Jans Wine And Boos Liquor Store And Cafe

This is a great mom and pop liquor store located in a strip plaza in Lutz. They have a solid selection of wine and spirits to choose from, the staff is always super friendly, and the prices are competitive with that of other liquor stores.
This liquor store is also a bar. I haven’t actually sat at the bar and enjoyed a drink however I have been in there and noticed that they do have karaōke and various other things going on. They’re always seems to be a lively crowd and everyone seems to be having fun.
If you need a place to pick up some wine or spirits or feel like chilling out in a small local bar I recommend giving this place a try.

This place is OK, but it’s really depressing. It’s a local place, half liquor store half bar. Saturday afternoons really slow. Kind of a hole in the wall.

My favorite local wine bar recently closed & I have avidly been looking for a new once.
Jan’s is a bit off the beaten track & not really in my area, but I love it.
½ of it is a wine & liquor store & the other half a quaint oasis with liqueor and great wine. This is the friendly type of place where everyone talks to each other. Very homey, unpretentious and friendly.
They sell some primo meats & cheese, make sure to try the port & cheddar cheese, so good!
They don’t sell any prepared food, but feel free to order from 1 of the restaurants in the shopping center or go to Publix & buy whatever you’d like to eat. This indulgence is encouraged & welcomed to keep their customers happy.
This is kind of a small establishment, but on different nights they offer karaōke, trivia & other entertainment.
Such a great place with knowledgeable and friendly staff. It sure doesn’t take long for you to feel right at home, I know I do & I can’t wait to return.
What’s a girl to do? A wine bar that fits you perfectly is hard to find.

First off, thanks to the new owner Chuck, for all his help! I love a man who knows his alcohol.
There are so many other suppliers in town that never have a decent and consistent collection. This store is wonderfully organized and clean. The hours are also convenient, especially on a Sunday evening when you remember that tomorrow is Monday and the only thing to numb the pain is a nice classy beverage. Really, all I need to add is a cigar and bathrobe and I’d be oozing class.
I would much rather come here and learn something about what I’m drinking, rather than wandering around a big box seller looking for something to drink.
I’ll be back soon to try to the bar and cheese selection. Can’t wait!

This is a great little bar with a very good wine selection! They also sell liquor and have a nice little gourmet cheese selection. Do yourself a favor and try the Roaring Forties Blue Cheese from Australia, creamy and dreamy. The bar is small but they do have a few tables.
