I’ve been here a few times and I must say, this place is awesome; even though it’s a small place. The drinks r off the hook, nice bartenders(very attentive) and even though it’s small with two rooms; both r the bomb cause they play awesome music :) if you guys have been clubbing too many times and want to try something a lil bit different, best come here. U won’t regret it :)

The place has great music, you just gotta get informed before you go because you might get stuck with a night of music you dont like. They tend to have reggae, salsa nights. I like the crowd that comes here, but occasionally you get some unpleasant ppl Parking sucks, the place is small, therefore, you might wait outside some nights.

I had a great time! 2 DJs and each doing there best to out do each other. Here’s your score out 5 points. Parking: 3 points, Valet or street parking. Not the most convenient. Service: 3 points, Bartenders weren’t the most attentive. It has 2 bars an both weren’t giving me good service. Music: 5 points, good DJs and great music. dance floors were lively and plenty of space in the small venue to watch the ladies do their thing. Good place to go and dance. I had a blast and I’ll be going back for more. See you on the dance floor Unilocalers!

This place plays the best hip-hop, soul, funk, and more in Los Angeles!!! And finding a decent hip-hop club is like finding a needle in a haystack now a days, so take full advantage of it if you enjoy REAL hip-hop(none of the Soulja Boy booshit). If you like Zanzibar in Santa Monica(which also plays great hip hop), they usually have the same DJ here and he is amazing!!! Drinks range from $ 12-$ 15 I believe, but it’s LA… what else would you expect? The place gets HOT and HECTIC after 11pm, but hey when you want to go to a club with decent music those are going to be the consequences. The only thing that I’d be hesitant about is that the club is located by a somewhat sketchy neighborhood so beware ladies! Don’t walk alone of course and keep an eye out when walking from or to your car. Also, parking is fairly easy to find if you come early around the neighborhood surrounding the club, but again it’s kind of sketchy so just be well aware! Nothing to be freaked out about, but be cautious. I really recommend this place if you just want to go to a decent club with GREAT hip hop music!

I have only been here a few times, but only on Thursdays. Every Thursday my friends like to come and support all the indie hip-hop/r&b music that goes on. Now I love hip-hop and r&b, but some of the music here is a little bit too artsy for me. It’s kind of a hit or miss because either the songs are actually really good or I just really want to drink more to drown out whatever I am listening to. Drinks are not cheap either so in any case… they win. Where are all the songs about drinking, cars, and women? I can’t dance to a song about your trials and tribulations. The best I can do is stand there and bob my head from time to time. Not really my favorite spot to go to, but it is sometimes nice to support good talent… sometimes.

I’ve been going to Little Temple for years and although I don’t make it out as often as I like, I have fun every time I go so I gotta show this place some love for keeping it consistent. First off, the ease of getting in has stayed consistent… no hollywood-type waiting in line and the cover is reasonable like $ 5 or so. I’ve also been able to work out deals for a group of girlfriends. Inside I love that there are two rooms of music to choose from and when there is live music like when I was there the other week. Super awesome artist named Maya Jupiter who sang/rapped AND had Aloe Blacc singing on stage with her… love him! The drinks are reasonable and overall it’s just low-stress, down to earth fun… which isn’t easy to come by these days!

I had my 22nd birthday«party» here and I had a lot of fun!(from what I remember: P) What I really liked about this place, as did my guests, was the dress code. It’s NOT your typical LA club with long lines and a required Stank-ass ho & Ed Hardy, fist-pumping douchebag dress code. They weren’t very strict with what the ladies were wearing. «Sexy or comfortable attire for the ladies & no shorts, sandals, baseball caps, and plain white tees for the men». COMFORTABLE being the key word here. Of course I dressed up with it being my bday and all but the rest of my guests were very comfortable in their usual going-out attire(jeans, shirts, etc). Minus one star because it took FOREVER for me to make a reservation. I called once and got through but was very quickly told that I was going to be called back. Didn’t happen. This was one week from the date of my party. I called everyday for about 4 days. I left a voicemail and emailed them. They didn’t get back to me until about three days before. Being the person that I am, I like to get things like this done and taken care of way in advanced so this predicament really drove me crazy. I chose VIP Package #1 and my poison of choice was Malibu(Girly, I know… but IDGAF). $ 200 for a whole bottle of Malibu and 3 mixers is quite pricy, but our VIP table was right next to the dance floor which made it easier to take a sip of my rum & coke in between dances. Overall, I really like this place. And it’s super close to home! I’d definitely go back!

I have been here many times and gotta say I have never not had fun. The DJ’s are always playing the best music. A mix of old school, new school and radio hits. The place is always packed and people dance their asses off. Even got bottle service this past weekend for the bf’s bday. Basically just wanted to secure a booth to hold all our crap. We had two very attentive waitresses the entire night that were super accomodiating, friendly and fun! Overall great night!

Around 3 – 3.5 stars — I came here on a Wednesday night to watch my friend’s band perform. Bilal listening party + the DJ was on point, so 4 stars for music. Overall vibe is laidback — it may be different on weekends, but for the most part people were just standing around. I might bump my rating up if I return on a weekend and it’s a little more lively. Service & drinks were good — drank a lot of Henne that night :) Little Temple is not in the best area and there’s not much going on next door, so I think it’s one of those places you go to stay the whole night. Overall, I’d recommend if you are looking for a chill night with good drinks & good music.

If I was a fan of reggaeton, hip hop, or the type of people whom like that sort of music/environment; then I would like The Little Temple. However, I am none of the above. BUT, I can acknowledge that it is just my personal taste and that the bar is not bad if I was into that sort of thing. Make sense or am I just talking in circles? The Little Temple is a medium sized bar/dance club that is a bit too large for that fact that even on a Thursday it was barely filled. But hey, that means if you choose to dance to Sean Paul that the dj is spinning, you won’t bump into the sweaty Cuban next to you. Large U-shaped booths and a extra long bar sweeten the mix with a private VIP room next door(although I didn’t see anyone venture in there…). The beer glasses seem to be a bit larger than average which is welcome(Blue Moon on tap!) but the bartender wasn’t very much into having small talk or giving any bar love. I have to talk about the black and red bathroom. Although dirty, the stalls are VERY spacious. Enough so that if you are somewhat drunk, you actually have room to fall in there(Note to self: NO drinking when I haven’t eaten ALL day!). Not my type of place but not awful either. It’s a dive bar for the reggae crowd.

3.25 stars Been here 2x. It’s interesting little joint. It has a red temple theme. There’s a little bed-like arena for anyone who wants to lounge around. There are chairs near the front entrance. They have 2 sides to it and different music is blasting on different sides. The bathroom is small but at least there’s tp! I’ve gotten in both times for free by arriving at 10pm. They have tv screens with people dancing and cleavage shots. I suppose you can say they were all wearing«diving necklines». I figured I should add this in my vocab today since I just learned it’s meaning. My experiences: The first time I went with my classmates. It was a class event and by george it was awkward seeing everyone in that atmosphere. We filled up most of the club. There were awkward creepy guys standing along the sides watching people dance. The second time(pretty recently), my roommate had this urge to go play in LA. We were deciding btwn this and some asian club(who’s name I have forgotten). Super crowded and the club focused their musics on the 80’s. The music starting getting better towards the end, just as we were about to leave.

Okay so reading the other reviews, I wonder if mine will do justice. First of all — it’s hard to find a good hip hop club/lounge in this city. Either that, or no one has informed me of where to go. I’m from Chicago where most places have great hip hop nights
