I had such a great experience here! I went a couple weeks ago for my wedding dress and I went back today with my bridesmaids to get there dresses. Both times I requested Meg and she was wonderful! I cannot say enough great things about my experience at this David’s Bridal last night. I had an amazing time searching for my wedding dress – and I found it! I arrived a bit early for my bridal appointment, so I started talking to Bobbie, the store manager, about some styles I was interested in seeing. She started pulling the dresses for me ahead of time and talked to me about what I was looking for. She was so friendly and helpful while I waited for my consultant. Teonka, my consultant, was just awesome. She greeted me with a huge smile on her face and told me what to expect during the appointment. She grabbed the proper undergarments for me to put on, and soon she was with me in the dressing room helping me get in and out of dresses. The first 3 or 4 dresses were not the one, but each time I had one on, Teonka asked me questions to try and hone in on what I was looking for. After the 4th dress, she said she’d be right back and came back with 3 more choices based on my feedback. Among those 3 dresses was THEONE! Great job, Teonka! Teonka went above and beyond and gave me a quick updo hairstyle since I’ll be wearing my hair up on the big day. Towards the end of my appointment, she even pulled me away from my mom and aunt while I was wearing the dress to give me a moment to process everything. She told me to close my eyes and think about my fiancé – the most important thing to me in this whole process – and that’s when the happy tears started flowing. I’m glad I found the dress, but I had such a great time, I almost wish I had a reason to try on more! Thank you, Bobbie and Teonka, for making my shopping experience a celebration and not a chore! A++! I urge you to give this shop a try!

Wonderful experience! From the moment we walked in the door, store manager made us feel super welcome. Our consultant! Teonka was on spot in helping my daughter find the perfect dress. Is this new management? I cannot imagine giving this location anything less than 5 stars based on our experience today and several other times for wedding party dresses. On the other hand, a certain warehouse down the street has unbelievably unprofessional staff and subpar quality fabrics. I can’t wait until the beautiful day of my daughter’s wedding. Thanks Bonnie and Teonka for being wonderful!

Never go there !!! Three before my wedding they messed up a second dress! Then lied to area manger about situation good thing I had a witness of three other brides who where there! Still trying to get a refund!

Full Disclosure: I have a relative who works for David’s Bridal. However, that does not get me a discount, head-of-the-line privileges, or any other benefits. But it’s not because I didn’t ask. When my wife said she needed a special occasion dress, I had no idea that meant four separate trips to the store: (1) Select style and order dress, (2) Pick up dress, and make appointment for alterations(closer to time of the event), (3) Get fitted for alterations, and finally (4) Pick up dress. I have never put that much effort into buying an outfit, but she loves the dress and looks gorgeous in it, so I am a happy man. It must be pretty obvious that I’m not exactly at home in a bridal shop, since they always offered me the«guy» seat at the back of the store. So I got to play with my phone and give my opinion when asked. It also gave me the opportunity to make a couple of observations: The first was that shoppers who showed up on time for their appointments were the most satisfied. People that showed up early didn’t seem to be helped any earlier. And people who showed up late got really delayed or rescheduled. And brides-to-be should shop with ONE person whose opinion they really, really trust. Bring two advisers at most. Seriously. Prospective brides that brought their entire bridal party or their extended family got more help than they could possibly use. They also got some really bad advice mixed in with the good, and once everyone’s feelings got hurt, nobody left happy.

I just left David’s and had a great experience. Devon was my consultant and she was great! Never felt pressures by her. I started with about 10 dresses then worked my way down to 3 then down to 2. Went back and for the between the 2. She never seemed to be annoyed; always very patient. Kendra is another consultant that was so sweet and would come by and give her 2 cents. And the manager Pat was also stopping by to check on me, she was so sweet too! The prices are awesome but I gave it 4 stars because of how expensive the veils and alterations are. Kinda felt like those were very very overpriced… but ur already there so what can u do? My advice is definitely get an appointment. I would try to make it a weekday if possible. Almost all of the dresses need alterations so u might research having that done somewhere else and get an idea of costs before u go(my dress was $ 1100 and the alterations were $ 300, veil $ 200, to give u an idea) Ultimately I had a great experience.

If you want to leave this store with tears in your eyes… Or leave with your $ 2,000 dress in a huge plastic trash bag… By all means, give it a whirl! This place is truly awful. The«manager» is the most disrespectful retail worker I’ve ever came in contact with in my entire life. There are plenty of other affordable wedding dress boutiques in Nashville that would LOVE your business. UGH.

This place is terrible! They are always insanely busy… even if you make an appointment. I went there to look at bridesmaid dresses, twice, and it was a horrible experience. It does not give you a positive bridal experience and the women that work there are terribly rude. I would highly discourage anyone from going to this store.

first of all i should say that i never planned on going to david’s. however i found the knock off of the $ 3,000 dress i loved for only $ 300. i knew that a lot of people have had problems with them before i went, which was good. it kept me on my toes. i had two main problems with david’s. #1) my dress. they ordered it for me, which i was glad of. i didn’t want a used dress or one that everyone who had come in the store had tried on. everything was fine until i went to pick my dress up. the lady at the counter was rude and acted like she was too busy to help me. before anything else she tried to get me to sign a paper that said i accepted the dress as is, ect. i refused and told her that i at least wanted to see the dress before i signed anything like that. and guess what … the dress had a big hole in it. the manager finally came out and since i still had time(thank goodness!) they ordered me a new dress. this new dress is fine. but that was an ordeal and no one was very helpful. #2) bridesmaid dresses. i had picked out bridesmaid dresses at david’s also. my consultant told me that they were going to be discontinued next year(this was in november) and that as long as i got all of my orders in before christmas it would be fine. the day my last bridesmaid went in to be fitted they had discontinued it. so i was just s.o.l. and i had to go find a complete new dress. even if these two things had not happened i would still not be giving david’s any more stars. that’s because of smaller things like lazy employees, not the best quality merchandise, and their corporate mentality(meaning that they have enough business that they don’t have to care whether you are happy or not). if you do find a dress here do not get it altered here!
