Decorating Mart

I have bought from Decorating Mart on a couple of occasions. They have a great selection of fabrics, trim, and wallpaper at an extremely good price! The staff is always pleasant to deal with as well. Shirley is one of my favorite sales people there. She always has creative ideas. Their new space on Canton Rd. is laid out well and very bright, so you can see what you are buying.
I would recommend this place to anybody who is looking to redecorate!

We were in yesterday. I am familiar with Decorating Mart and didn’t realized they had moved locations. The new location still has great fabrics, reasonable prices and friendly staff.
The fabrics were modern, relevant and we also found some very unique. The space is open, bright and clean. No rummaging through piles or stacks.
Overall, I think fabric stores are going to have to learn to compete with the internet as a lot of fabrics we saw were on the internet at $ 3 – 4 less per yard. Not a big deal if you are buying a couple of yards, but it can make a difference if you are buying more than that.

I’m in a mood.
All I need is some trim.
For my Chanel-​esque jacket that I’m having custom made for my birthday.
And no one seems to be actual be open during the hours they say they are going to be open.
Must I drive to ‘the city’ to get what I’m looking for!!!
This is why ITP’ers make fun of OTP’ers and talk trash about us.
I drove here on Sunday as well — and they had a paper sign on the door saying they were closed for Father’s Day. I was actually already in the area (see Fabric & Fringe review) but this is actually the third time I’ve tried to visit this store since they’ve moved — and each time the store has been closed even though the hours posted on the door and vmail greeting would have you believe otherwise.
Also — all the lights are on — they’re tube fluorescent lights — but so what?
Stop wasting energy people.
ANd I’m going to stop wasting my energy driving to your store to try to give you business.
