Sandwiches are very good ant the owner is just a sweetie pie. Love him to death. This is my favorite place to go to and I suggest anyone goes too. The place is amazing.

I use to like this place but at night, the guy behind the counter is a complete asshole. He is rude and condescending. I suggest you avoid this place at all costs. I will never go back.

Stopped by here today while on a walk down York. I’m assuming the other two reviews on here are jokes … There certainly were no bouncers and I can’t imagine why any would be necessary. The two reviews in question are quite old though (the first from 2008) so maybe things have changed? I doubt it though — or maybe things just get crazy here when it gets dark out.
As far as I can tell, from being here around noon, this is just a normal bodega with a deli attached. I had just eaten lunch so I didn’t have an opportunity to try a sandwich, but they had all the normal cold cuts one would expect, and your regular drink selection and chips.

The best sandwich in NYC. As the name implies there will be no fights while you eat your sandwich. There is always a bouncer at the door. They even now have valet parking.
