We gave this place plenty of chances. Ordered from them 5 times. 4 out of the 5 times… our order was messed up. Missing salads, wrong food, missing sauces, etc. Tonight, we gave them that 5th shot. I stressed on the phone that the last 3 times our order was screwed up. Our order arrives wrong AGAIN! Not only that, it took over an hour to get here. My wifes entrée was completely wrong and it will go to waste. We had to get something, from somewhere else since what came is not a dish she liked at all. On top of that, I gave their Alfredo a shot. I found it to be more like butter salt and milk than an actual cheesy alfredo. Last time, last shot for them. We’re done. If you’re considering delivery, know that your chances are better for it arriving incorrect than correct. Get it together, this is simple stuff to get an order delivered properly.

We ate in ordering a salad with grilled chicken and a chicken ceasar wrap. The food was excellent. The problem was the wait time. It was 3pm not a very busy time, no one else in the restaurant. It was our order and any delivery orders. Our order took nearly an hour to get to us. Again, the food was wonderful but was dampened by the ridiculously long wait for relatively simple dishes.

Okay. I’ve only eaten here twice; once being take out, which was pretty damned good pizza. The other time, was more recent, was eat in, couple of subs. and have to say, was better than my first takeout… but. Seriously. The place is a dump. I appreciate it’s attempt at being legit and I really mean that. Doesn’t mean I have to sit at a dirty table, with crappy walls and little effort into keeping the place nice. I mean seriously; you have a quality product and make an effort, it seems. Fix the f#cking place up and show some pride. Just crap everywhere… I had to apologize to my gf as we ate there, twice. Did we enjoy our food? Yes. did it feel like an inviting, clean place? NO. In most cases, I would have left. It’s almost sad. The neighborhood sucks… doesn’t mean the place has to look like it. The food is solid. Fix the place up. It’s a restaurant, not exclusively a take out counter, though I may be wrong there… not sure. It gets 3 stars… and the owner, who I think I think i met on first trip, seems like a solid guy, so nothing personal, just make your business something that people want to come to and they will come.

Called for delivery for an impromptu pizza 20 minutes before they closed and it was phenomenal. Their Buffalo tenders are also fantastic as well as the jalepeno poppers. I can’t really speak for anything else, but also looking forward to trying their subs. We will keep coming back!

Love this place, and I always remind them when I walk in to pick up and I can tell they’re siked when I let them know their hard work pleases me. Never had a bad meal from here. Always the best service, nicest crowd working the counters, and incredible ricotta pizza. Jimmy is the real deal mom and pop shop kinda guy. Hope he stays in business until I mourn his loss after reading the obituaries when I’m 65.

The food is amazing but they always screw up. They forgot to deliver our order once and it took two hours to get cold food. Another time they forgot to put the steak on my salad and it took two hours to get the right food and a third time they put the wrong dressing on each sub and they were inedible. After about two hours to get the right food I had to give the ope ones back to prove the screw up, I really wanted to like this place but it’s crazy that no one seems to manage the place.

Remove the«Missing» labels from the milk cartons… Amazing pizza in NH has been found!!!(Cue the Angels singing) The New Hampshire Pizzapocalypse is over. Skinny’s is an unassuming; blink and you’ll miss it, establishment located on Amory St. on the West side of Manchester… but don’t be fooled. This is real deal pizza. This is not conveyer belt, one size fits all pizza. You can taste the quality from the toppings, to the sauce right down to the crust. Every layer is packed with flavor that delivers and satisfies. In response to the reviews that talk about delivery and cold food. let me add my 2 cents. I live in Henniker. When we want pizza, we order from Skinny’s. We drive from Henniker to Manchester. That is about a 40 minute+ excursion to and from. By the time we get home, the pizza; of course, is not piping hot but riddle me this… if even luke warm Skinny’s trumps all the others… why in the world would you waste your time on anything else? I ain’t got no time for that! Skinny’s. Real pizza. Real flavor. Real deal pizza meal. Drop the mic.

Skinny’s is THE pizzeria of the West Side. They are also very generous with their donations to local non-profit events. Good people. Great pizza.

Had Skinny’s pizza today. It was great! Great slice, fresh ingredients and the dough/crust was just like a NYC slice. Although I am picky about my pizza and like it «well done» aka, crispy, next time I will ask for it well done. I will be back!!!

Ordered for delivery spaghetti and sausage. Delivered on time and hot. Asked for an dante. That’s the way it came. Love this place.

Their pizza was great! I got the Bianca pizza that reminded me of a pie I had when I was living in New Jersey but haven’t found around here since coming back home. They also have an excellent staff. We were moving in and the delivery guy offered to help us move our couch inside.

We ordered from this pizzeria yesterday evening. Placed an order at 6:45 for two pizzas and was told 45 minutes to an hour for delivery. An hour passed, and I called to check on the eta of our«two» pizzas. The pizzeria said they haven’t left yet, but will be leaving soon. Our pizza arrived at 8:45, 2 hours later! Being our first time ordering, we were hoping the pizza would be worth the wait… It was not! One pizza was semi hot, and the other pizza was Luke warm. Long story short, we would not recommend this pizzeria to friends, and we will not be ordering from here again.

We had been looking for a good pizza joint to replace the current pizza joint we had been patronizing in Hooksett NH because the quality was not consistent, and they had raised prices ridiculously! The Union Leader had a poll going about who had the best pizza in New Hampshire. Skinny’s Pizzeria had made the list, so I kept that in the back of my mind… Well tonight was the night! I was a little skeptical because, when it comes to a man such as myself and his pizza, there is no compromise! I ordered my usual extra cheese pepperoni pizza, and the wife ordered the manicotti. We threw in a appetizer of boneless buffalo wings. The food arrived about 35 minutes later, hot, and smelling great! We unpacked it and the first thing we noticed was that, the boneless buffalo wings were actually bone in. Ok, maybe that should be brought to someone’s attention, but we all make mistakes. Maybe it’s an error on their menu and they really only have chicken wings, I don’t know. Next was the pizza. I lifted a slice out of the box and put it on my plate and dug right in… GOOD! I mean GREAT! It beat our«old» place hands down! I asked the wife how her manicotti was and she said it was very good. She also received a small sub roll sized bread that was warm and delicious! Yeah, I tried it :) It was not a sub roll though, it was a small loaf of warm dense bread, the kind I love! Half way through our meal, we knew we found out new pizza joint! We will be patronizing their establishment weekly from here on out… BTW, when I refer to it as a pizza joint, it’s just my slang. I have never stepped foot into their place, but I will say, there are some Chinese food joints that are real dives, but tend to have the best food!

I have ordered from Skinny’s three separate times. The first time, the pizza was cold and the pizza toppings had obviously slid during delivery. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, and the pizza was pretty tasty once we reheated it. I ordered from them a second time. I asked for a couple sandwiches and some mozzarella sticks. It took over an hour for the food to be delivered, I ordered at 1:00 pm on a Tuesday, so I once again tried to give them the benefit of the doubt due to a likely lunch rush. I ordered from here for the third and LAST time this Friday. We ordered their«specialty» chicken bacon and ranch pizza. Again, it took an hour for it to be delivered. I live less than 10 minutes from the restaurant. It was dry and disappointing overall. However, the staff was ALWAYS so nice on the phone. The second time I ordered, I called them to check to see if they had maybe forgotten our order, and the Manager(I think) called me back and apologized. Apologies are great, but consistently poor service just isn’t acceptable.

I tried Skinny’s based on other Unilocal reviews and I’m glad I did! I ordered a large half Bianca, half Veggie and had it delivered. Delivery seemed to take a long time, but I think it’s because I had no sense of when it would arrive. I would recommend that they consider offering online ordering with confirmations of when your food is out for delivery. It’s pretty par for the course these days. Anyways, on to the food… this is some good pizza. You can tell everything is made fresh. I wasn’t sure if the ricotta would be too much, but it wasn’t and it had the perfect amount of garlic. The veggies were crisp, again another sign of freshness. The person who took my order over the phone was very nice and efficient. I will be exploring their other meals in the future.

I’m here visiting from NJ and decided to try out Skinny’s after reading the reviews. Let me tell you Skinny’s did not disappoint! The pizza was absolutely delish!!! I ordered one of their large specialty pies with half the Bianca and half with meatball, ricotta, mozzarella, and sauce. Wow I loved it! The service was great and if that wasn’t enough, the owner Jimmy came over to ask us how everything was. He heard that it was our first time there. Awesome people and even better pizza!!! I will definitely be back. Thank you Jimmy and staff(:

Let me preface this review by saying if you like sweet sauce, doughy crust, and flavorless cheese, this is not going to be your pizza of choice. If you think good pizza is made by Greeks, this is not the place for you. If you think calzones don’t have ricotta in them, stay away. However, if you are looking for real NY pizza, this is the only place in Manchester that I’ve found to fit the bill. The crust is thin and tender with just the right«bite» to it. If you are an expatriated New Yorker like me, you’ll know what I mean. The sauce is rich and flavorful with a little bit of latent heat, almost like an arrabiata. Not what I usually look for, but way better than sweet and actually quite nice with the right combination of toppings. The cheese is flavorful and not overly greasy. All in all, they use quality ingredients and it shows. Their white pizza(bianco) is great… It really highlights the cheese and what seems to be homemade(or at least very fresh and flavorful) ricotta. It’s a little heavy on the garlic, but very good. I highly recommend a pizza with ricotta and meatball. It’s almost like a calzone on a pizza. It’s loaded with thinly sliced meatballs which are really flavorful… Full of garlic and meatiness(so descriptive, I know, but it fits… almost like meatball pepperonis). Combined with that great ricotta and spicy sauce, it’s an excellent pizza. Also, not really a standard by which to judge, but the bacon cheddar fries are great, too. They’re oven crisped and loaded with bacon and real cheese, not that nacho sauce crap. Honestly, if you like pizza and haven’t tried Skinny’s, you need to. It’s worth venturing over to the west side for.

Great pizza, subs, and pasta! Homemade bread and sauces. Meatballs are incredible. Each pasta dish comes with a delicious side salad that includes fresh cheese and olives on it or a cup of soup. I had a tortellini special made with a sherry cream sauce that was unbelievably delicious! Pizza slices are always available too. Very nice and welcoming staff.

Tried this place on a friend’s recommendation. Tell you what, I enjoyed the large veggie pizza I bought and I’ll be back to try some more. You wouldnt expect the best pizza based off the location/building it’s in but trust me — it’s good! The crust was great, classsic taste for a NY pie. The cheese was soft and not too salty. The sauce is good too which for me is the most important. And finally, the toppings. I got what I was supposed to get but maybe could of used a bit more. I think that’s personal preference though. Oh, and they had the guts to open up right next to a Domino’s. That’s confidence in their product. Enjoy!

This is definitely one of Manchester’s hidden gems. A great little pizzeria with some of the best handmade pizza I’ve had. They did sandwiches and desserts just right too. The best part is how insanely inexpensive they are, especially for how quality the food is. Most times it ends up being cheaper than Domino’s right next door, despite offering a clearly superior product. Jimmy, the owner, is frequently there slaving away in the kitchen. He’s a really cool and approachable young guy. Talk to him about Bitcoin, he’s just about ready to accept it with the right little push.
