My experience at this Courtyard was disappointing. My room was clean for the most part and comfortable, but the hotel is very worn and in need of a major renovation! I say«most part» as they room itself was clean, but the shower needed more attention. There were a number of residual hairs in the shower — stuck to the tiles and grout. The HD flat panel TV needs to have more HD channels. Very few were available — and some of my favorite channels were missing from the channel lineup: The Food Network, HGTV, and the Syfy Channel were not available. The hotel staff was friendly and professional.

Though the staff was courteous and friendly, I am not impressed at all with this hotel. I understand that the hotel is under construction, but it’s not for the better. Our room was supposed to sleep 4. One king bed and a small twin pullout couch do not work for 4 people. The room is TINY — there was no room to maneuver around the pullout to get to the kitchen/bath area. I’d rather have the microwave and fridge in the room itself and more room around the bed than that setup. Despite being aware that we had a party of four, they kept leaving 2 – 3 towels — and no bedding for the pullout. We had to keep calling down to the front desk or going down to get more — all three nights of our stay. After our first night, the cleaning service came in, made the bed and replaced the towels(leaving three), and emptied the garbages — did not do the floors. Poor lighting in the shower area — with the curtain closed you are showering in the dark. Not at all pleased and will not return.

The Marriott is not the Westin. Else it would cost 3x as much as it does. Good place for the price. Staff was very friendly and helpful. If you want a five star resort — pay five star prices elsewhere. If you want a decent place for a decent price, l — you can find it here. Our experience was just that — good, considering the price.

Stayed at courtyard and hesitated after reading reviews but was very positively happy. I kept looking for the dirty carpets or ambient or airplane noise other reviewers talked about four or five months ago but everything was immaculate. Everything looked new. There was a little discrete bar in the lobby with a free pool table. The décor was pier one global mixture with texture all over. While the continental breakfast was six bucks, it was fresh with huge bagels. For eleven it was all you can eat custom omlettes and sausage. Pretty darn good. Rooms were perfect and spacious. My only crticism was that dorm fridges should be in every room, not just suites. The staff were the best part and should be rewarded for their grace and poise under pressure. We had several special requests and were met with positive, can do attitude. Josh was very helpful, Heidi was willing to go the extra mile for us. We got extra pillows… we got different kinds of pillows… we got extra blankets… Mallory was really amazing. Her service was on par with my last hotel stay at the Ritz-Carlton Chicago property. She went above and beyond to make our bizarre, winding vacation seem quite normal. These folks were knowledgable about the area, and actively concerned that our stay was great. If I were in the hotel business I would hire all of them away from Mariott. Every housekeeper and«back office» staff greeted me with a _genuine_«Hi there» not a canned customer service greeting. Everyone was not just nice, but down to earth real. Great stay. Will stay again in two weeks when I am back.

On the road. Nice property, if a bit older than most. Clean, room in fine shape with updated furniture and lighting. Great location with Planet Fitness adjacent and La Torreta restaurant across from that. Free, fast shuttle service from airport. Staff very nice. My traveling mates enjoyed the lobby bar while I hit the gym, and had a fine time. Recommended and will stay again.

This was one of the best places we stayed at during 3 weeks of traveling. We got off the road, were greeted nicely. Once settled, grabbed a cold one down at the bar in the lobby. Bartender was super nice. Then walked next door for dinner at Olive Garden and had a great meal. Later, I racked out in a comfy bed, woke up to free breakfast and took the kids to the pool for an hour to wear them out before getting back on the road. I left feeling relaxed and reenergized. It was easy to check in, stay, and leave… exhale. All hotel stays should feel this way. Marriot, you never let me down.

Bummer … I am losing hope in the Courtyard Marriott chain. Lately they have been hit or miss. This one is pretty much a miss. The lobby does not have automatic doors and the décor is very dated. The carpet in the elevator is worn, gross, and has a funky stale smell. The rooms are very dark with minimal poor lighting. My shower stall had black hairs stuck the walls! I asked to have the bathroom cleaned, and they did so before I came back to the room that evening. The shower floor had a large crack in the lining. The hallways also have a stale smell. When I checked in that night, there was a line of three men in front of me and only one person working. I had to wait 20 minutes to check in. That’s the last thing you want to do after traveling a distance. I think that I might have to find another hotel chain that is more consistent when traveling for work.

A good choice for an early morning flight. Shuttle drives were quick and courteous. Jennifer at the front desk provides stellar service. I had made an error when booking. She fixed it, while letting my group head out to dinner. Thank you, Jennifer! And thank you Marriot for giving her the flexibly to handle it.

Yeah, the Courtyard is generally a terrible chain but the fine folks in Manchester really know how to provide a terrible hotel experience. Room next to ice machine-check. The world’s thinnest floors-check. Airplane noise-check. Housekeeping acting like they’re practicing for a home invasion-check. Worst handicap bathroom layout with poor lighting-check. They fail well!
