Tried the K.f.c. And jersey girl sandwich with a side of chicken nuggets. Let’s start with the kfc, it’s Korean fried chicken glazed with a sweet and a little spicy sauce, topped with a fresh coleslaw that really compliments the sandwich. My favorite I would say! Jersey girl– really hearty Sandwich with deli meat, provolone and aioli mustard(missing some toppings) really good sandwich as well! The chicken nuggets are another knockout! Fresh(not frozen) sweet Sriracha glazed and super crispy. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. If you see this truck, do not hesitate to stop by. I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

I’m really not a big fan of food truck food. Swarmi’s has changed that for me. They were our 1 of 2 food truck choices today, and am I ever glad and I can not wait until they come again. As I write this, I’m chowing down on a Jersey Girl sandwich and this dog gone thing is tasty as can be. I love the Chutzpah(«No! We don’t make sandwiches without the bread;» «No, we don’t do subsitutions» «If you omit an ingredient [and alter the flavor profile — or words to that effect] it’s your own damn fault» They definitely construct a sandwich with complex flavor, texture and just the right amount of the right ingredients. I’m giving it 5 stars and I repeat, I am no fan of food truck food. But these folks know what they’re doing, that’s for darn sure. I really recommend them.

Christmas came early for me when this truck came into my life. I ordered the chicken nuggets(little pieces of chicken goodness with a dash of sweet/sour flavoring) with a side of brussel sprouts. I always love my vegetables with a side of thick bacon, butter, and cheese. YESPLEASE. Next time this truck comes my way, I am definitely going to go wild.

I’ve only given the KFC(Korean Fried Chicken) sandwich a try and all I can say is, Good Lawd!!! This sandwich is easily five stars, but I’m giving the truck 4-stars because I haven’t tried anything else… seems fair, right?

Had their kfc sandwich twice and it did not disappoint. Very tasty, flavorful, the right amount of spicy korean taste and SUUUPER filling. Great price too for that amount of food. Tried their Jersey Girl and it was great too, pretty salty but I dig it. I always look forward to get their sandwich when they came around for lunch. Most importantly, these sandwiches fills you up for what they cost and they don’t charge extra for using credit card, thanks guys!

Got the LA Fitness and was not disappointed. I don’t know how«fit» it is, but it was definitely yummy. Tender juicy pork with a tasty pesto fennel slaw. I also loved that it was only $ 10. I’ve gotten so used spending nearly $ 20 at food trucks and walking away still dissatisfied. This is definitely one of the top food trucks out there. Give it a try if you come across it!

The Mac & Cheese and the Chicken Nuggets make the best combo ever for only $ 9. It is plenty of food and the Mac & Cheese is amazing. The Chicken Nuggets have just enough spice and sauce to make your mouth water. Trust me get these two items if you want a delicious meal.

The Mac and cheese is great! The service was awesome. I have had a few things off this truck at LACMA. Never lets me down…

This was pretty much the best lunch I have had in the history of life on earth. LA Fitness sandwich, amazing delicious pork shoulder combined with pesto sauce. PLUS chicken nuggets on the side were equally incredible. I am going to start chasing this truck all over town.

The KFC(Korean Fried Chicken) sandwich is PHENOMENAL. Approved by Korean Jesus himself!(jk but really) I didn’t expect the flavor of the chicken to taste even similar to authentic Korean fried chicken, but to my pleasant surprise, it was! Sweet with a kick(though I wish it was spicier) and the chicken itself is SO tender and juicy. No dryness here! Told myself I was gonna eat half for lunch and save the rest for later but I couldn’t stop myself. The coleslaw is a great touch. My only complaint: I’m not a fan of crusty bread, so I wasn’t partial to the Ciabatta they use for their sandwiches. Wish they had other breads or even gave us the option to order the KFC without the bread(wouldn’t be a sandwich anymore but hey, I’d buy it!) Was looking forward to trying their rosemary chips as well, but they didn’t seem to have it today! Maybe next time.

Ordered the jersey girl Consisted of: Mortadella, salame, provolone, lettuce, tomato, cherry peppers, aioli, mustard. The mortadella was lightly charred and had great flavor. The salami, provolone, etc were lost in a sea of creamy mayo. It was good, not great. Sandwich was $ 10.50 which seemed appropriate for the truck scene. I would try something different if I see them again.

So I’ve seen this truck parked out by my work a few times and finally thought I’d give it a try. Boy am I glad I did… I tried the first thing that caught my attention, the Korean Fried Chicken sandwich. Wow! This thing was effin’ delicious! Nice crispness on the chicken and the kimchi cole slaw was a great addition. Sandwich had the perfect amount of spiciness too. If this was any indication of the quality and caliber of their food, I’m going to have to try the rest of the menu. To top this all off, the woman who takes orders is super friendly and cheerful. Even after returning the following week she recognized me and was glad to hear my feedback. The only reason I don’t give this 5 stars is because I haven’t tried more items, but after future visits I’ll be sure to adjust my ratings

Swami’s Sandwiches are truly unique amongst the prominent L.A. food truck frenzy! Just one glance at the menu had me salivating. I immediately wanted to try everything but after careful selection my friend and I agreed to split the Christy Morales and L.A. Fitness. The Christy Morales is juicy pork carnitas drenched in a rich, roasted garlic chile sauce, cumin-lime coleslaw, pickled red onions, and cilantro. The L.A. Fitness is Succulent roasted pork shoulder dressed with a basil pesto, sweet caramelized onions, lettuce, and pickled fennel. Just in case that doesn’t have you salivating: Imagine juicy pork balanced with layers of pickled veggies topped with robust sauces cradled between warm ciabatta bread that soaks in every drop of savory goodness! Two words: Tastebud Harmony! Each ingredient is bold, but well thought of and well executed to create a one of a kind gourmet sandwich experience. The last bite was just as tantalizing as the first and has left a lingering impression! I will be back to try the Korean Fried Chicken: Crispy fried chicken thigh dunked in sweet and spicy Korean glaze sprinkled with sesame seeds, cilantro, kimchi coleslaw.

I tried the Jersey Girl and the KFC vegetarian style. Both were amazing! The sauce and the cabbage on the KFC were so delicious and flavorful. The meat substitute looked like real meat and kept me satisfied – I assume from the amount of protein! I also got the handmade rosemary chips – freaking delicious. They were fresh, light, and seasoned so nicely! The staff were also super friendly and cheerful! I got my food shortly before they sold out of everything! I can’t wait to go back and try the other sammies!

WOW. This place was slammed but so worth the wait. All of Swami’s sandwiches are unique(no lazy cold cuts and mayo here) and they were sold out of a few by the time we got there, so we tried the Jersey Girl and the LA Fitness. Just…damn. I got the Jersey Girl vegetarian(all of the sandwiches are available with a vegetarian protein) and it was phenomenal. Crunchy pickles, flavorful«meat,» provolone, a great house made sauce. Textually varied, delicious, easily the best vegetarian sandwich I’ve had, hands down. SO got the LA Fitness; pork belly, fennel, pesto mayo, caramelized onions. It seemed like an ambitious mélange and… it was incredible. I wanted to try the Korean Fried Chicken(cheekily nicknamed«KFC») but they were out. I’ll definitely try it next time. We also got the rosemary lemon chips which may have been the best potato chips I’ve ever had. Swami’s promises a sandwich experience and delivers 100%. The sandwiches are unique, all made fresh to order; crunchy, creamy, the right amount of chewy in each bite. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. These guys are the real deal. I’m looking forward to my next sandwich from Swami’s.
