East Harlem Icys and Ice Cream

I wish that I was a skinny girl, so that I can come here and get ice cream everyday…
This ice cream is the bomb, I had the Rum Raisin & Dulce de Leche and love both the Rum Raisin can used a little more rum but that’s me nick picking.
I shall return and get something different I’ll keep you posted my Unilocal peps, if you are in the hood and want some awesome ice cream come here, it’s not actually a store more like a walk up window like in Two Broke Girls but the park is not far.

Is this placed opened? I went by today at 1pm and while it looks like they are still in business everything was locked up. No sign indicating what was going on. No phone number to call either.

For lack of better words in my vocab, the store is beyond cute, at least in my opinion.
The gentleman who opened the store owns another business in the area and it is refreshing to see a local store owner expanding.
I have yet to taste the ice creams but the icys are wonderful. The taste and the price-​all great.
I will be visiting again soon!

Ok I dont know the science of Ice Cream and I dont know the science of peanut butter. What I do know is that the peanut butter swirl ice cream at this spot tastes like it has butter in it, and this my friends, is a beautiful thing.
(6/​21/​11) – So Ive gone back several times in the past few weeks and gotten the icees instead of the ice cream. The cotton candy icee is soooo goood. The sour apple icee also equally delicious and tastes like a jolly rancher candy. They let me mix the two flavors in one cup and I did a happy dance. The coconut has real coconut shavings in it. The coffee flavor is ok but its really sweet.
For some odd reason theyve started putting a pretzel stick in the cups. I dont know why but I dont like it and I’d like it to please stop. Either way, still a 5 star product.
