Tortilla soup is tasty. Caldo was a bit spicy. Once a server realized we had been seated, service was excellent.

Great food! If you like Jaliscos on Q you’ll love this place! It’s pretty much the same food. I thought I was at Jaliscos. Salsa tastes just like it. Maybe they are owned by the same people? Regardless, it’s a great place to eat!

Excellent food and excellent service. We stopped here based on the Unilocal reviews as we were traveling through Lubbock. It was our first time to eat here and it won’t be our last. It’s definitely not Tex-Mex. You get the real thing here. The tacos were some of the best I’ve had along with the chips and salsa. My husband had fajitas with mushrooms and bacon. The meat was tender, flavorful, and wonderful. We were definitely be back.

Salsa has awesome flavor… this was the best of what I had. My wife plate was awesome… I had breakfast skillet… nothing special at all… short changed me on the potatoes and eggs were over cooked. Wife has an awesome plate, only issue was the steak was way over cooked. The menudo had NO flavor at all… Serve was fast and friendly. We will try them again

Terrific place. Authentic Mexican food. Live music completes the environment. I would go as far to say that this is the best place in Lubbock for mexican food.

Hidden gem! Must try. The wait staff is very polite, quick to service without hovering. 2nd time here and just as good and authentic as first time. Don’t let exterior fool you.

I am very picky about Mexican cuisine and this is by far one of the best authentic restaurants I have ever been too. Great chips and and the salsa is good. The enchiladas are awesome and the rice is very good. Very well seasoned and the chile rellenos are very well made. The ambience is nice. Not loud. Televisions are spaced around so you can watch, and music plays in the backgrounds. Good place to eat with friends and watch the game or have a cold beer. Keep the menu!

Excellent Mexican food and perfect customer service! Also, Everet had the michelada and describes it as «exquisito» and the tripas are«authentico»!

Looking for a breakfast place in Lubbock and dropped in here. Even though we were too late for breakfast they still accommodated by allowing me to order an egg dish. It was very good authentic Mexican with chorizo and potatoes. Flour tortillas were homemade and very good. My GF had a tamale plate with chili Colorado. Other than the beans being«out of the can» as she calls them, it was also very good. We’d definitely drop back in if we’re on this side of town.
