I love Yoshinoya I just can’t get enough of this place. Place is clean, friendly and cheap. I would def. come here again! Staff was supper friendly and we enjoyed our time here. Although we were at the hospital for a sad situation. Yoshinoya made us happy !

Really bad service. Came in and literally bought a combo bowl and this is what I got… 3 pieces of chicken and a fork of meat. When I talked to the cook asking why is this portion so small. He replied«that’s what they told me since food has gotten higher»

I went in at around 10pm to buy some food and they had no rice. How does yoshinoya have no rice? I then asked for ginger and no ginger as well. This is not the first time this has happened.

I’m a fan of yoshinoya I’ve been to this location 4 times. I still come here when I have classes. There service is awesome and really fast, just there beef strips are salty and the other also salty or too much white wine a vinegar taste. I hope they improve in the sodium. Next time I’ll try on the side to see if it taste better. I’ve been over 8 locations of yoshinoya and this one doesn’t taste the same or as good as the other ones

This yoshinoya location is cleanest one I’ve ever been to! There’s parking in the back which is also very convenient. The service is awesome, really nice cashier. Make sure to ask for soy sauce/pepper/ginger!

Very clean location, convenient parking in the back, fast and friendly service. There’s a decent amount of seating inside but can get crowded.

Beware of a rude young woman that works there. She wear glasses, her hair is black and wears it in bangs and looks like she’s still in junior high school and even acts it. I ordered from her and she had no concept of customer service or social skills to work with. She couldn’t make eye contact and didn’t even say thank you after handing me back my credit card back. I ended up getting a refund and it had to be from some ugly fat woman manager who was just as rude. I had to haggle just to get my money back. I don’t recommend this place.

This place gets really busy during lunch time coz of the LA-USC employees. Service is somewhat fast. They have parking at the back which is a good thing. I’m so happy I had Yoshinoya today :)

In reference to a recent post I just read here: Catalina is hard-working and experienced. She is efficient. She is very focused and I would not say she is rude. I’m here at 10 pm and she is cleaning the whole floor, moving heavy tables(the booth kind) and keeping the place spotless — in addition, she strattles taking orders. So, let’s be fair here: service is A-ok ~ of course, everyone is unique! I’m glad this place is here and creating jobs! it’s conveniently located. Some Of the Staff who work here used to work at the store in Lincoln Heights and always take care of business~

Really nice place. Very clean. Everything was really good the only problem and the reason why i give it two stars, is because of the customer service. Carolina helped us out at about 10:45. She had such a bad attitude and a fml face. Customer service is very important to me. No matter where you go. So i expect better specially when it’s a brand new place.

Surprisingly good. The food was very fresh. I had the grilled tilapia with white rice and cole slaw, and it was delicious. As long as they keep up the quality, I’ll go back. The place is new so it’s very clean. The service was a little slow. I worry how it will be during lunch rush.

I was paying a visit to my doctor at Keck School of Medicine, which is on the opposite side of the county hospital(on San Pablo) and wanted to grab a bite to eat and I realized that Yoshinoya opened up(after a long time of being in construction). Let me say that I had only been to one other Yoshinoya prior to this experience as most stores are old looking and I had the idea that the food wasn’t good. I decided to give it a try, considering the ornate décor and cleanliness of this particular location. The menu seems quite heathy for a fast food chain. I ordered an Angus beef bowl with a side of steamed veggies. The beef was super juicy and succulent. I also got a flan for dessert and honestly it was so good for being a packaged product. I’m addition, the lady who took my order was very sweet(didn’t catch her name) she was very patient with me. Anyway, I had a great experience and I’m now looking for a Yoshinoya near where I live since this location is only good for when I have a doctors visit.

This restaurant just opened up so I thought I’d give it a try. The chicken tasted different, I’ve been to a yoshinoya before and it did not taste right did not taste like chicken. The veggies tasted sour and did not taste fresh tasted as if they were spoiled and have been sitting for a few hours. If I could give the food here anything lower than a star I would. I dont think i will be back here again.

Came here yesterday and got the beef bowl, it was really good and fresh! The cashier told me they opened earlier this week. The place was super clean and modern compared to some other yoshi’s I have gone to. Will be back!!! :)

Yoshinoya finally opened its doors yesterday at this new building across from LACUSC Medical Center… and what a wait it’s been! As Ana Z. mentioned, it’s a modern décor inside with a good number of tables as well as a number of bar seating facing the window. Service was quick given the amount of people who decided to pay this place a visit during the lunch rush. I definitely welcome more choices to the area, especially something that’s different from the Mexican cuisine found in the area. For my first visit, I decided to go with the regular Chicken bowl. At $ 4.89, it came with about 4 pieces of chicken and veggies over rice. It would have been nice if the chicken were cut into smaller pieces or if there was just more of it! I guess I should order a large next time. The veggies were a bit bland without the teriyaki sauce. Overall, I’m glad there are now more food options in the area!
