If you’re not going to have attentive salespeople in the shoe department, then I would suggest putting the shoe boxes on the sales floor so we can self-​serve.

Much like any other store by the same name. I just picked up some golf clubs for my wife and the golf pro was very nice and helpful. I with I would have written his name down to add to this.

Nashville, TN
When it comes to big box, non-​local sports stores, Dick’s is big in Nashville. Going head-​to-​head with Academy Sports across the street, there are some difference, mostly in price between to the two stores. I find the men’s apparel a bit more diverse at Dick’s, but find the selection of other sports items to not be as good.
The staff is friendly and/​but hands-​off (however you want to look at that one). You can ALWAYS find parking thanks to the lot size and location. While Dick’s isn’t my first choice in Nashville, it’s certainly a good option.
