After taking in an art show at the Convention Center, we headed down Pico in search of some LA grub — we almost stopped at a number of different taco joints, as well as Papa Christo’s, but when we approached this corner, our street food specialist(who happens to be 15 and a denizen of this particular block of Los Angeles) let out a Unilocal of joy that the stand was already open. We shrieked into the Smart and Final parking lot, and bustled into line, piling our paper plates high with chicken, al pastor, carne asada and lengua tacos, condiments of our choice, and gobbled away, barely breathing after completion, and then went back in line for more, this time accompanied by a large horchata. Day was just turning into dusk, crowds were appearing and jostling into line, and the gritty LA air was suffused with the redolence of spit marinated pork, onions browning in fat, and tangy limes and cilantro. Did I say $ 1.50 for a taco? Wonderful street food, and great guys who suffered through my picture taking. Going back soon.

This was the best al pastor I’ve ever had. I don’t really know what else to say than that. I mean, I’ve had a lot of al pastor. But it’s never been this crisp yet moist or this flavorful. The suadero is good too, but really just pastor it up. You’ll definitely have seconds. The true question is if you’ll have thirds.

Horrible horrible horrible. Ordered this service for a work event, 60% of the staff was violently ill for Thanksgiving. I thought I was actually dying. Very dirty!!! Called the manager and were told«do what you’re going to do». Unprofessionally handled and repulsive with how sick we got.

$ 1.25 tacos and $ 2 horchata. Listen to Andres L. and get the suadero(brisket) and pastor(pork). The carne asada and their various salsas are just okay, but the marinated meats OMG. Freaking amazing. Mindblowing if eaten immediately. Will definitely be my go-to and to-go Mexican joint from here on out! Much closer to me than El Taurino, Leo’s and El Chato. They have a storefront and truck in Huntington Park, but the setup here is straight up on the street corner in front of Smart & Final. I’ve always seen a line but this time it was short so I finally decided to try and so glad I did.

The best in Koreatown. Vast selection of meats and toppings. I’ve had pastor, lengua, suadero, pollo, asada, chorizo, etc and they’re all fantastic. Go with pastor and suadero though if it’s your first time. It’s cheap and they’re always quick even if there’s a line.

I’m from San Diego so I’m a full force«TACOSNOB». Every time I pass by here it’s packed. Finally decided to stop by and I know why. Best tacos I’ve had since I’ve been in LA(8 Months). Show some respect and spend some money with RAZA. 1.25 a taco. This spot is A-1FIRE player.

Stopped at the taco stand by USC. This stand had the best street tacos I have ever had! Great price, nice people, awesome food. There is not much else to say other than you need to stop by and try the tacos!

Best tacos I’ve ever had! I’ve tried pretty well known taco trucks like Leo’s on la brea and el chato, but both can’t compare. I always get the pastor and chorizo. Their condiments are the best, must try the red salsa and the marinated cucumbers! The salsa is super spicy, but it has a great flavor.

Tasty tacos in a sketchy spot. I had 3 unknown meat tacos that were likely«head, al pastor» and something else lol The chicken was dry so skip that. The stuff cooking fresh was amazing! The guys cooking it were a little odd. One may have been drunk or high. I think I enjoyed the experience but will have to go back to double check :) Suggest eating here Excellent toppings/sauces and superb horchata. Hmmm… I know what Horchata is… I’ve been here too long.

My step-dad told me about this truck about a year ago, skeptical at first he took us all one day and man were we impressed. The guys are sweet and the food is DELICIOUS! The tacos. YUM! And only $ 1 — Absolutely LOVE the tacos de tripa and the tacos al pastor are pretty bomb too. My little brother always gets carne asada and the parents have tried them all. No complaints here! They have a variety of toppings to compliment your tacos too, so it’s pretty cool. They have 3 different salsas — which are all really good, frijoles(beans), diced onion, chopped cilantro, rabano(turnip), pepino(cucumber), and some onion/habanero/jalapeño mix. It’s all really good. If you like tacos de tripa I would definitely recommend you try these cuz, oh man, my absolute fave tacos de tripa to date. SOGOOD!

Don’t let this place’s outward appearance discourage you from coming. These street vendors are LA’s answer to New York’s halal food. There are amazing tacos at this gem of a taco stand right outside of the Smart & Final on Pico & Hobart. They’re open from 5pm-midnight every day and their suadero tacos are to die for. Look for the string of lights tied onto the street sign to know that you’re in the right place. $ 1 per taco, $ 4 for a quesadilla, and all of the meat is cut fresh and cooked to order for you in front of you. They’ve also got all of the toppings that you would want for any of your food so definitely come and check this place out!

Thank you, Charlie S., for completing my life. I first got to try these amazing tacos at their location in East LA as I was dragged out on an impromptu taco run that became a voyage, scouring through the city, interrogating random taco trucks, in search of the«Taco Man Not Taco Man» stand, since it wasn’t listed anywhere, nor could we remember the name. When we found it, it was well worth the journey. Such satisfying, flavor-infused, homey treats, and not to mention cheap. I’m sure driving all over the city while starving/hangry made the tacos that much more amazing. Anyway, the guy at the grill nonchalantly mentioned that they have a truck on Hobart/Pico. So that brings us to this post. Since people need to know about Tacos La Guera. It’s legit. The mulitas probably help this particularly truck stand out, a mini quesadilla with meat. But my favorite by far is their al pastor, crispy, fatty, rotisseried perfection, topped with a slice of grilled pineapple. Ahhhh
