Nitro Lounge

Went here with a couple of friends and were disappointed. Its so small and the «dance floor» is filled with tables, so there’s no space to dance.

I’ve been here a couple of times and i like this place because it’s different from a lot of the clubs uptown. For one the entire club is white from top to bottom including the moving lights. The one bad thing about this place is the music. Awful reggaeton music is what’s in now and every club uptown plays it. To make things worse I’m convinced they have a set playlist because I hear the SAME SONGS uptown constantly. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the 3 english songs I hear constantly no matter where I go are
1. Jay-​Z — «I.Z.Z.O»
2. Bell Biv Devoe — «Poison»
3. I forgot but i’ll update once I go back uptown, lol.
I would brush it off but none of these songs are recent and they only one’s in English and being that I don’t know Spanish these stand out and I find myself saying «There’s no way… I just heard this at the other club yesterday!»
The music is awful but I’ve yet to find a DJ or a club uptown that has been able to impress me with his song choices.
They have this dry ice effect thats really cool, and confetti drops from the ceiling. I found it kind of annoying but it made for a cool pic.
(As a guy) The best thing about Nitro are the women. It’s just one beautiful girl after the next.
