Just ate here. I like the new style they have set up. It’s very similar to Panda Express or chipotle. The orange chicken was really crispy and the sauce had a nice tangy orange flavor. I ordered the squash veggie side with white rice as well. The only weird thing is that if you ask for brown rice they tell you it takes ten minutes. I feel that they tell everyone this and no one orders it. Good experience. I would go back again.

This Yoshinoya location just got upgraded. Also the menu has changed. Since this place just got upgraded, it is very clean. There is also free and plenty of parking spaces!

I went there twice within two weeks and the cashier there(Yasmine) couldn’t comprehend my order when I asked her to give me just beef on the side with no rice. Also I ordered steak bowl with no sauce but they barely gave me meat and filled the bowl with rice. Won’t be coming here again.

Way too slow! There were 5 people working and only one guy taking orders. I waited 12 minutes just to place my order! This is supposed to be fast food? And then on top of that they didn’t get my order right. And by the time I left the line was to the door and still just one cashier.

Get this, this restaurant is not a five star $ 75.00 a plate place one finds on Melrose or third. it is just what it represents itself to be. fast food… but for what it is it is wonderful. The beef very tasty although admittedly a bit fatty, rice fluffy and tasty, especially when the ginger is added, and the vegetable(although clearly frozen) were crisp, flavorful. for the price this place is the best, skip the new egg rolls that replaced a rather good gyoza

I wish I could put a half or no star! I have been eating Yoshinoya since I was a teen and I have always taken it for the simple fast food Japanese bowl place that it is. But today I was very disgusted by my food. The beef was more fatty than ever before. I actually sat here with my bare hands and pulled all the fat off the beef and ended up with a pile more than double the size of the beef that was left. Waste of money and now I have a stomach ache from the two bites I did take. Not sure who’s job it is to make sure this doesn’t happen, but they should be FIRED!

Bad bad service. came in here on Saturday around 649 pm. The girl patty is doing everything on her own. There’s a huge line yet her Co worker Edmaniel, I believe I might be misspelling his name, well he was cleaning tables in a very low pace. He sees his Co worker handling all the orders and the line and he did not help her out. Another gentleman said he was here for over 20 minutes waiting on his order. His food had been ready for 15 minutes yet he didn’t receive it. He could see it on the counter. He then asked for a refund. I don’t blame him. They need to retrain their staff.

The hours posted on the window says closes at midnight. I passed by on a Friday at 10PM and they were already closed. Don’t post a sign that says close at midnight if your already shutdown by 10PM.

A solid three for serving standard Yoshinoya dishes. I’ve been here a number of times. The service is good and the food is decent. I prefer this than eating a burger.

So this was the second time I decided to get food from here, and by far worst experience. I ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl with no veggies, from the guy at the front and he was nice and his customer service was awesome that wasnt that problem. The problem began after I ordered I had left to go get something fron another store and what I remember is there was a chicken teriyaki bowl with veggies that had been sitting there since I had first ordered. When I came back after 10 min I saw the same bowl still sitting there. The manager told the boy that took my order to give me that plate even though the other employees said that, that order was not mine and had been sitting there. The manager got mad and told him to do it anyway knowing you’re not supposed to leave chicken out like that. When he gave it he knew it was wrong. My friend who was with me told him we asked for no veggies the boy was nice and changed the order, the manager turns to the poor guy and starts to yell at him about mistakes. Im mad because she was blaming him for her mistake. The manager needs to relax and needs to work on her customer service. Also its very unprofessional for her to yell at the other employees in front of the customers.

This place is a joke I arrived at 0742pm on 5÷3÷2014 and I wanted my chicken cut the original style and the cook advice me it was going to take 1 minute for the chicken and gave me a disappointing look just because I wanted the chicken cut the original way. It was 8pm and I asked about my food when all the people before had left after me I was left and the cook still told me 5 more minutes for the chicken to cook!!! I was what??? and disappointed!!! This is my first and last time coming here to this location they need a better service and trained their employees! I left at 0810pm it took 30 minutes to get my food !!!

I’m not much of a fast-food buff, but as far as Japanese joints, this place is as basic as it can get. The poor staff was overwhelmed that day as they tried to teach the new trainee and this was the slowest«fastfood» I’ve ever had. Due to the location in the city, it didn’t surprise me that inside the restroom was filthy either. Oh well…

So I haven’t been the biggest fan of yoshinoya because in the 90’s their rice was mushy, their beef was stringy and imitation tasting… Overall there was nothing to write home about. Well things have changed. The food is actually good and dare I say I’m now a fan. How could they make such a turn around? It’s the simple things. 1. You come in and there’s a hello and good service. 2. The meats taste great. The beef tastes like beef lol and the chicken is fantastic. 3. The rice is not mushy; it’s fluffy and delicious just like rice is supposed to be. The verdict: Upon ordering they offer you coupons. I will take upon myself to use every coupon they gave me.

I hadn’t been to Yoshinoya since I was 5,(about 21years ago). It was memorably bad. Moving close to one I decided to try it once again, hoping that it had changed. I ordered the regular chicken bowl. The sauce was the only thing that made this edible. The quality of the chicken was very low. It left an aftertaste akin to eating feces. I went to the yogurtland across the parking lot to get an ice cream and remove the taste of that meal from my mouth. A tip to Yoshinoya, raise your prices and sell quality food. I would have paid a few more dollars for that bowl if the food was a little better quality wise.

I have been boycotting Yoshinoya for some time now since trying Mako Bowl. However, that has changed. I recently ate at this particular Yoshinoya after feeling compelled by hunger and curiosity. I am glad I did. The food was delicious! I ordered a beef bowl out of indifference and I was quite impressed with the flavor and the quality. In the past Yoshinoya was pasty rice and slimy vegetables, but this last experience was hot, fluffy rice; hot, crisp vegetables; and hot, flavorful beef. I gobbled it all down and wished I had ordered a larger bowl. This particular Yoshinoya is in «the hood» but the service and the quality were very good. The restrooms could have been a little less dingy, but I understand that is often a reflection of the people who use them and only partially a fault of the restaurant.

Clean and ample seating — it’s located in the Ralph’s plaza. The portion size seems to be a bit inconsistent. I probably ate here 4 days in a row for lunch and the amount of beef and veggies in the beef & veggie big bowl varied from«yay!» to «that’s it???»
