TD At 260 PARK AVE SOUTH may be the worst BANK EVER!!! I HAVE A LOT of money between Ameritrade and TD Bank. So since I work near this branch I am forced in… THEY” RE WORSE. 3 times I had a meeting with manager to sign some paperwork LATE EVERY TIME SHE WAS AT LUNCH!!! I had to keep coming back and make myself available on her schedule.
Every time I go in MANAGER HAS POW WOW around her desk with cronies laughing not working…
I ask if they could FAX 5 sheets of PAPER My ACCOUNT from BANK — NO! only if its going to other branch she doesn’t want to get off her fat ass. TD makes it easy — NOT AT THIS BRANCH IT DOESN“T!!!
This branch and lazy ass people like her are what give banks a bad name…
Go to Spring Lake NJ branch they bend over backwards… hell fax it they would hand deliver it if you asked…
THIS MANAGER AND HER STAFF NEED TO WAKE UP THEY ARE ON PARK AVE!!. I seriously want to close my TD AMERITRADE ACCT AND MOVE TO SCWAB because of this branch. I know 3 people in my office that shut their accts there and moved to Chase next door. When bad service at a bank becomes fodder around your office you really know just how shitty it is…

I started a small non-​profit, 501©3 organization, run entirely by volunteers. I opened our business checking here, after being assured we were opted out of «overdraft protection.» (Search it, giant class action lawsuits against TD for this practice.) I was assured we’d have no overdraft protection. Fast forward 11 months later, our statement comes and we’ve been charged $ 210 in overdraft fees as charges weren’t denied when they should have been. $ 100 overdrawn on accident (my persona; Mastercard had been hacked and replaced, so backup business card was charged by retailers, unbeknownst to me) and $ 210 in fees, which I had been assured would not happen. 27 minutes on hold to get a TD phone rep, they said I’d need to go to the branch I opened the acct at, and it was the managers discretion if I get fees refunded. Of course, the manager is behind the curtain like the Wizard of Oz. After a 40 minute wait, I meet with Kaitlyn, one of the winged monkeys, who tells me as we have a business acct, so overdraft is standard. (None of the literature on an acct says this.) I explained over and over I did not HAVE overdraft — she spoke with manager, Dorcas Asencio, who could not offer us any credits. (A total lie from what phone rep told me.) I was told they wouldn’t let me opt out of overdraft for any reason, as ‘we might need supplies sometimes.’ They stole $$$ from a needy non-​profit. Account is now closed, which came with a side order of snark.

Good location, beautiful space, great technology, but the staff needs a little more training on customer relations/​service. I had an issue with my account and had such a terrible experience with a phone agent, I decided to walk into the bank to close all my accounts (3 in total). I explained to him that I needed to close my accounts. I was not upset, but had just had enough. There are some silly fees and the service misses the WOW factor. I went in on the day that I had the phone experience and the gentleman who tried to help me seldom speared me two glances. Never asked why I was closing the accounts, what could he do to make it better, no questions asked. He just kept his eyes on the computer screen. That in itself is not a huge issue, but being in the service industry, I tend to notice areas where companies fail to retain their customers by missing the simplest details. I guess my money was not necessary to the banks existence so hey… Anyway, because of pending transactions on two of the accounts, I could not close them on that day and had to go back two days later. The agent on my second visit DID ask why I wanted the accounts closed and I responded, «There are too many fees». I didn’t want to get the phone agent in trouble, so I didn’t mention the situation at all. She simply said OK, but like my encounter two days before, she seldom looked my way or tried to engage me in any way. It would make sense for they brand to train the employees to be more people’s people to manage a level of engagement with their customers as well as keep the customers that they already have. Competition is stiff and to be better than the rest, you have to hit all the ‘WOW’ points.

Extremely rude and immature tellers, who roll their eyes at you if you gently ask for some change. This branch provides a stark contrast to the bank’s ad campaign which proclaims this to be the friendly bank alternative.

They have the new, fancy ATMs here! It’s also convenient to 14^th Street & 8^th Avenue.

Great TD Bank, and it’s new, so it has those fancy new ATMs.

I came in here Monday after losing my ATM card and a metroCard. I saw a Customer Service Representative right away. I asked her about getting a replacement card. I got in within 5 minutes. I also asked about perhaps cancelling or stopping a payment in process for the most recent payment on the metrocard but she said it could not be reversed. Oh well.
