Well, ive just moved in from Toronto and to be honest this is one of the greatest cleaners I’ve ever been too. The service is fantastic. Pick ups and deliveries are quick and simple. My suits and wife’s garments are always beautifully pressed and handeled with care. The service as well is great. the women at the counter, remembered my name from the second time. She is really nice, always greets you with a smile and is conciderate of others. I’m not really sure who the owner is but anyways the service is great, prices are awesome, and the quality is one of a kind, ive recommended it to my new neighbors and friends and they love it. I definently recommend all to come to this cleaners

So this is my regular cleaners, largely because it’s right on my block. I use them for both wash & fold and dry cleaning services, and I’m overall quite happy with my experiences. My very first experiences with Rafael’s(now technically«E & I», I believe) were not the greatest. My dry cleaning was never ready when it was supposed to be, and once I had to show up three times on the same day in a desperate attempt to clothe myself for work the next day; even when it was actually clean on time, I still had to wait a few minutes for them to put plastic over the hangers. I never had a problem with my wash & fold. That said, I went elsewhere for a little while for my dry cleaning. I decided to give them another chance, and now I’m back at Rafael’s for both. The man who is always at the front desk – I’m not sure if he owns it – is quiet but very nice, and has helped me carry my 30+lb bag of laundry(I clearly procrastinate) home down the block. By now he knows my name, and whenever I walk in starts to grab my items for me, which I appreciate. I’ve had torn lining in my suit pants fixed by them, and the result was great.(And while I don’t doubt the other reviewer’s story, I am a woman and have never been offended by anyone who works here.) I recommend them with the caveat that you must just expect that the date for your dry cleaning is not always accurate – I typically give them an extra day from what it says on the receipt, and it’s generally ready by then, which is fine for me as long as I plan for that. I’ve never requested same-day cleaning services, so I can’t attest to that. Sometimes I still have to wait for my dry cleaning to get its clear, shiny, plastic jacket, but that’s fine. They don’t stuff your shirts with tissue paper like some of the pricier dry cleaners, but honestly I feel bad about wasting that much paper to begin with. The results are practically the same; it’s not like I’m throwing them on my closet floor such that they need to be wrinkle idiot-proof, so the extra paper just makes a mess to me anyway. I just left my Coach purse there to get a stain removed, so stay tuned for the results…

This cleaner routinely removes buttons from garments, shreds shirts, and fails to properly launder linens. The man who usually works at the counter has made offensive remarks to women twice; after the second time I realised that I had no reason to visit this cleaner again. Skyscraper around the corner of 2nd are more pleasant, professional, courteous, and efficient. Rafael’s V also charges twice the going rate for shirts($ 6, pressed) and trousers($ 11), and has delayed or forgetten delivery on several occasions. This cleaner is an excellent example of how _not_to run a neighbourhood business. Never once, of more than a dozen visits, did he remember my name, preferences for cleaning, or address. Skyscraper Cleaners greeted me by name the second time I walked in!
