Should’ve known better, but the reviews recommended the Sushi and the bartender said it’s «the best in NH», which — granted — didn’t really impress me. So I went with the«sushi special» which was — well, very very mediocre. Specifically, the fish was fresh enough but not great; there was WAY too much rice in each piece — sushi is not supposed to be big; and the rice was warm, which is an absolute no-no for sushi. Bottom line — about the same level of pre-prepared sushi you get at an airport; not terrible, but certainly not great. I left most of it on the plate; no one asked why. Salad before the sushi was fine and miso soup was meh — bland and barely warm. Will need to try other — more local dishes — another time.

Extremely disappointed. We’ve heard amazing reviews and decided to try it the other night. Hugeeeee mistake. Our server was awesome and very attentive but the food was outright bland, dry, not fresh, and I would even say gross. We sent our food back and went somewhere else. Manager came out to apologize but that didn’t make up for the terrible food. This place could be great with new chefs!

Visited with a group of foreign friends that wanted sushi, though I was happy there were other options on the menu. The ambiance was good and the restaurant was bustling, even on a late Sunday afternoon. The waiter was happy to describe the ins and outs of the menu for the sushi-ignorant, and everyone that had the fish plates was happy with what they got. I had some sort of stuffed free range game hen that honestly, was only so-so. It was overcooked and very dry. Everyone else was happy though so I’d try it again.

Cheap unfresh fish, staff so-so, sushi chef can’t answer what is his best roll. Could be 4.5* in Manchester but would be 0 stars in any big city

The apps were very good but I was disappointed with the sushi. The special rolls were the same size as a regular roll. Usually they are larger are have more items on them. I didn’t expect this especially with the price of a special roll. I would have ordered a regular tuna avocado or something instead if I had known. The flavors were just OK. I have had better. In addition, I saw that other tables had bread baskets but we didn’t get one. I’m not sure why we didn’t get bread as we ordered non-sushi entrees as well. We ordered cocktails as well but they weren’t mixed very well. The sugar in my mojito was all at the bottom and the blue hawaiian wasn’t mixed well either. The service was good and the food was quick but we were also there very early so it wasn’t busy. I wouldn’t bother coming back here.

It was a quick dinner when we got off the plane. Solid food. Solid service. Nothing that stood out as remarkable.

Outstanding food. Went here with my husband, and it was both out first time here. Having heard many good things about the place, we decided to try it out. I was pleasantly surprised to see a sushi bar, and to see Asian food on the menu. Missing a taste of Korean food, I ordered their Bibimbap. When it arrived, I was surprised to find that it wasn’t like the bibimbap I knew and I was disappointed. But the first bite was awesome. The beef was tender, seasoned well, and was just pleasantly surprising. The mix of the veggies were just right. I finished the whole serving(which I usually don’t). My husband had the haddock entrée and t was equally as superb. We had the chocolate cake for dessert(only photo in this review(:), and it was a great way to end the meal. Service was awesome as well. Chris, our server, was knowledgeable and accommodating. Would definitely come back here.

Definitely Not JUST a Sushi place. Lots of variety on the menu and some sushi too. The Sushi presentation was great however everything from the fish to the rolls were just so-so. Great service, which is the reason I rated it very highly — and also because of the beer selection. Slightly overpriced as the sushi just did not deliver.

The food here is great, entrees to sushi to apps. We’ve been here 4 times and have never had anything even remotely close to mediocre. The short rib nachos are a must try. Been here 4 or 5 times now, last time my wife had the filet and she enjoyed it more than some steakhouses we’ve been to. Amy was behind the bar during the last visit and she was friendly and very attentive. Hopefully we can start making it a once week place to dine the more we are up in Manchester.

I had a large reservation at Mint and the waiter was extremely accommodating and friendly. The mood lighting was great and the small venue made for an intimate dining experience. The cocktails were strong and delicious. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of the high menu prices. Other than that it was a great night.

Mint Bistro is on my list of regular spots when staying in Manchester for work. Mint offers a modern atmosphere with a great bar which I most often belly up to since I’m dining alone. I’ve tried several dishes but usually satisfy my sushi craving here. They service is top notch and extremely friendly. I really have not had a bad experience here in the 5+ times I’ve dined in. I really want to explore some of entrée’s on the menu but always find myself ordering tapas and sushi which for the area is top notch. For tapas — Poke Tuna is excellent. Asian shortrib nachos are off the chart delicious, everything in this dish just works! Meatballs are also worth mentioning! Switching gears to sushi… Both Tuna Tataki apps are extremely good. Very fresh tuna and excellent balance of flavors. I usually order a variety of Maki and Nigiri which are always great. Mint has a good variety of signature rolls as well which are worth exploring.

Wow!!! Just moved in down the street and visited here on a Monday night, sat at the bar and had a most wonderful experience!!! I ordered tapas; the poke, the scallops, and the mussels with linguisa. It was all amazing, but the scallops were perfection, seared perfectly, perfect temperature, they were amazing. The pork belly that was served with the scallops was tender and tasty. The mussels were also cooked to perfection, the sauce that accompanied the mussels was very flavorful and tender. The poke was a very good quality tuna, I only wish the aioli was a bit more spicy. The service was also outstanding and attentive. The menu was very diverse and I can’t wait to try a ton of things on there, especially the bibimbop. Well done Mint Bistro, you will be seeing a lot of me.

Fantastic food. Great intimate atmosphere. Great date night restaurant. Very fresh and well made sushi rolls. The special rolls are a little pricey but still delicious. The well made and tasty drinks can push the bill up pretty high pretty quick too. All in all a recommended place for a date or a nice hip night out. Reservations recommended for most weekends.

Very disappointing experience. We chose this restaurant and brought some«first time» Mint Restaurant diners to celebrate two birthdays. Due to a very large holiday party in ths«open setting», the noise level was unbearable from the moment we entered the restaurant. It was impossible to engage in dinner conversation without straining, and difficult for all four of us to enjoy the dining experience. I made apologies to our friends as there was anything but a celebratory feel to the evening. o Additionally we informed the restaurant of the two birthdays when making reservations. During the dinner nothing was acknowledged, even though we saw a server bring a cake and lit candle to another table. The next occasion will be in a more appropriate setting.

This place is absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is very relaxed and modern(somewhat noisy). I am a chef and I am very picky about food at restaurants and I have to say this is easily one of my favorite places in Manchester. Tonight I had the curry and it was probably the best curry I have had in a very long time. It had sweet potato, carrots, snow peas, and coconut infused quinoa – beautiful. For the appetizer I had the goat cheese fritters, also very good. Highly recommend both dishes. I had the banana cheesecake spring rolls with cinnamon ice cream for dessert… again, very very good!

Ok this is officially my new favorite sushi place of all time. Everything about this place was outstanding tonight… from the minute we walked in until the moment we left. We started with the Asian Nachos… GAHHH …to DIEFOR! Where was all this deliciousness when I was leaving Wally & Bernies at 1 am? Anyway… we ordered 2 Sushi dishes. mine was the Red Sox Sushi and Oh heavens so good. We finished with the Crème Brulee… anyone who knows me knows that is my all time favorite dessert and they killed it. We had an amazing server(I don’t remember his name… we had 5 pm reservations) and he was right on his game… friendly, knowledgeable, & not overbearing(big pet peeve)…the hostess even stopped over at one point and chatted a bit as she was asking about our food and cleaning off the dishes. Very friendly customer service oriented group! Didn’t order anything fancy for drinks so I can’t attest to those… we stuck with a beer & prosecco. Seriously guys… great job. We’ll definite be back & would recommend this place to anyone.

Very cozy establishment! I like that they have a sushi bar, at the bar. The atmosphere was pleasant and with the décor to match. I forgot what I ordered but the food was good, hence the review.

Mint is decent for a college town restaurant. Food is tasteful and the service is attentive. We called in last minute for a reservation and the only available seatings were at the bar. When we arrived, much to our surprise, the hostess already set our bar seatings with placemat, water and eating utensils. Ordering was effortless and the food arrived promptly. The bartender is friendly not to mention she’s got a great smile. As for food, it’s good but nothing stood out to write home about and the décor is borderline tacky(this is just my personal taste and to each his own). With that said, if my rating was based on the service and staff alone, they would get a solid 5 stars.
