I recently had a massage with Tom in lutherville. Wow. It was so good. Im impressed with the building too… very massage therapy appropriate.

This is a very nice, cozy feeling massage center. The people are very nice and really seem to love what they do. The massage was not quite as good as Ojas(my favorite), but was very good.

The last review must be a joke. Honestly, this is by far the worst massage I have ever received. Ever. I went in for a prenatal massage with Jessie after getting the groupon and she was very thorough in telling me what to expect, made me feel comfortable, it was clean and quiet, etc. But when the massage begin, I legitimately thought it was a joke with how terrible it was. First, the fluorescent lights stayed on in the room so it was impossible to relax and not have a bright light shining in my eyes. But more importantly, she didn’t massage. She just lightly ran her hands down my body. No technique, no massaging whatsoever. With my legs and hands, she literally squirt oil on them, ever so lightly brushed her hands down them for about 30 seconds and moved on. and I could feel the oil dripping down. I couldn’t WAIT for it to end. I tried contacting spa, but couldn’t get a hold of a manager. Worst worst worst. Please save your money!

The Timonium location is beautiful and Jennifer S. is the best massage therapist I’ve seen in years! I initally tried The Healing Path because of their Groupon offer, but I’ve made it a monthly routine as a Be Well member because of the exceptional value, convenient location, evening hours, and the neuromuscular work Jennifer does.

I had a colonic with Mary a few weeks back and WOW! She was so awesome in making my first colonic a positive experience. We talked prior to the appointment about how it may help me and what I needed to know to prepare for my session. I’ve had multiple colonoscopies at a very young age and had that embedded in my memory, but this was NOTHING like a colonoscopy. This was very relaxing from the moment I walked into her room with the music and aromatherapy, the room is very gorgeous! Even though she had already explained everything before we began, she still explained every step of the process as we proceeded. She’s so sweet, and has an awesome vibe about her that I naturally relaxed and wasn’t anxious once we got started. She never left my side and was more than willing to answer any questions I had. I learned so much and have been telling EVERYONE about Mary and the awesome colonic I got at The Healing Path. I know a few more who are planning on scheduling with her. After my session I connected with Mary and it was truly a positive experience from start to finish. Thank you!

I went in to the Healing Path to use a Groupon for a 60 minute Prenatal Massage. This was my fourth prenatal massage, and the fourth place I’ve tried(all were Groupons or Livingsocial deals). This is the only one where I’ve scheduled a followup appointment to return. Décor is lovely, the spa is very clean and the people are very friendly. There is a sign outside, but it is small to see from busy York Road, especially if you are traveling southbound. It is across from Watson’s Garden Center, but if you are coming from the north, you will pass The Healing Path on your left just before you get to the Garden Center. I didn’t have trouble finding it, but I checked it out first on Google maps. My massage was with Jessie, who sat with me for a while before the session and asked a lot of questions about how I was feeling and went into detail about what she would be doing, making sure that I was ok with everything(since pregnant ladies can have some aches and pains and some places where they don’t want to be touched). She also went into detail about what positions I would be in, which is especially helpful if you’re not used to prenatal massage — which is different from normal massage since you cannot lay on your back or your stomach. She also let me know that she doesn’t normally do a lot of talking during the massage, which is PERFECT for me because I dislike talking during a massage, too! The massage was the best prenatal massage that I’ve had. It was very, very relaxing. She worked the stress out of my back and also used cold stones on my face, which felt really good, especially since we’re experiencing an early heat wave right now(this was also optional). Not a lot can be done with legs during pregnancy because of pressure points that can induce contractions, but Jessie still used light touch which was SO relaxing that I almost fell asleep — a first for me for any massage. I highly recommend the Healing Path for prenatal massage. I’ve tried many in the Hunt Valley/Cockeysville/Timonium area and this one was definitely my favorite. Warning: Gratuity is not accepted on credit cards, which I didn’t know before I got there. Be sure to bring cash!

The reason for 2 stars, is b/c the description for it fits perfectly: «Meh…» Pretty good(nothing to write home about) massage; the actual business itself has quite a few kinks to work out. Such as: no exterior sign, failure to communicate this to new clients; credit card machines that don’t work.(It took me at least 10 – 15 minutes to check out). Because of having no signage, I was late for my appointment and wasted time driving around. The space is quite nice and clean, as other reviewers said. The intake form had all sorts of questions about personal history of abuse, and I have never seen that before(I’ve been my fair share of spas).

Had a great massage by Jennifer. Welcomed once I walked in the door. Very calm, relaxing environment. Great massage. Made me feel very comfortable. Enjoyed the oils. Will be back!

Beautiful clean day spa. Lovely décor, beautiful art on the walls, and quiet. The massage was just ok. It was my least favorite kind where the massage therapist spends all the time on one particular place, kneading with one thumb as if I were a loaf of bread with one tiny lump of flour that needs blending. I am terrible at stating«I don’t like that» during a massage, so I’m equally bad for not speaking up and giving Jennifer a chance to do something else. I would be willing to go back and try a different masseuse because the space is so lovely. Also strange and worth noting, the info packet that you fill out upon arrival includes questions like«Have you ever been physically/mentally/verbally abused?» Personally, if any of these events happened, I’m not sure I’d share them with a massage therapist or have them entered into a database somewhere that I don’t have control over. I would respectfully and politely recommend to the owner of the spa to remove such questions from the info packet. I *really* liked that I could book my appointment online without having to talk to anyone on the phone. Online bookings are the coolest invention ever.
