It was ok. I’m not going back. I had the orange chicken, which was not Orange chicken. The egg drop soup was disgusting. It’s worth a try.

Wow — I always thought this place was delicious but that changed today. They forgot my soda — a very simple item. Note, the restaurant is 3 blocks away and they walk the order down. The delivery guy said he would come back with the soda, I said no problem take your time. 5 min later, I get a call from owner and she had the nerve to ask me to «take a freebie for next time» for their mess up. Being so close and thirsty as hell(I am moving currently, I have nothing here in my home to drink!) I refused her offer of a freebie for next time, and said I needed the soda that I had paid for — again, I am walking distance from this restaurant so one wouldn’t think it was a problem. Nope, they totally blew me off and didn’t return with the drink, and didn’t answer their phone when I called. Who does that? Like really??? You think it’s okay because it’s only $ 1.25? LOL! Wow… seriously…in a way that is stealing, it doesn’t matter how much it is. Do you even respect your customers? Especially ones that have been supporting you for 8+ years? Apparently not.

Eh chicken chow mein was not what I was hoping for. Hot and sour soup was good though. $ 17 for both. Probably won’t be returning.

Went to Chinese VIP this past Sunday at noon. The woman waitress looked like she was either half asleep or had just woken up. Myself and a friend ordered the shrimp fried rice and the ‘salt &* pepper chicken. We were the only customers in the restaurant. The rice was very bland and had a few shrimps which were large. Most notably in balance to the shrimp the rice had virtually nothing else in it(vegetables, seasoning) to make that dish taste good. It was flat. The ‘salt & pepper’ chicken came next. it came as pieces of chicken that were ‘breaded and fried’. Nowhere on the menu did it say that the dish was ‘fried’ which for me was bad because I cannot digest fried foods. The waitress said that ‘all of our food is fried.’ That is good for a returning customer and not good for someone who was not warned and not eaten there before. This is horrible communication from both the menu and the server, whom I had mentioned looked like she didn’t want to be there and was dressed to go back to sleep. The waitress apologized and said that ‘sometimes she remembers to explain and sometimes she does not.’ That’s great. I will never eat there again. My girlfriend took the chicken home in a doggy bag to eat later. THEYDONOTHAVEDESCRIPTIONSOFTHEDISHESONTHEIRMENU. THISIS A BADSIGNFORTHEUNINITIATED!

My friend and I went to the Chinese VIP Restaurant on Sunday afternoon. There were no other customers. The senior Chinese waitress had a dour attitude and looked like she was still wearing her bed clothes covered by an apron. We ordered shrimp fried rice and the salt/pepper chicken. The rice was bland and unimaginative. There weren’t many shrimp but really no other vegetables to carry it. The salt/pepper chicken was fried. I cannot eat food fried in batter. Nowhere on the menu does it state that this plate is «fried». The waitress apologized stating that“all of our plates are fried«. Okay, so how is someone who has never been to this restaurant know this? Overall very dumb, naïve, owners. Not consumer friendly if they think that the customer has to read their minds. The waitress needs to wake up and learn basic customer service skills.

GOODFOOD! Delivery was on time and food was hot. Chicken Chow Mein and salted pepper chicken was the business! Will for sure order from them again!

The waitress gave us the most hostile vibe I was extremely put off… She would ignore our calls, give us a bratty attitude, and, oh yea, the water was from the tap… They also reused side dishes from previous customers leftovers… The food is far from mediocre… WAITEDANHOURFORCOLDFOOD?! She treated every customer in the restaurant with enthusiasm and hospitality, but every time she came to my table, she wouldn’t even bat an eye? Hopefully this place is shut down because i don’t know how anyone could return here. LITERALLY the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. Period.

This was about everything you would expect for a delivery food style service… Our order came in a reasonable amount of time, 35 minutes, and the food was delicious. We had the shrimp fried rice, orange chicken and broccoli with oyster sauce. Everything tasted yummy.

Pretty sure this is a front for some other kind of business because the food is not only inedible and disgusting, but can and will likely make you sick. I deeply, deeply regret ordering from here. One star only because I cannot give a negative number of stars. BEAFRAID. BEVERYAFRAID.

I would give this place negative stars if that were possible. I ordered from them a few nights ago and will never make that mistake again. Our food arrived 2 hours after the order was placed. Not only was our food super cold, but our entrée wasn’t even what we ordered. They also forgot half of our order. When I called to complain, the woman who answered the phone was very rude and basically told us «tough shit. Don’t ever order from us ever again». Yeah. I took one bite of whatever it was(could not tell because pile of sauce on top of nondescript meat) and it was just as awful as it looked. The fried rice wasn’t even worth eating. This place sucks so hard.

Are you hungry and about to call for a delivery? STOP!!! Man, it took almost 2 hours. The noodles were cold, fried entrée and appetizer were soggy, and soup was warm.

This place should be killing it, only delivery in the area. I ordered orange chicken. Tasted neither like orange nor chicken. Slimy and not sure it was cooked through. Ate a few pieces then put the whole thing in the garbage. Waste of money and food. They should scale back on their huge portions and focus on the quality. I don’t give out 1 stars ever. This is a one star.

I arrived home after work around 7.00 on a Monday night and was starving. Being new to the area and craving Chinese food, I had no idea where to order from. I knew one thing, I wanted delivery. I placed an order quickly without reading any Unilocal and then begun to read what seemed to be many bad reviews. My expectations were already low and I started to regret my choice. ORDER: kung pao chicken and wontons TOTAL: $ 20.26 DELIVERY: It took only 30 minutes, if that, for them to be at my front door with very hot food in hand. The Kung pao chicken was nothing to die for but it also wasn’t horrendous. RECOMMENDED: I would probably order from them again when craving simple Chinese take out or delivery, I say give them a try. SIDENOTES: I figured the fried wontons would have pork inside of them so when they arrived and when I read another Unilocal about how they were just fried wo town I was disappointed, however they are exactly what the menu says: «fried wontons». Whoops. Cheers and happy eating.

The food here is okay. It’s good for a quick bite. I mainly gave it 4 stars because of the service. They welcome you and make you feel at home. Such a friendly place.

Though not the cleanest of places, this little restaurant reminded me of a typical small restaurant in China(which I visited not too long ago). Nothing fancy but the food was pretty good, though very salty. I took the chicken broccoli which was not swimming in sauce like most places– also they did not skimp out on chicken or broccoli. It also came with an ok eggroll which was part of the lunch menu(no soup because I took takeout). I also took fried rice which was tasty and had chunks of chicken as well– again they didn’t cheap out on the chicken. Everything was pretty ok quality and the service was relatively fast. Ill be coming again for any chinese cravings as its really close to home.

I’ve never dined in their restaurant and have always did pick up since I live a block away. Their phone etiquette is very blunt so it was off-putting initially, but the food makes up for it. I’m a simple person, and once I try something, I stick with it. I usually get the sweet and sour shrimp or chicken dinners. When I first tried them out, I got the orange peel chicken; definitely wasn’t a fan. Another reviewer said it’s a hit or miss and that’s true: sometimes the fried rice and come out amazing, sometimes it’s ridiculously salty. The meat portions are always great though.

I ended up in this spot after multiple(failed) attempts at finding a decent spicy noodle soup. So my entourage and I come in are seated quickly, given menus, and water. Quick note: the menu is pretty extensive and has no pictures. Which is a major disappointment. We ordered the fried wontons, pan fried dumplings, shrimp fried rice, and(of course) spicy noodle soup. It didn’t take long for our food to get to our table and my god the servings were plentiful. We were three people, we shared everything, and we still had enough left over of each item to take home. Food is pretty decent absolutely not for those health conscious, but who cares right it’s Friday, haha.

This place is grim. Not a very warm or welcoming environment inside. If you’re in need of a quick bite, I suppose you could do worse(a scuzzy McDonalds is right across the street) but you could also do a lot better. I ordered chicken chow mein on my first visit. I usually test new Chinese restaurants with an order of sweet and sour chicken, but something about the fact they didn’t have a health grade posted in the store front made me weary of the meat. Anyways, I walked in, ordered to go and was on my way in about 10 – 12 minutes. When I got back to the office, I noticed there was some liquid in the bag. Some sauce had spilled. I discovered it must have been from the noodle dish itself. There was just too much soy-ish sauce in it. A bit too salty and runny. The chicken wasn’t too fatty as I feared, but it didn’t taste of the best quality either. Pretty disappointing overall. I’d probably only return if I had a life-threatening craving for chinese food, or if I was super drunk and didn’t care what I was putting into my body.

Worst place I’ve ever been to. I don’t recommend anyone to eat here. The food is nasty but yet experience. The Thai ice tea was horrible, it was like drinking sugar water. Got my food 5 minutes after I finished ordering so I’m assuming they reheated to top it off I didn’t get any utensils. Worst costumer service ever.
