Nice change of pace. Innovative and delicious Glatt Kosher selections to choose from. This place is everyday style food made from fresh ingredients from local farmer’s markets. Love the selection and the quality of the food! Tried both the Chinese Beef Lo-Mein and Corned Beef-Warm Sauerkraut, Spicy Mustard
on Rye Bread. Both delicious. Owners are wonderful and kind — and genuinely want to you to LOVE your meal.

I have eaten in Gourmet By Forte twice and enjoyed both experiences. First outing was the sesame chicken and wonton soup. Both were very good and satisfying when on the run. On my second trip I ordered the go old standby a dog and kraut with a potato knish. Once again very enjoyable and nice to have in the area.
As for the cole slaw comment, I asked about the knish today and they told me that they are made by Bill’s, and make everything else onsite.
I did like the fact that the chinese food is made to order and not part of the take away counter.
Good luck to the owners, they are very nice and try very hard to make the customer happy.

I specifically asked this proprietor (one of the owners) if the cole slaw was made on the premises. He answered that it was.
Took it home and it is the same manufactured cole slaw that is available in any supermarket.
He lied.
Never will return.
