Just had my hair done today by Jess and I’m completely in love with it. She gave me exactly what I wanted. She took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. I highly recommend this salon. Everyone that works there is very friendly and makes you feel welcomed. I will definitely be going back! This has to be the best salon I’ve ever been to

Best Nail tech around ! Kim did my nails and they came out amazing !!!
I had gone to the same nail tech for over 7 years. Unfortunately, she moved to Florida about 4 years ago. Since then I wasn’t able to find someone who does my nails the way I wish. A good friend recommended Kim and I am so thankful !
She took the time to understand what I was looking for. Throughout the appointment she made sure it was still what I wanted. I knew I could be completely honest with her. She was so easy to talk to and is really a sweet woman.

Decided to try this place as i had just moved back to the area. Bad idea.
I’ll start with saying my hair cut is completely underwhelming. My hair was dead and i have really long hair and knew i needed to lose an inch or two but i lost all shape and style as well. I went from having long layers and a blunt straight across cut that just looks lame to be honest. Also, my stylist said not a word to me. At all. I never sat in silence for an entire hair cut before and it was so awkward. That’d have been one thing but the whole time my stylist continuously checked her phone and texted and at one point even answered a facetime call. So unprofessional. I honestly felt like i was annoying her by being there.
I went today to try them out because i wanted a salon to go to consistently because i needed a keratin treatment and wanted to do full colour that’ll need lots of maintenance and i have a daughter i also would’ve been bringing. This will obviously not be the place for that.

I’ve been with Beleza Salon for a little over a year now & the drive from Yonkers, NY is always absolutely worth it. I get my hair done with Jen and she has always guided and explained every hair decision I plan on having/​changing with every visit. One time I had a color change, went home and at night didn’t like the new look. I contacted them right away and they made me the first client of the next day schedule. Their professionalism is one of a kind and this is what keeps me coming back along with Jens Magic touch! It’s so hard to find a good, friendly, caring, welcoming, knowledgeable hair salon; but I’m happy I have found mine and highly recommend Beleza Salon to anyone that asks me where to get their hair done.

That Jessica must have deleted my review because it is now GONE! Went there in May 2015 for a full head of highlights. Within 3 weeks they were about an inch from my roots. Usually when I have them done elsewhere they last me about 3 months before a root touch-​up. I went back to her to give her a chance to fix her work 3 weeks later and she wanted to re-​charge me again, telling me «hair grows a half an inch a month» meanwhile I called 2 weeks after I went and her sister said she was on vacation and would be back in a week. So I had to go 3 weeks later instead of 2. She doesn’t care if you are a satisfied customer… just wants your $$$$. My advice is to go to a reputable salon. Those other 5 Star Reviews are from her friends.

I had a bayalage ombré done by Jess the owner. Within the first two weeks my hair that she made light turned bright orange! I have dark brown hair, so she said it would be harder to get the ash blonde color i wanted in one session (which is untrue). My friend that went to another salon in Mahopac, had the same top dark color as me and was able to have that ash blonde color achieved in ONE session. Jess had told me to come back, that she had to put a toner and I would be charged. I thought that was a little unfair being that i just had got it done 2 weeks ago, so she finally agreed to not charge me. About a week or so later, my hair had turned orange again, also SO uneven I’ve never seen something so horrible and uneven. I let Jess know and she told me she would have to redo my whole process, which would’ve been the same amount $ 200 that i paid the first time. It was completely her fault, she made it seem like it was mine when she should’ve done my hair for nothing. My hair was so dry, and damaged from whatever products she used. Jess liked to blame that i used hot tools to make my hair break, however the girl that fixed my hair even said it was from the bleach product she used. I have MAJOR breakage from what she did to my hair. I then went to another salon where the girl confirmed that jess had horribly damaged my hair. Would not recommend, go else where. Not good business people at all. My hair is now beyond perfect color and all from a different salon in Mahopac, although i still have dry damaged ends I’m beyond happy to not have orange hair. My previous Unilocal review got deleted, for whatever reason so I had to repost! Be so careful with who you let do your hair.

Just drove up from Manhattan because Jessie came highly recommended– and it was completely worth it! The color is one of the best I’ve gotten in my entire life and the cut is exactly what I needed. I have found my new salon and stylist! Couldn’t be happier with my experience!

Had my Balayage done by Jen and it came out beautiful. She is extremely professional and was so accommodating when I called to reschedule my appointment the last minute.

Very professional. Always get compliments on my hair. Girls really know color and cutting techniques. Been going to Jessie for 3 years. Can’t imagine going any place else. Customer service is the best and the head massage is the best! Very friendly atmosphere and the salon is beautifully designed.

I’ve been coming to Beleza since they opened. Jess does a fantastic job and all the girls greet you in a friendly manner. I also have Jess or Jen cut my toddlers hair and they are great.

Unfortunately deciding to enter this salon was the WORST most painful experience of my life. I entered the salon asking for a combination sombre/​balayage service. I brought pictures to be clear when describing the subtle look I wanted to achieve. I was then loaded up with foils and left for about 3.5 hours to process, at times being placed under heat lamps. Not only was the result nothing close to what I asked for (i went from beautiful brunette to almost completely blonde with orangey roots) but my hair was absolutely ruined beyond repair. The bleach ate through my fine curly hair leaving me with what can only be described as cotton candy. My beautiful curls were gone and over the next 4 weeks I cried as I watched my hair break, fall off and fall out. I am a medical professional and deal with the public on a daily basis. I am required to look presentable and in order to do so I had no other choice but to have hair extensions placed (at a different salon ofcourse) to cover the damage and loss of my hair. Prior to my extensions I tried returning to Beleza and speaking with one of the owners, explaining that my hair texture had basically melted. Her response to my dismay «.anyone can come in here and say they don’t like the hairstyle they got.» refusing to refund any of the $ 200 I spent there I was sent away with a couple of free conditioning products. I couldn’t have imagined a worse experience. I have since spent over $ 2000 on my hair and will have to continue to spend more for the extensions until my hair grows in to an acceptable length (many broken pieces are pixie short!) My warning to you about this salon… STEER CLEAR!

I have been coming here since 2005. Love the girls. They are honest and non-​pretentious. I go to Jen and if she is busy I will see Jessie. Love my color and style. They always listen to my concerns and give me an honest opinion. The salon is recently renovated. Appointments are always on time. Very professional and accommodating. Very recommendable.

So professional and informative. Beautiful salon, great color scheme and comfortable chairs and wash stations! Jen is an amazing hair stylist, and I love how they take before and after pictures for you. Love them!
