Went to eat at this place with my friends and our kids. Food was excellent. I had the wet burrito, my husband had the camarones al mojo. So good! My only complaint is they only have 2 high chairs.

This place is very good! I had the breakfast burrito and it was one of the best that I’ve tasted! It was something different about this burrito. I can’t pin it, but it is something special about this burrito. A must try

I liked this place. I think I wanted to like it a bit more than I did. Here are the pro’s: clean, bright atmosphere. Very nice wait staff and very attentive. I think the tortillas and chips were homemade which is great. Overall the food tasted good. I’d say definitely a solid A-Ok. Also they are kid-friendly. There were a good number of kids in there when we were there and they had a special cheese quesadilla for the one-year-old with us. That was cool. The con’s: I asked for guac on the side(I do not like guac but my friends do). My plate came with a giant glob of guac dropped right smack in the middle of it on top of all my food. :(And, while I appreciated that they had multiple people checking on us it did make it a little confusing when someone asked us, for example, what we wanted to drink and then someone else came up 4 minutes later asking the same thing. Finally, our food was not hot enough. I thought it was maybe just my plate, but when I asked my fellow diners after, they said theirs was sort of luke warm as well. Kind of a bummer. These are relatively small«cons». Overall a very nice place and I would definitely go again if I had friends wanting to go. Just not hitting my threshold for four stars.

Need a new place to try and i turned to Unilocal for recommendations. This place is near my house and I had never heard of it. The reviews and the photos looked great. I stopped by on a Sunday night right before they closed, I wasn’t sure if they would still serve me but they were really nice. I had the enchiladas verdes which were delicious! Whoever is in the back cooking knows their traditional Mexican flavors. The salsa on the enchiladas were amazing and I really liked the that the tortillas were flour. I had a really great meal for under $ 10

Hands down my favorite Mexican food spot. This place has great dishes. The food is amazing. I love the sampler plater that comes with flautas, tacos, taquitos, and sopes. It is honestly enough for a couple of people so it makes for a good sharable appetizer or as a meal. They also allow you to bring your own alcohol since they do not serve any. Do yourself a favor and get some authentic Mexican food from this little hole in the wall spot.

Heck yes! Another good Mexican spot for the books. I am really picky when it comes to Mexican food(because I’m Mexican and know what it’s supposed to taste like) and this place is pretty solid. I came on a Saturday morning just to get their carne asada burrito and was not disappointed. It was a perfect combination of all things burrito: rice, beans, meat, onions, cilantro and most importantly: guacamole. The horchata was also decent, it had less of a granular texture and was more smooth and creamy. I also got to try the guayaba flan and let me tell you, it was on point. It had the consistency of a traditional flan, thick and full of flavor, which already sold me on that alone, so having the guava syrup was simply the cherry on top to this dessert(no pun intended). Although I did not get to try tacos or any of their other offerings, I was happy with what I ordered so far, so for that Taqueria Los Anaya belongs in my top Mexican restaurants in LA list for sure.

Been coming to this place for a long time. I’ve brought friends and family here and every time the food’s been great. Favorite from here is definitely the chilaquiles w/steak. Huge plate(dine in or to-go) that comes w/guac and sour cream. And their hot sauce is the BEST. Goddamn. I’ll ask for extra sauce to-go and use it on my own food prepared at home throughout the week. It’s that good. Prices have increased I’m assuming due to popularity, but if you want food better than your mom’s mom’s grandmom’s cooking, then pay up and come here. Closes at 4pm on Sunday’s I believe which is terrible, but everyone deserves a break, and these guys earn it(close later though pls). They do offer free parking in the spot AFTER the church parking — don’t park in the church because Jesus.

Love yourself by feeding yourself the best food in town! I have been an anaya fan back in 2012 and have been coming back ever since. everything is guarateed good food but if i had to choose, these are my favorites: –carne asada burrito with little rice and little beans. sprinkle that hot spicy salsa ! –chicken enchiladas with green sauce they use angus meat for carne asada which means that the meat is juicy, tender, and deliciously high quality. you need to try the carne asada here– even the tortilla that wrap their burritos is perfectly slightly crisp & heavenly. They have an average of 4.5÷5 stars for a reason. Much respect to the chefs in here.

Found Los Anaya through Unilocal and I am so glad I did! Their carne asada wet burrito(green sauce) is ! It came with rice, refried beans, sour cream, guacamole, cheese, cilantro and asada with chips on the side. The meat had a lot of flavor and was chewy. It’s a smaller restaurant, easy to pass up when looking for it so keep your eyes open. Had no problem getting a seat and the waiters are super nice. Although we had no trouble finding parking(we got lucky), I think it’s only street parking and they’re all mostly packed. I must come back next time I’m in LA!

Definite 5 stars. Authentic, tasty and reasonably priced. If you like eggs, have items all day. Wait staff is fantastic. I had Machaca eggs, and a tortilla soup. The soup was very tasty and what i liked was meat optional. The eggs were fluffy and tasted wonderful. A must try.

This spot is one of my favs! Some of the best Mexican food in LA! The Anayas know how to throw it down. The space is super festive with lots of Mexican decorations and music playing. It’s a small spot, but you usually don’t wait for more than 10 – 15 min if they’re busy. They are located just west of Crenshaw on Adams Blvd. All their meats are delicious, but I especially recommend their chicken mole(you can get mole tacos!), their seasoned chicken(adobada) and lengua(sooo tender!). Their shrimp Veracruz style is delicious as well. The slaw and seasoning are so fresh. Tacos, flautas, burritos, sopes or enchiladas, they have all your traditional Mexican fare, but everything is top quality ingredients. The specials they have are great too! Speficially their albondigas, mole negro, and I just recently had their barbacoa. Barbacoa was so flavorful with a rich chile seasoning. The plating is great, and they make their own tortillas. All the food is from scratch here, and made with care. The seasonal agua frescas are super refreshing, try the watermelon if on tap. The staff is very friendly as well, they make you feel like family. Lastly, they did catering for my wedding last year, 300+ people, and rocked everyone’s socks off. We had a great experience working with Manny and his crew. Check this local restaurant out and support the Anayas! Go now!

For me, the name of the game when it comes to Mexican food place is meat quality. If a place can make non-chewy flavorful meat, then they’ve won ¾ of the battle. After that its just a matter of presentation, decent salsa and quality tortillas. Now if you’re meat is of great quality and bring everything together along with it, you’ll have a fan for life here. Taqueria Los Anaya brings their A game on a consistent basis. I went to check them out with a friend for lunch on a Friday. For parking, there’s a lot of street but be careful since it’s a busy intersection. Inside, seating is divide into two areas: to the left there is seating for parties of 4 or more people and to the right there’s a lot of seating for pairs or if you’re by yourself. My friend and I took a seat and ordered the following: 1. Chicken nachos 2. Corn chowder soup 3. Enchilada plate 4. Quesadilla with Asada The nachos and soup came out first. The nachos were topped with chicken, sour cream, guacamole, and cheese. The chicken was flavorful and blended well with all the other toppings. The corn chowder came in a bigger bowl and was very hearty. That itself could have been someone’s meal. Our entrees came out last. The enchilada plate comes with three along with rice and beans. It was a really good portion and also packed good seasoning. The asada inside the quesadilla was tender and had good flavor. There have been so many instances in other Mexican spots where I order asada and get the lowest quality meat and generally is extremely chewy. At Taqueria Los Anaya, the asada is tender and really good! They won me over with their meat as well as the quality of their ingredients. All in all, I had a really good experience at Taqueria Los Anaya. If you’re feeling like quality sit down Mexican food, this is your spot.

A very nice little sit down Mexican place! We were in for a quick bite and didn’t realize it was a sit down restaurant until we got there! Keep in mind the kitchen is a bit slow so expect to wait about 10 to 15 minutes minimum. I got the chilaquiles and carnitas taco and my bf Jon T got the carne asada burrito. Chilaquiles– this was my first time eating this dish so I wouldn’t be able to compare it to anything else but I really liked the fresh tortilla chips with eggs! It comes with avocado and sour cream on the side. The chips got a bit soggy towards the end but it was still good. Carnitas Taco — $ 1.50 I guess there are different types of carnitas, sometimes it’s fried pork belly and sometimes it’s pulled pork. This place it’s crunchy fried pork belly. I liked it but I prefer pulled pork version. Carne Asada burrito — Burrito isn’t as big as other places but it’s a decent size. The meat is cooked with onions so keep in mind of that if you don’t like onions. Comes with yummy tortilla chips. I generally associate mexican food places as take out and super fast, but this place is a bit different so keep that in mind before you come! The food taste is definitely worth it.

This place is great!!! I would recommend Taqueria Los Anaya for breakfast! Service is pretty slow but that’s because they are super busy on the weekends! So when you go, be prepared for a wait! The food here is delicious. The only thing I didn’t like about Taqueria Los Anaya was the music they play in there is super loud. You can’t hear anyone talking to you in the table. There’s two sides to the restaurant. When you walk in, the left side is the more fancy side. I’d come back here. I love Mexican food!

I most definitely will be coming back! I’m new to the neighborhood and the flavors and prices are definitely RIGHT! The handmade corn tortillas are DELICIOUSLYFRESH! Great masa. I don’t know if they make flour tortillas by hand, will find out next time. I got Huevos Mexicanos, which is scrambled eggs and chorizo with onions and cilantro. The beans being very good; the rice was OK. Comes with fresh tortillas which pair awesomely with the scramble. Good-to-decent coffee. It didn’t suck, like most eateries. The décor is nice if that’s what you’re into, but the prices are rock-bottom low. Good service in either English or Spanish.
