Johnny’s New York Style Pizza & Subs

Great pizza and service at this location of this local chain. Had a large cheese pie and large Greek salad shared with the family. Like that they cook the pizza to the point where the cheese starts to get crispy and bubbly not just melted.

Great place, has the old bar atmosphere. Service was good. Ordered a slice, came out hot and delicious.

Wanted a pizza with pepperoni on ²⁄₃ of the pizza and they said it wasn’t possible. I have one cheese pizza eater at home and just wanted to get a pizza that would satisfy everyone. I would have even paid for the entire pizza to have pepperoni and leave it off the entire pizza. Pretty stupid to deny a paying customer such a simple request.

I think Johnny needs to go back to New York and get some tips on how to make a authentic style NY style pizza. They really hold back on the toppings. Not worth the price for what you get. Domino’s gives more toppings.

Johnny’s Pizza on Canton Rd in Marietta has great pizza and other food items. Staff is very friendly and service oriented. Prices are also very reasonable. Give it a try.

Johnny’s Pizza on Canton Rd. is a great place to eat. Not only is the pizza really good but all their food is incredible! Their restaurant rating has been 100% A+ for quite a long time so you can be confident that your order will be prepared under the cleanest conditions. Probably best of all is their staff, all of whom are there to make you feel welcome, comfortable, and deliver your food promptly! I’d highly recommend Johnny’s on Canton Road.

Come here every Monday for lunch with my coworkers. It’s difficult to beat the lunch specials here! I always get the two slice combo which is two one topping slices and a drink. If you ask for your slices to be «lightly baked» they come to the table quicker. Awesome staff, awesome lunch, awesome place to eat!

Your low price, buy pizza by the slice leader off of Canton Rd. $ 2 beer as well…
They have a feta cheese appetizer that is a good value also. They will customize to any order.
Friendly staff… A great place to stop in a pinch if you want a quick lunch or dinner.

I honestly can’t see what the attraction is for the pizza here. Average at best. My husband ordered on with onions and the onions were so strong on it that we couldn’t eat it.
I’ve ordered a couple of other items from here (some of their pasta dishes) and they aren’t memorable at all. There’s nothing special about this food.

We’d been going to this location of Johnny’s fairly regularly for the better part of six years for our quick pizza fix. One day, we called to place our order ahead of time (like we usually do) and after ordering a large pie w/​toppings, I asked if it was possible to get ziti with marinara sauce (they have a spaghetti w/​marinara and they have baked ziti, so I thought it would be a simple substitution of pasta shapes). When the girl that answered the phone asked someone in the kitchen (cook, owner, who knows?) if they swap could be made, I could clearly hear him yell at her «No, they can’t f*&kin’ have ziti! It’s f*&kin’ spaghetti and marinara!» The girl said «okay, okay, calm down», then must have placed her hand over the phone as I heard some muffled yelling that I couldn’t make out. She came back on the line a few seconds later and said that they couldn’t make the substitution and asked if I wanted the spaghetti instead. At that point, I said no and asked her to cancel the entire order and told my husband that we weren’t going back — ever. One, there was no need to scream at the girl about my order like that when I can hear it. And not being able to make a simple pasta substitution? If ziti were ten times the price of spaghetti, I’d completely get it. In fact, I probably would have paid a dollar or so more if they had told me I had to. But to shut down a simple request like that? Not good service and not someplace I’d want to spend my money at.

Great place for a pie or a slice and a salad. Good food good prices and a fun local joint.

The blinds were drawn, it looked dark inside … but when we walked in, we saw the place was packed with people. A good sign!
While I don’t think the pizza measures up to other places, it’s not half bad — and I would return. (The crust was a bit too crisp for my taste.) We also ordered a mediterranean salad which was loaded with goodies, and really hit the spot.
The people who work here are accommodating, beer and wine is pretty cheap — all in all, it’s a good place to watch a game, grab a bite, and visit with friends.

5.95 lunch special that includes 2 huge slices pizza with one topping and a soda OR 1 slice/​1 topping and a salad with a soda. Best deal around. The pizza was really good.

This Johnny’s (and I have visited a few) won’t surprise you. For good or bad. Yes, the décor is a little tired and it’s in a strip mall, etc. BUT, the wait staff and cooks are very accomodating and NICE. You know how sometimes you just want someone to work with you and at least pretend they care? Well, the night we were there that happened and we must have gotten at least five sincere «Thank you for coming’s» as we walked out after a very nice, solid meal. Not the best pizza in the area but it grows on you and in Cobb I might start ranking it right behind Mellow. Go to this restaurant if you are in the area. If you have the same team in there when you go as we did, you won’t be disappointed.

Johnny’s is awesome. This is some of the best pizza around and we eat here all the time. The pizza is great and the service is great too. Never had an issue here with anything.

Noticed this place when I went to register my car. Stopped in the next day and had the best meat lover’s pizza I’ve had since moving here a month ago. Definitely recommend it to others. Can’t wait to try the calzones

This Johnny’s seems a little like a «hole in the wall» place, but don’t let that detour you. Give it a try, it’s great! The pizza is some of the best around this area. Also love the calzones. Oh and try the garlic knots as an appetizer.
Johnny’s is laid back, family friendly and a great place to grab a good meal.
