This store is a diamond in the rough. The women at the counter was sweet, attentive, and super helpful. The prices are affordable and she had a lot of choices in lace trimming. She also carries veils, hair and head pieces and other jewelry. I will definitely come back.

Really cheap stuff. They won’t give you refunds or do exchanges so make sure you really want what you buy. The material is very cheap.

I was primarily on a mission for rhinestone trim and they didn’t have a very large selection of rhinestone trim per se(although they did have lace and some rhinestone appliques), but I am still rating them highly because the service was great. The women there seemed genuinely interested in helping me and weren’t at all pushy. That’s hard to come by in these parts. And I still did end up buying a metal comb for my veil at just $ 3 and a cake knife and server set at just $ 5. You can’t find anything that cheap even online. One word of caution is that you check the knife and server sets though bc some of the ones that have been out on display have oxidation marks that I don’t think will come off without some serious elbow grease, if at all. Which is not worth it for a $ 5 item. But once I pointed the marks out to the attendant, she went and found me a set that was totally clean. I was a happy customer.

As soon as you enter this unassuming location, you’re caught off guard with the big friendly greeting as you enter the store. So refreshing after visiting many other locations with my events/weddings planner wife in LA’s Garment District. Mr. Nick is a gentleman who is one cool character! There is a really huge selection of trimmings/lace/“bling” that he has stocked at great prices. Mr. Nick gives off this vibe that he loves to deal with you. He’s very helpful and worked hard to find exactly what we needed. Even with the comparably low prices, we still got all sorts of deals on a variety of wedding accessories as well. White flower girl baskets $ 8 each, Unity Candle $ 15, Cake Knife & Server $ 5, just to name a few. Definitely worth paying Trimming City a visit if you’re looking for this kind of stuff. ASIDE: On 8th St. between Los Angeles St. & Santee St. is $ 5 parking all day, just past«Ace Sewing Machine.»

Best place for lace. Period. Can’t beat the prices and the selection is wide. Hopefully it’s still open the next time I’m in the area! 5 stars because the owner is really nice and helpful in a non-pushy way.

Warning, I was told by the owner that this business will probably close down within 2 months or less. However, if you can get there beforehand, they’re deeply discounting their trims which include lace, appliqué, buttons, zippers, and bridal accessories. They also have feathers priced really low. They’re willing to make a deal because they need to clear out inventory so it’s worth stopping by to see what they have. The prices are great! And if you go there and they’re out of business, you can always go to one of the many trim shops just next door.
