Temporary Spaces 2

Went here on a thursday night for AFEX. Was nothing, but classic hip-​hop which was awesome. Has a pool table inside which you can use with1 dollar worth in quarters. Place is very small, but makes it feel really exclusive. From the outside, it look like an old apartment complex which is awesome! Place is simple but looks good. Nothing inside looks as if it needs work or anything. I recommend this venue on Thursdays if youre looking for a place to just chill and not hear any mainstream music. AND! they serve 40’s!!! how cool is that? Talk about bottle service. Don’t recommend this spot if you think you’re too cool for small, out of the scene spots. Djs were very awesome! I heard they sometimes dont even use laptops and keep it strictly to vinyl!

Droog party FREE before 11pm which was great and managed to pass the time before the dance floor got going playing a couple of frames of pool on the table in the back ;)
Really good space for a bar club, nice and dark with a sexy candle lit atmosphere. The dance floor is plastic sheeting with makes for a great surface to groove on, although the bass speakers are squeezed into the back corners so you can’t feel the pulse of the beat on the floor.
Great outdoor area and awesome lounging booths, which are private and accessible to the dance floor without being overly intrusive.
Would recommend if your looking for a smaller comfortable spot where the guys don’t out number the girls to much!

This isn’t even a review so much as a warning: if you’re going to try to come here on a Saturday night, go earlier than you think you should. I would rather spend the night in a Depression-​era sanitarium than try to find parking at this joint. Drove cross-​town for a friend’s birthday party and got completely shut out. Couldn’t even valet because they had «run out of tickets.»
Long story short: if TS2 is in your plans, good luck.

Living one block from TS2, I must say it was a convenient and solid find. It’s also bigger than the former Temporary Spaces, which allows for a bit more breathing room. The best night to go is BIG Saturdays, it’s usually ‘popping.’ Oh yes, popping.
Right next to the dance floor is an outside patio with a mexican food stand (!!) for all your late night feasting desires. That’s my favorite part.
The female bartenders are hot, but also efficient. However, the drinks are way overpriced for what it is. I don’t think well cocktails should be $ 8 at a hole in the wall establishment.
I also need to make note of the overabundance of late night party photographers there each time.
