Sean Sobczak Sculpture & Illuminated Art has been extended through January!
I only noticed this place because I saw the giant seahorse and other lighted art while driving by. I’m so glad we stopped. This is definitely a must see exhibit. Ethereal!
Continental Gallery has a great corner spot with huge windows. Definitely a good spot for any exhibiting artist. The inside is rather bare so it makes a good blank canvas to work with. Looking forward to other cool exhibits =)

The Sean Sobczak show was absolutely mesmerizing… I didn’t know jellyfish could be so beautiful! We wandered around the gallery in a state of illuminated bliss (no drugs involved, I swear)!!
Boo-​hoo! Last night was the final night of the show. I hope Continental continues to feature truly original artists like Sobczak. This show really raised the bar for art in downtown LA as far as I’m concerned…

You have to check out the current art exhibit before it leaves! Sean Sobczak Sculpture & Illuminated Art. Amazingly beautiful seahorses and dragons, sea creatures. I love it! Go NOW, December 29th is the last day. The gallery has a nice large open space for showing beautiful exhibits. I wish Luminosity was there permanently!

Another huge gallery space. And definitely another more «urban» feeling one since it feels like walls were knocked down to open it up.
There was a DJ spinning some dance-​y tunes the gay boys and I liked. We were a little confused though by the display of sunglasses. Were these for sale?
But because of the lack of walls, there wasn’t actually that much art. I would say this would be a better party space.
