Target

Some of the employees in the electronics section need to be trained MUCH better. Ended up having to go to Best Buy to find what I needed.

Very clean. This is a great target and a great location. You can find almost anything in this target. Also you can use the cartwheel app.

I was returning 2 bumbo seats ($ 40 each) from my wife’s baby shower last week, sans gift receipt (thanks mom). The customer service rep (let’s call her Sue) said that was fine and gave me a gift card for the first one, but since the seats together the cost over $ 70 I was told I purchase something over $ 40 to exchange it. Store policy. I said fine and was back at customer service within 15 min with approximately $ 120 worth of store items. The same customer service rep then told me that because of a new Target policy, items can only be credited if the new in-​store purchase is made in the same department ie the Baby Dept (Side note: the $ 40 gift card I received for the first seat, was a store gift card, and therefore not limited to the Baby Dept) I asked why they hadn’t said this before, and the young girl lied (which I didn’t mind because she was like 22 and didn’t want to get in trouble) anyway I asked her call a supervisor to see if she could override, which the supervisor couldn’t. Then the super said she had to call a manager. 15 minutes later, Nancy (manager) came over and was explained the situation by the supervisor. Nancy turned to me and proceeded to tell me the same thing. I asked if she processed the returns separately, would that troubleshoot the $ 70+ policy. She said yes that would work, but she needed a second license to process the second return. I said that was fine, and asked my pregnant wife to come in from the car to give Nancy the license. She came in and gave Nancy the license. At that time Nancy asked me if I had «gone back to the baby section and found something I wanted to buy.» More surprising than (1. the fact she asked this question knowing I had been standing there with her the whole time and 2. the fact that she had my pregnant wife come into the store to give her license to Nancy and 3. I was holding the $ 40 Target gift card customer service had given me earlier for returning the first bumbo seat) was the fact that she asked me this deadpan, but was totally serious. I knew in this moment I was at the wrong end of a New Yorker cartoon, said thank you to Nancy, politely asked for the second seat back, and left the store.
I’m not going to say do not go to target. I like the store, and so does my wife. Just realize that if you have to return an item and you live in the vicinity of this Target store, drive to another one. If you do not heed this warning, know that Nancy will be waiting there to completely mess with your mind. #soboss

So, it’s a Target… why do I need to Unilocal it? The genius of placing a Target JUST off the Parkway, but BEFORE you get onto Rt. 72 to go to LBI is sheer business perfection. This place is always clean, always has whatever we’re looking for, and you get Target prices. Not LBI prices…

I really love this Target store! I shop at a lot of Target stores and this is by far one of the best. It’s always clean, well-​stocked, and it’s never been that busy even during the holidays! The staff is friendly and the cashiers always are smiling and friendly and ready to help. I also love that there’s a Starbucks here!

Target is one of those stores you really don’t mind visiting… except for the part where I have to carry my wife’s pocketbook so she can try things on. The store is well air conditioned and isles are spacious. They have a little of everything and prices are generally on par with the other stores or a bit better. Loads of parking. Hey they have a Starbucks coffee too!

This is the nicest most gorgeous lovely Target. It actually was built using the green comition guidelines. Their are parking spaces outside for green cars, carpools etc.
We generally stop in after a day at the beach. First stop the bathroom. Super squeaky clean bathrooms. Perfectly located right near the door.
It also seems like because the area is not as densely populated as south jersey and philly they always have more selection. More sizes and if you want something from like the liberty line or their special designers you are going to find it here!
Their starbucks is gorgeous and sunny. We have never stopped to sit down and enjoy it. However, they are always gracious about giving my mom a cup of ice with her tazo tea.

This Target in Manahawkin opened in late 2008. Given the newness of the store and the plaza that it is located in (Best Buy, Dicks, Costco), it is never crowded. Not sure why. It carries typical Target merchandise. You would think that this Target would try to stock more beachy and summer stuff given it’s proximity to LBI but they do not. There is a Starbucks inside.
Not an exciting Target but since the next closest Targets are in Brick or Toms River, it makes a good location.
