’t twelve-star Michelin, but if you expected all those stars, then you stopped on the wrong exit off of I-75. You are looking for Casa del Waffle(you know, the Latino one) and have expectations far superior to anything I can type about on this-here Unilocalervision. Pancakes were good, gravy was better, but trust me when I say don’t combine the two until the bathroom trip later on. It’s for your own protection. Server was above par, and made some witty banter with us «city folks» which soured my quest for Deliverance. Alas, the hunt for stereotypical country people isn’t in Marietta, Georgia, and it certainly isn’t just off a major interstate.

I am from San Diego. I was in Atlanta so I THOUGHT I would get the best of the best from CB. NOT! Service: My iced tea was empty most of the meal and I couldn’t get anyones attention. Food: I’ve eaten at several Cracker Barrels around the country… this was the worst. Corn Bread had a weird taste. Biscuit was extremely dry. Okra was ok, but cold. Staff: They were SUPER kind and friendly. This is what saved them from a single star.

Me and the cuz ate here some time ago. Believe it or not, this was my first time ever eating at Cracker Barrel. They have some good food. Forgot what my cousin ordered but I had the catfish with grits along with some biscuits and hushpuppies. They give you quite a bit of food at a decent price. The servers do a good job in checking with you to make sure everything is okay. While I only had one meal, it was a good enough impression for me to return. I’ll update the review after I’ve had more items on the menu.

I only come to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Specifically for pancakes which are really good. And relatively cheap compared to other places in Atlanta where for even more money you don’t get eggs & bacon/sausage like you do at Cracker Barrel. Again…pancakes are great. The smoked sausage is just ok and nothing too special with the eggs. Food came out quickly after we placed our order. Service wasn’t bad, but I felt as though the server was trying to get us seated, fed, and out the door. But she wasn’t too pushy. This is my go-to breakfast spot on weekends when I don’t feel like being bougie and going to a pricey place in Atlanta.

To sum up my experience here during the second day of Snowmageddon… disappointing. Attentive service, but subpar food. Went with the Country Fried Breakfast: chicken fried steak, grits, biscuits, gravy, and hashbrown casserole; 1 bite in, I wished I hadn’t. Unsure if the biscuits were stale, or the«heat & eat» variety, but they were crunchy on the outside and doughy on the inside. The hash casserole was somehow dry, and had hard bits all through it, as if they’d scraped the burnt edges from the sides of the pan. Grits were actually pretty decent, and the CFS, while extremely underseasoned, did the job. I stopped here because it was the only place open for 3 miles, and likely won’t do so again.

Great place to come early in the morning. They serve very good breakfast. At times, they are very busy but service has always been fast as they always take care of me. It’s very convenient to get to from the Interstate 75 at exit number 261 which is the Delk Road exit. I never have a problem parking and they even have parking got recreational vehicles like most Cracker Barrels.
