Geeze has this place gone downhill! I remember when Top’s was always crowded. Now it’s deserted. Maybe because the food is.cold. And it stinks. The only good thing is the mango pudding. So an extra star for the pudding alone. Otherwise, run for the hills.

One word… Awful. They had pretty good reviews on Trip Advisor, wish we had looked here as well. One of the posters over there mentioned«I would be very skeptical of most of the reviews below for Tops. So many of them are the only contribution by the poster, and they all seem to say more or less the same thing.» Because of the good reviews we decided to give it a go anyhow and it was a horrible mistake. I honestly have nothing good to say about this place, stay away.

I ate here with my family so there were six of us total including the baby and we all loved it. The food was fantastic from the fried shrimp to the ribs, the mongolian grill was the highlight for me and seriously delicious ice cream(and not soft serve either). The server was great and refilled our drinks in a timely manner. The food, the great service and the price prove that Hibachi Buffet and Sushi down the street from here are thieves. The selection overall might be smaller than Hibachi but the quality is orders of magnitude greater. The comment from Seab H. should really be filtered. He even says in his review that he just walked in to see if a buffet had phở because there was a sign that said they do and then walked out without ever being a customer. I mean are you kidding me? If I go to an Italian restaurant and there is a sign on the window that says they also have cheesburgers you can bet that’s not what I am going there for.

all i can say is hide your kids hide your wife… I’ve been here in like 1998 before I moved to Korea. It was a really decent place tons of food and selection… fast forward to now… 2011… I moved back to Manassas… ATMOSPHERE: There’s crump of food every where on the floor, sauce stains on the table, people sneeze without covering their mouth when they’re on the buffet line. FOOD: Some stir fries are burnt, the lo main is disgustingly greasy, the dumplings are hard as rocks & the pork tasted like dog food, the rice was soggy, chicken was rubbery, everything is cold(source of bacteria which is why i got really sick after for 3DAYS!) SERVICE: I was pretty much being hit on the whole time by the server. They were whispering to each other and look at me many occasion. if we take 2 gulps of sweet tea they find every reason to come fill the drink for me and my girl friend. OVERALL: It was a horrible experience I ever had. Not only I felt so uncomfortable there I had the worst food ever and got sick that same night. STAYAWAY. FARFARRRRRRRRRAWAYYYY!

I love buffets and I hate buffets. While on a search for a different place to eat, I saw this place. Something told me I should have gone next door, but I figured I’d give my peeps a chance. I walked in and there was nobody at the counter. Less than a minute a person came and took me to a table. He asked me what I wanted and I was off. Looking around, there seemed to be a lot of different types of food out. I walked up and down before I started to dig in. Before I walked in, this place claims they have hibachi and phở. Yeah right! here you go, another Chinese restaurant that thinks they can do it all. Any how, I saw the section they have the so called hibachi. I guess they are trying to do Mongolian, but no sauces. There were very few choices of toppings. Then I saw the phở section. Pretty funny site actually. This place has your typical Americanized type of Chinese food, they had the General, some sesame chicken, beef and broccoli, hunan chicken, and so on. They had 3 soups out. Hot and Sour soup, egg drop soup, and wonton soup. I filled my plate with some basic stuff. Everything here looked pretty much bland. It also looked like it was sitting out for a very long time. Some of the dishes looked very dry. Anyhow, I did get some of the clams in black bean sauce. The first batch I got was o.k. I did get a fresh batch on my 2nd trip up. The first plate was nothing special. Just ordinary and bland. Some of the dishes were cold and some were warm. Nothing was hot. There were only two hot things I had. The first was the hot and sour soup. This was actually the star of the meal. It was actually good, which surprised me, because everything else tasted bla! The 2nd one was the so called PHO. You head me right. I tried the phở, why? I was in a mood, and thought I’d try it for kicks. And guess what? It didn’t tasted like phở at all. So if you want phở, go next door to 234. =) The egg drop soup scared me. It was red! Since when is egg drop soup red. As for the wonton soup, I can’t tell you. There was soup but no wontons. The service here is nice. The wait staff was always there to fill my drink and take away my plates. The food on the other hand needs help. The place was pretty empty, but there are a ton of tables there. Maybe when the lunch rush comes in, fresher food might come out more often. Who knows. If I was to rate this place only on the hot and sour soup. It would get a light higher rating. I will blame a certain Unilocaler for me eating here(You know who you are). After all, what is more important? Me and a nice bowl of Phở or work! Geeze =)

Worst place ever!!! The food was not even warm even in the warmed bins. The steamed white rice was all sticky and the plastic was stuck to it ! GROSS! Definitely a waste of money. Never Again. Please don’t waste your money or time eating here.

I agree with a previous Unilocaler. This place smells awful. To me, it smelled like dirty dishwater & sour sponges. I actually saw a big bucket of dark gray(like charcoal briquets) dishwater right near the soda fountain. Ooooh that’s a bad sign for a restaurant.(Trivia: I worked for Marriott in the 1970s. We were not allowed to say the word«dishwater.» We had to call it «click.» Also, we were not allowed to say the word [rhymes with hag]. I can’t remember what the Mormon equivalent was for«cleaning cloth!» ‘D) The food was not good. I can pretty much eat anything, & I had trouble with the selections here. The steamed dumplings were so old(seemingly many more hours than just 1 day) I couldn’t chew them. You read that right: the outside was like the plastic packaging batteries come in. So imagine biting into a piece of that. When I leave food on my plate at a buffet, it’s a bad sign. I don’t like to go back for more & take a chance I’ll waste that, too. The service was great. The young man who served my soda was friendly & courteous without being intrusive. Also, the buffet was not expensive. Or maybe it was, considering I found at least 50% of the offerings to be unappetizing. There were quite a few families here, but overall the place was empty at dinnertime on a weeknight. I won’t return because I seriously question how the Health Department allows this restaurant to stay open.

Typical americanized chinese food. That said, food is not terrible. Clientele is very unsavory. Don’t leave your female party members alone at the table. I’ve seen pre-teens hit on by a table of hooligans as soon as mom and dad walk to the buffet.

Dirty atmosphere, greasy food, bad neighbourhood, always filled with large groups. Not so much recommendable…
