Small shop, but great selection. Prices are fairly reasonable considering they have a built in clientele with all the large buildings nearby.
The workers are always friendly and cheerful. They seem to remember their customers, which is nice. The wine tastings on Friday night are really fun with no pressure to buy anything. Though we’ve definitely bought and enjoyed new wines as a result of the tastings.
Overall we’re really happy to call this our local wine shop.

Not only do they have a great selection of wines, but the staff is fantastic! Each one says hello every time I walk in and they are also ready to open the door for me as I arrive. They remember the wines I have liked in the past (and I’ve been shopping there for 2 years) and they give great recommendations when I want to try something new. They are reasonably priced and I’ve never had any issues, and they deliver very quickly. Love this place!

I’ve only been here once, but I plan to start making this my go-​to wine shop.
The store is clean, bright, well organized, and easy to navigate. It’s a very small space but you don’t feel that when standing inside. The workers are super nice and friendly — when I picked out my wine, one of them said to me, «You look like you know a lot about wine!» (Maybe he says that to everyone, but it sure made my chest puff out a bit.)

We are so happy that they arrived and are staying around through the construction nightmare here. Plenty of chilled choices for the impromptu weekend brunches and a overall large selection well arranged. Real nice folks and prices similar to Ehrlich’s and lower than 67th St.

This review is based on their single malt whisky selection.
Apart from the usual single malts, of which they have the name brands like Macallen, Glenlivet, etc. They had an Indian brand, Amrut which is unusual. I haven’t tried it, but it’s good to know that West End Wine & Spirits carries it.
I spoke to one of the staff about Japanese whisky and he said that he was on the waitlist to carry one of Suntory’s brands (not Yamazki). He didn’t remember the name, but by my estimation it’ll be either Hibiki or Hakushu which are the other major brands for Suntory. If they get one of those two, I’ll def be back to snag a bottle.
Pricing is a little on the high end here, so even if they’re close by, I’d still go to Beacon to get the common scottish whiskys since their prices are a good $ 5 cheaper.
I hope they continue to stock up on more single malts, but as of now their selection is somewhat limited and generic.

I love this store. It is just perfect. Incredible service and good cheer. Amazing selections and what they don’t have… they will get for you in a day or two.
I found an organic wine there that they recommended that is my favorite…
Don’t bother going anywhere else in this neighborhood. They are the best…

Never really was a loyal wine shop customer — but the staff here is very helpful and gives excellent recommendations. They hold the door open as you walk in and when you leave and assist you the entire time. The selection is pretty big and they have a variety of price ranges to help narrow your selection — usually I get overwhelmed, but they made it very easy :) I know I will go back!

Its the closest wine/​liquor shop to my apartment, so I kind of want to give it four stars. Its like a closet, but they try to get as much as they can in there. I’ve never asked for help with anything, but they’re very polite and always hold the door (no, really, there’s a guy who just stands at the door to open it for customers). Its pretty pricey, but its on West End, and you kind of pay for convenience out here.

Not sure who the guy is that says best wine selection in town… must be an employee…
The place is new small but nice. Selection of spirits is limited but they have the basics.
I didn’t have a cold white wine Saturday evening (6:00pm) so I rushed down to get a bottle and use the quick cooler they advertise. Turns out it wasn’t turned on and it would take 40 minutes to get going! I said what good is it to have one and not turn it on — he said when its cool outside (it was low 70s) they don’t turn it on! I told him to keep the bottle I could cool my own in less time than that and told them they are going to lose business this way. He just shrugged his shoulders and didn’t seem to care. Not a good way for a new business to build clientele. But it is s convenient I’ll go back sometimes.

Happy to have them in the area. Delivery is quick and staff is very nice.
