Wow wow wow, 3 days after my facial and derma planing with Susy, my skin is still so healthy and radiant! Susy is a serious secret weapon for Trilogy! She very carefully scraped a decade away and with precision and care gave every inch of my skin her discerning attention. Love Trilogy Spa!

3 stars for the nice women who hosted our spa party and the outdoor cabana. Lounging on the deck with a glass of wine, wearing a robe was like the best thing ever. It was beautiful outside, and I could probably have moved in up there. The downside, the prices and the service. I received a 40 minute massage for 99 bucks… Say what?! Not even a happy ending?! Say What?! I know. It was an OK massage,(I get massaged, a lot:) I didn’t even get to flip over halfway through, my face was imprinted with a ring shape for an hour afterwards. I would really need to go back and try another service to get on board with the prices!

3 stars because the receptionist just told me to go upstairs as soon as I got there and I waited for about 15 minutes and there was no one there to help me. I wasn’t sure if they wanted me to change into my robe and if so, where was their damn robes??? My massage was supposed to start at 6pm and I was still walking in circles upstairs by 610 so I decided to go back downstairs and the receptionist asked me if I was lost??? Uh hello??? I’m not expecting no mariachi band but at least tell me where the robes are. The massage was good but I didn’t really get the whole 50 minutes massage that I paid for. It was more like 40 minutes. Disappointed to say the least.

I had a great massage with Monique. Highly recommended :-) ladies locker room has a mini sauna, and a sample sugar scrub to try. The rooftop balcony is nice, they let you bring your own wine and snack too. Only downside to the Rooftop is there is some construction somewhere in the complex going on, a buzzsaw kept going off which made the patio less than relaxing. Not the Spas fault, but just kind of killed the ambiance. Leave a little early to find parking, there is a public lot nearby with a two-hour limit.

This might be my 3rd time here. It’s okay not great. Very simple — bad communication at desk. When I called, I wasn’t sure what I wanted. I was told when you come in, you can decide. Walk in, have you been here before? She walked away before I could ask a question. Massage was good with Ted. Wanted to relax, just got off work after massage, come out to dirty towels, glasses, magazines over the chairs on the patio. So unless I wanted to clean up the area, which was not going to happen. No relaxing for me! It was a Thursday @ 4:30. Not a weekend and only 1 other person was there. Now to the showers, tried one, No hot water, on to the next one, same thing. There was no one there to ask. I call the desk and the answer was, «there is no hot water». That is part of the spa, you are greasy, cold and want a shower. They could have told me when I booked that morning or even when I walked in. When I went downstairs, they ask«So how was everything»? REALLY? She offered me their salt scrub which is one of their main things when you take a shower there. She also offered a day to use their spa. . ?? to do what? Sit and read a magazine? One of the girls did apologize with their standard, Sorry, we really don’t care. .. . Horrible customer servious and hospitality. I could have gone to massage envy for this.

I’m really disappointed that this was my rating. So many great reviews and yet, it was just not great, at all. The facilities themselves are small and dated. Everything was clean but there was a lingering smell of staleness. The amenities are not really worth spending time on. There are two tubs that look like nobody has touched and then the showers and bathrooms and the waiting area. The patio was closed due to rain but the waiting area inside is so cramped. Plus, the robes and slippers were all dingy. The actual massage I got was from Ted. He was a new guy and it was ok. But this was the first massage I got where I didn’t feel like I could fall asleep in a second. My eyebrow lady was fast but it was just a cleaning and not really a shaping. She missed more than a few hairs after I got home to take a longer look. I would say for the prices they charge, it is not worth it. It’s not even close to worth it. For more value, probably stick with an Asian massage place that is charging a fraction of what they are charging. I have gotten a better eyebrow wax from a regular nail place.

I really enjoyed my spa experience. The facial I had with Rachel was excellent. She was very knowledgeable about all the products, and she gave me a great head and shoulders massage. My friends all got Swedish massages and really like them as well. The whole spa was very clean, the robes were comfortable, I liked the outdoor sun patio a lot. However, I do I have a few minor critiques. There were two tubs in the locker room, but one was way too hot and the other was too cool– it would be better if you could adjust the temperature yourself. She shower shoes they gave were really uncomfortable. Also, the staff were strange at the end. After we paid, we were looking at some of the products and regrouping, and they basically shooed us out of the store. All in all it was a great experience and I would recommend this to someone in the future.

I’ve been here a few times to get the hydra facial. It’s life changing. My skin has never looked better. The spa is quiet, calming, and clean. There is a sauna and shower for community use. There is also a great roof top lounge area. Highly recommend some R&R here and the hydra facial with Tim. He is very meticulous and friendly.

Hydration Facial(50 minutes) — huge fan … left my skin feeling amazing! The massages I’ve had are hit/miss depending on who you get Service is always great . would be nice to have some soft music outside of spa… some lights over if evening … just updated it the tubs are sort of gross — not my cup of tea oh and they don’t take tip on your credit card payment — you need cash … just a hassle –but luckily few atm’s around

Nice spa. It’s surrounded by other shops in a well-kept plaza near the beach. Upon walking in, you’ll see their gift area, and that is where you’ll check in for your massage and treatments. When everybody is ready, you will be led upstairs. Of course you’ll find the entire area surrounded by anything therapeutic. Pleasant aromas from the scented candles, perfectly dimmed lighting, calming music. At the rooftop, there’s a whole area where you can absolutely relax while waiting for your massage. It has a nice view of the beach from afar(but not a grand view because the roof isn’t very high up from the ground). If not a view of the beach, then a view of other nice buildings and palm trees. If you want to tip your masseuse, it has to be in cash and it will be separate from the price of the service. Parking: The area can be a bit tricky in terms of parking. For anything here, there’s a parking structure/lot that I personally never use. You can probably try for the outside street parking or a certain area of parking spots near Ardmore and Valley. That’s all I got. If you can find parking, this spa is a good place.

I just went for my first massage ever. I was nervous and didn’t know what to expect but they woman at the front was very nice and they even pushed back my appointment because my car broke down on the way. I had Theresa for my masseuse and she was very calming and explained everything to me. I never felt uncomfortable and she made sure I was ok every step along the way. After the massage she greeted me with orange infused water and showed me to the locker room where I enjoyed a free scrub under the rain shower. I feel like a new person. I will definitely be returning to this spa! Thank you Trilogy Spa

Simple Full Bikini waxing(not the full tilt Brazilian, just the basic)… I think not! 1:30 that did not begin until 1:50 because technician told me she had to put money in her meter! What? Then she shared they had the wrong room booked for my appt. with no warm wax ready so she had to kick someone out of a room. What? I have had a bikini wax many times before and nothing was this painful of a treatment… What? Got home with bruises and red marks from lifting the wax. And the grand prize, wax remaining all over what was left for me to deal with at home. Calling manager tomorrow, but DONOTBOOK A WAXINGHEREEVER! Technicians are not trained properly, clearly.

Came to Manhattan Beach for a mini vacay and was looking for a great place to drop in and treat my self. I was a bit skeptical about the quality of massage because I’m very spoiled at home with a great massage therapist I see regularly. I figured it might be nice, but it wouldn’t be as good as someone who’s been working on me for years. Oh. My. Goodness. This place was heaven. Venessa somehow knew all the places I needed worked instantly with the right amount of pressure to get in there and break up my knots, while still keeping it relaxing and enjoyable. My only regret was not booking a longer massage! All the staff were an absolute delight from the front desk to facilities staff, all made me feel welcomed and taken care of. Oh, and I wish I could buy their sugar scrub in bulk, the tubs were lovely, and the outdoor patio made me feel like I was in the lap of luxury. Don’t hesitate to book and appointment, they don’t disappoint!

Trilogy has been my go-to spa for many years. Everything about their facilities are a 5⁄5 but I have to say that the rooftop lounge is definitely my favorite of their areas… it is breathtaking(both at night and during the day). Their online booking system is very convenient and from the second you walk through their door the staff makes you feel right at home. Sean gave me my most recent massage and I felt I needed to write this review as I can’t say enough good things about him. I was having some major pain in with my lower back and after a short discussion with him before we started he did an outstanding job customize my massage to treat my specific problem area(s). I felt fantastic the next day as a result of his treatment and I have no doubt that I’ll be going back to him in the near future.

Arrived here on Sunday for my birthday and the hostess was super sweet to us. She was very accommodating and gave us a glass of champagne for my birthday. The restroom was cute with sugar scrub plates, tubs and changing areas. I liked the locker idea with your own personal codes, the steam room felt amazing although I didn’t stay in long because I was thinking about my boyfriend wondering if he was doing ok. We slipped into robes and slipper, sat in the sun and relaxed for a bit before our massage. The cabanas were cute but awkward looking at other people in robes lol. It was a bit chilly too at that time. We had a couples massage with Vanessa and Jenni and felt relaxed and enjoyed our time here. I should have gotten us the deep tissue but we chose to try their Swedish first. I asked for hot stones when I called for our appointment but they only gave the hot stones to me I didn’t know my boyfriend did not get it until the end but we didn’t make a big fuss about it. At the end they gifted me a sugar scrub and 10% off for my birthday which was really sweet. I knocked off one star because I wanted to tip out ladies and couldn’t using my card. We then attempted to find an ATM and couldn’t after walking to different places around the spa. I felt bad about it but we ended up leaving after entering 3 places and no luck.

5 Stars for Sean: the most impeccable extraordinaire sports masseuse ever! I have had over 50 massages by 20 different massage therapists and no one compares to Sean, the true deep tissue masseuse. I am a big workout obsessed gal that gets extremely sore from time to time and at times I can be in so much pain from an improper move that I become immobile. Sean’s technique is so unique that you’ll never experience anything like it ever again in your life. I highly recommend him if you’re an athlete. Nothing compares to a detailed, specific, precise massage with all the excruciating groaning I mean growing pains. Haha. No pain no gain ;) I promise you, you will leave like a new athlete ready to tackle your next workout.

This is my go to spa in the area, as it is the only spa that I know of in this area that has full bathtubs and showers! They do offer body scrubs here and they have a water spray room where you get sprayed down after your scrub. It feels amazing! I have gotten scrubs, facials and massages here! They’re all amazing! My best friend came to visit me recently and we both had such a wonderful time here. I usually come alone, if it’s on the weekend the Mr will join me, but it’s totally more fun if you are with your girlfriends because you can hang out in the rooftop cabanas after your massage and just relax and chatter away while enjoying your drinks and fruits. I always get their hot stone massage, occasionally I would get their Swedish. When the Mr goes he likes their deep tissue. The assistant manager, Kevin, is a sweetheart!

Beautiful spa! The rooftop lounge area is breathtaking. There is complimentary fresh fruit, tea and water for your pleasure while you wait for your therapist or after your service during relaxation time. My massage was extremely calming; so much that I fell asleep lol. When I awaken I felt renewed. I usually enjoy all amenities when I have a spa day; like to get my money’s worth. I took a nice hot shower after my massage(the salt scrub was awesome). I went to lay out on the rooftop and fell asleep again while munching on orange slices, I returned indoors to take advantage of the sauna. Lastly, I took a warm bath in the deep stone shower tub. There’s a full salon on the first level as well if you should need a hairdo spruce up. Can’t wait until I’m back in Manhattan Beach so I can schedule my next Trilogy day.
