Anywhere that sells me shoe polish and a brush at 9pm on a Sunday night because I’m in the mood for polishing my brogues gets 4 stars

I hate this store, the management and everyone who works there. They are INHUMANE!
I am a longtime, very serious spender at this location and I am at the moment too ill to walk the (1) block to the store to pick up just 3 items for a very serious stomach issue: bottle of Coke, Pepto Bismol and box of saltine crackers. I called the store to ask if one of their employees could kindly deliver those items to me and I’d pay cash and give a big tip. It probably wouldt ake a total of 5 minutes!
They all said, «No.» The salesperson, the manager… «no.» This is a place that supposedly sells items for sick people?!? But if you are really sick, they don;t give a damn,
Well, I am ill, sweating, in pain, dizzy and feel faint. I will now try to get to the store myself as it is an emergency. If I drop dead, I hope it is in their store. I will, in the future, walk an extra block to another pharmacy in order to never give them my business again.
I also plan to contact the corporate office and express my extreme displeasure at their position. The manager had the unmitigated gall to tell me he cannot send an employee out of the store. So… If I get hit by a car in front of their store, they will all look out he window as I bleed to death? What has happened to our culture?
Angry? I am so much more than angry I could spit. This is not the end.
WTF happened to human decency and caring for your neighbor? Obviously, not a policy at RITE-​AID. I suggest no one ever shop there again. YES, that’s how angry I am.

I’ve encountered the same issue as other commenters here — different prices at the register than listed on the shelf. This has happened on multiple occasions: a candle which rang up for $ 10 when it was priced at $ 6, a pack of diet coke that ended up costing $ 2 more than listed. The couple times I’ve actually caught it and said something before swiping my card, staff seemed put out and annoyed (maybe because it happens fairly often?), which just makes me want to go back even less!
2 stars because it’s 24 hour, which has its uses, but you have to watch this place like a hawk. I now make a point to go elsewhere unless I’m in a desperate rush or it’s an odd time. Sort it out already!

Came here during pride because i needed new headphones. Its clean in here & everyone was friendly. No complaints over here

It’s happened to me few times
On display they have 1 price by the time I come to pay the price in the sistem change. Few times I was on rush so I couldn’t stay to prove
One time I have proov (I took my time go back to the item to take a picture of the item and the price) but the cashier told me I’m looking for the wrong product, which I didn’t.
Today I got a a spring water on the display price was $ 1.39 but when I was about to pay the sistem change me $ 2.00.
This time I took my time went back Again took a picture of the whole shelf. To proov that something make no sense. … the cash I think her name was Rumi she take her time went all the way to the self, check the price, spoke right away with her manager and refund me the money.
I leaving 2 star’s and not one only bc of the cashier.

Rite Aid ACTUALLY SUCKS– which explains their stock price. They have a food shelf with premade sandwiches from this company called «food» for like 6 $. Ok fine. The prepackaged sandwich looks fine in the from but when you open the sandwich up and open the bread theres no meat in the back of the sandwich (egg salad, tuna salad, etc); i stopped buying that brand. They had this other brand of hero sandwiches which were $ 4 and they were LOADED with meat, even my roomates were saying get those heros late night if your hungry dont buy those sandwiches made by that company «food». Now what does Rite Aid do? Discontinue those heros and replace them with heros from «food» for double the price and ½ the ingredients.
Rite Aid more sucks because everything they have on sale is what nobody ever wants. Every time I buy something on sale there the product sucks.

Terrible customer service from both the cashier and the manager. They refused to honor the advertised price for an item, borderline abusive. Other locations of Rite Aid are fine;this one is consistently terrible-​and don’t use the pharmacy, they are as slow as you can imagine, never filled prescriptions on time

Cashier refused to sell me beer because I did not have a «valid» ID. (new policy)
I am a senior citizen! I showed him my senior metro card with my photo. He refused
to accept that. Just kept talking like a robot about their policy. I called for the supervisor and she also did not want to accept my senior citizen ID from the MTA. Supervisor said the card had to have my birthday. Duh! you have to be 65 to get this card. Then the supervisor asked for my date of birth. I told her. Now I was really angry and about to leave, but then the supervisor finally sold me the beer. I will NEVER purchase beer from this Riteaide again and I live nearby.

This place got a MAJOR renovation job. More isles and more products. Customer service is good and bad at times and the lines can get long. I haven’t had a problem since they redid the entire store.

This place is the worst. Please stay away at all costs.
I live in the neighborhood and was forced into going here after Duane Reade stopped taking ExpressScrips last year.
The place is dirty and the checkout line is AT LEAST 15 minutes long, no matter the time of day. As for the people that work there — I know you hate your job, but that’s really not my fault. Taking it out on me is not productive.
Thank goodness DR started taking my prescription card again. I live directly across the street from Rite Aid, but will be hauling my butt north just to stay away from this place.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh… Groooooannnnnnnnnn
The line is FOREVER. There is never more than one person working the counter, and they are indelibly some poor, beleaguered sot who gets yelled/​snarled at by everyone in line.
The store itself is a warzone. I don’t know how they stay there. I can’t count how many times I’ve seen people throw their groceries into one of those candy bins and stomp out.

It’s hard to say if this Rite Aid is better or worse than a Duane Reade would be, but consider:
1) I once heard an employee reveal to another that someone had just «dropped a deuce» IN A URINAL in the bathroom.
2) There are usually 1 or 2 cashiers working, while 4 more stand around not working, while the line grows comically long.
3) The pharmacy worker appears to be a 16 year old emo kid whose disaffection makes the Clerks guys look like employee of the month candidates

This review was a long time coming. I’m not the only one to leave this drugstore in search of cleaner, nicer always stocked selection at the Duane Reade a couple blocks north. Outside of the crappy personality of 90% of those who work here, see for yourself they are NEVER stocked.
Unfortunately this was the only option in the WV. Now what happens when you have an unprofessional staff is that consumers like me, on principle take their business elsewhere…
One of the women who I can’t imagine is nice to anyone except men is about 4″ tall, long nails french manicure and a demeanor to match the taste of such attachments. Don’t women who aren’t that attractive get if you are sweet everyone sees your beauty but when you are nasty the light gets harsh, you look like the overweight highlighted drowned rat with nails that you are…

I approach (smiling but learned my lesson about saying hello to her, being nice to this sort makes them even nastier):
Dirty look as I put down my things, no hello no good bye– just hating. One time I asked her if she handed me my change not realizing I had charged it and she started with the neck movements and screaming — insecurity to match her inward ugliness I guess. but here is the kicker. …one day she is acting all giddy smiling at me from far away and saying hello, here I thought wow, after seeing her for the past several years with not one kind experience — could I have been wrong?
She says: OH um hee hee ah hee hee, I was wondering are this athlete’s gf (being of fame) because ha sista was tellin me dat you live in the area and the dascription matched you.
Me: Um no, I am not married.
Her: Oh, back to the nastiness, and I“m not kidding.
Don’t even get me started on the hispanic male at the register who is defensive when you tell him anything is on sale, Um, those are 50 off, no dey aint not if dey aren’t marked, Nice, hey genius, is it um possible that your staff just didn’t mark them?
News to Rite Aid, the economy will dictate the quality of your staff and its time for this location or them to gooooooo
to Duane reade that is… take a clue, well trained staff no stupidity or star worshipping get over it and out of the ghetto
