Subway

Each of the few times I’ve been in here, I’ve felt like I was bothering the people that worked there. I don’t expect you to be thrilled to be making my sandwich, but a smile and some eye contact is a customer service necessity. The two women on staff continued their conversation in Spanish while I was reading the three sandwich orders I needed. They made one and didn’t ask me if I wanted it toasted. When I told them I needed it toasted, they dramatically unmade the sandwich to toast it. Should I have been extra clear? Maybe, but that should be something they ask each and every time. As others have said, there are 40 more subway locations around not including real delis. Just go somewhere else.

The staff here is very rude. I’ve said it to your face I’ll say it on Unilocal along with the 1 star I’m going to rate you. It’s a good thing there are 10 other subways within 5 miles of here because the only thing that makes this location different is the substandard service. I was told I could not redeem my subway points at this location on more than 1 occasion. The machine always seems to be «broken» when it is time to redeem the points. Additionally, the restaurant is not clean! Tables surfaces are frequently left unwashed and disinfectants are not used! I saw them wiping the tables down with water from the soft drink fountain. The bathrooms were unsanitary and the whole restaurant was malodorous. I will never eat at this location again.

The place is clean, and the sandwiches are consistently acceptable. The staff isn’t particularly friendly nor do they speak English very well, but they don’t have to. One guy was particularly stingy with the vegetables, but I guess for $ 5, I can’t expect much! Overall decent and meets my expectations.

I very rarely go to Subway because I would rather go to a real deli. However I was in a bit of a rush so I went here. The person that made my sandwich also rung me up. She asked what I wanted, didn’t rush me, didn’t makes a face at me. She gave me good suggestions too, some of which I tried and she was right. I would go back here to this location, but not sure of some others.
