Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts is not really my kind of place but my wife loves it and I go with her on occasion. The store is well stocked and organized. I do wander around and look at interesting stuff. My wife loves that they give out lots of discount coupons. I am pretty sure that my wife would give this store *****. Our most recent visits were today and about 10 days ago. I am only going to give them 2 stars. On our last 2 visits I have needed to use their open to the public men’s room. On both visits it was FILTHY, Nasty, Smelly, and moldy. It is disgusting. I did not want to touch anything! It is a health hazard! For that reason alone, I give them 2 stars.

Last night at about 9pm I went to get an item my daughter needed. I was turned away as they said they were closed. I went back to my car, and while searching to see where else I could find the item when I look up and as the person who was at the register was leaving a women runs into the store and they LETHERIN. Really, why was I turned away? discrimination, not want my business, favors for friends, poor customer service??? I did post this on FB and someone said they posted it to the store and management would get back to me but it could take days. Well I am unsure they will even call, so be ware, not everyone is welcome at this store. Go to AC Moore, Michaels or Walgreens, none of those stores turned me away on Black Friday evening for my shopping needs. Shame on the worker at Joann Fabric last night, what gave you the right to allow one person to go in after me but not me? Still frustrated and thinking I may never go into that store again.

To witness one of the managers acting like a two year old throwing a fit, yelling at the employees in public where everyone can see and having another manager totally unprepared to do anything and can’t be left alone. To not cross train any guys on the cutting counter or on framing or anything. Completely discrimination against horrible place toxic environment filled with rude managers who do nothing and no training at all

The lady cutting the fabric was extremely rude to my mom, her name is Kathy, my mom was telling her i need 1 yard of this and one yard of this and she said dont tell me too much, what a rude lady. What happened to customer service Joann fabrics.

This Jo-Ann’s layout is more confusing and disorganized than others I’ve seen, harder to find the section you’re looking for. However the staff were friendly and helpful, perhaps a little too helpful, I got asked 3 separate times in about 5 minutes if I needed help. Maybe they were bored.

Since I’m all about coupons, I’m all about shopping at Jo-Ann. I always find great discounts here — especially when I’m on a crochet kick! I tend to go on craft benders — from mosaics and découpage to pottery, candle making, soap making — hell, even terrariums. Jo-Ann has exactly what I need for all of my weird whims & hobbies. I’ve also found some great seasonal stuff here for events I’ve organized(baskets, autumn leaf arrangements, party bags, etc). No complaints about organization or customer service either.

I am a fan. Even though I find it to be a bit out of the way I find that it has everything needed for the holidays and parties. Good qualities: –The store has a diverse number of items needed for the holidays. –It is a large store and has a good amount of room to move from one point to another. –Both purchasing and returning items is made with little fuss and muss. –The employees are friendly and helpful. –Plenty of parking is available.

For any crafter, you really can’t beat Jo-Ann Fabrics. They have just about everything you need for crafting, sewing, baking, scrapbooking, etc., at very low prices. If you are on their mailing list, you also receive coupons in the mail as an added bonus. My only complaint is that I wish they also sold a higher quality of fabrics, as there aren’t that many fabric stores in the area like Jo-Ann’s. I also find that if you are really looking for something specific, you have to hunt a floor person down, which is not easy in such a huge store.
